Wow that was splendiferous!! Grace and I stood at the barrier for a crazy but rewarding 12 hours!!! Songs were amazing live and the new tunes sound monstrous. I was the guy up the front centre singing every word of HLH and Charlie Brown... Think that surprised a few people. Chris seemed in a crappy mood after he smashed his guitar... The birthday sing a long and version of "rehab" were special. It was great to hear Shiver... What a treat... Every ounce of our energy was used up but they closed the festival in spectacular fashion! I can't wait to fly home tonight and find all the live streams! Got some great photos from the front and a video of HLH. Still buzzing and it's the morning after!!!!

Yeah I am of the opinion "The Roller" is a lot stronger than Noel's single Noel realises it himself in interviews when he says The Roller would have been huge for Oasis

Well technically you don't "line up". But there will be a D-section at the front and if that is full, there is no getting in. I recommend you get in there earlier rather than later. Like myself, I am getting in there at 6pm to watch Elbow, Kaisers, Pulp then CP all in a row! Going to be an exhausting last night but totally worth it. I did it at BDO last year for Muse so it's worth it getting in early!

Well, Tiger threw my plans into disarray... a return flight MEL to BRI went from $120 to now $320. Now fingers crossed no ash cloud comes otherwise im really screwed. Already shelled out $1000 for this festival!!!

The splendour timetable was released this morning. Very happy. Friday and Sunday nights to be epic!!! Only 3 clashes. Grace I'll have to show you my proposed plan! Which btw involves main stage last night from 6pm-12pm!!

Wow, Jamie! This is a big shock. Sorry to hear, but I guess you move on. Since starting full time work and leaving Uni I havent visited this place nearly as much as I used to. Priorities change, I guess. Was great to have some valid and logical discussions with one of the more logical members of the forum. And another Man U fan! The passion lives on, still going to lots of gigs (as Grace will know)... just not as in touch with the scene as I used to. You get to a point where you have discovered most of the bands you love so you just stick with their releases over the years. The band is working hard for our first gig at the moment and our first single will be available soon, very exciting times!
