Them Crooked Vultures
Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Queens Of The Stone Age supergroup Them Crooked Vultures have posted a very short snippet of their music online. The band, featuring John Paul Jones, Dave Grohl and Josh Homme, have posted a portion of a track on YouTube which can be watched below. The music, accompanied by an animation featuring three men with vultures' heads, is entitled 'Nobody Loves Me And Neither Do I'. Along with the video, the trio have added pictures, a forum and merchandise to their Themcrookedvultures.com/ website. Them Crooked Vultures made their live debut in Chicago at midnight on Monday morning (August 10). They closed the set with the song they have posted. Yeah I know.. hope you enjoy it! Here's the band's review (from facebook) Our second night in Melbourne was one of the best shows of the tour so far. Thanks to the great audience response we received. Its amazing what difference it makes when the crowd is really getting behind you. It was the second show in the same venue, and whenever that happens it always feels a little more comfortable, just before we walked out on to stage we said to each other we were just going go out and enjoy ourselves and the whole show had a really relaxed feeling because of that. Afterwards we headed across the road to a bar called Society and had some drinks with all our Melbourne friends. One of the things I really enjoyed about the show is that it was the first time I saw people properly singing along to all the new songs, so thank you very much for that, it made all the new songs feel real for the first time. Next stop Adelaide. Kav

Do you actually believe there is such thing as a "soul mate"
Well you (arizzo) and your PC certainly arent soulmates
-
Do you actually believe there is such thing as a "soul mate"
Yeah, soulmates isnt a stats thing, but the title is 'do you actually believe...' and the figures lead me to believe its not true

Post Here If You Love Hannah
Right my ass is in here... now what next

Do you actually believe there is such thing as a "soul mate"
I'd love to believe that idea is true, but probably not. And I dont agree with the above statement, especially when statistically an increasing number of marriages end in separation and divorce... If only soulmates WAS true!!!

lol whoever took them was exactly on the opposite balcony I was on Thurs night!! Thats the same view I got from the front row of the balcony. Yeah you had your camera out a bit, saw you were taking vids.... so they didnt come out well? I want to put my photos up on the net, but I need time for them to upload. No vids because mine doesnt take great sound. Here's a review of the gig from fasterlouder.com.au: Added spoiler in case you are going to future gigs [Min :)] I feel the same way, Grace. Want another gig but I have nothing next until the Cat Empire in September!

lol Grace, I had a feeling it was you from the start. It was purely coincidental that we went that side of the stage, but there were three things that gave it away: 1. When you said you went to coldplay concert 2. When you said this was your second (your sig says it is) 3. and... you like muse (your sig also) So I was 100% sure chatting to you. Just surprised I wasn't as easy. My sig, comments give away heaps of clues that we chatted about!!!

It was an awesome night, much better than Thursday's show... the power of a sold out crowd. Was front of the crowd and loved it. My mate and I sung out every word, knowing the setlist was no problem. I thought Bob Evans (support) was much better on Fri, he sounded great from up the front. A very enjoyable night, at my favourite venue in Melb! Oh and the line was crazy long this time, we waited in the dodgy alley around the back. I'm pretty sure they opened doors early at 8:15 rather than 8:30. And thank god for them pulling everything back by 15mins. Mim, I think I did see you on Thursday night in the crowd, up the front.. your description was familiar. I had a good look from the balcony, but, seriously, nothing beats up the front. Kav's wife/partner was behind us, so he kept looking in our direction the entire night.
