Never say never on the live performances but I do understand it would be difficult. Considering Electric Eye is such a complex song, I haven't head any others but I have heard Ferreting is very Coldplay... And the mystery is all part of building up the hype through buzz (viral) marketing over the internet. Once they're popular enough you'll see them come out a bit more, do interviews, etc. And once the album is out of course.

You can put them both in the folk category, but then different subcategories of folk. As you said, each to his own opinion! And an ETA for my top 50 is about 20th of Dec. I've already submitted a rough list for this, but this will be a mega unveiling. Cos I put heaps of effort in!

And Mumford and Sons sound nothing like fleet foxes! They're more a softer version of someone like the Pogues. They're in my top 50.

Top list. You've described it well, mine is about 70% the same but in a different order. You think yours was long and boring... mine isn't even finished yet! Wish you could have given Florence a bit more of a special mention, but of course, everyone's tastes are different! Well done. I'm not a massive fan of Veckatimest, but you have described it perfectly - maturing with age.
