  1. After two listens, all I can say is we'll always have Everyday Life.
  2. Too nervous to accept cookies from that mega site lol.
  3. Yeah, it's pretty lame. "HEY EVERYBODY I HAVE IT. SORRY CAN'T GIVE IT TO YOU"
  4. Leave the old albums alone. Some folks have this desire to tinker with them and I don't understand it.
  5. They really did follow the Mylo schedule.
  6. I counted 12 distinct tracks but we'll see!
  7. Waking up tomorrow in a real good mood.
  8. At this point, I'm just assuming they really are following the MX playbook: album announcement in July, second single in August, album in September.
  9. Add me to the group who still doesn't love the song but thinks the live version is miles better. My least favorite section is that "Hold tight, come on" part and actually hearing Jonny's guitar over that makes it infinity more listenable. Honestly, I haven't listened to the studio version since.
  10. Exactly haha. I'm an Oldplayer since '02. It's times like this where I anxiously await a new record because I'm a loyal fan and then when I'm disappointed, I turn back to the old stuff.
  11. I think the problem for me is the first 2:30 are fairly underwhelming and THEN it kicks into gear. That's cool but I'm also left thinking "where was that energy from the start? WHERE WAS JONNY?"
  12. I think it's fine. The verses are kinda dull and Chris's singing is almost too muted. It doesn't really take off until the last chorus when Chris goes high and you can finally hear Jonny trying to break through. That should've been the whole song.
  13. Real or fake, those are some Chris Martin lyrics.
  14. As long as Jonny drops a magic riff in there, we'll all be okay. But yeah, this is what pop Coldplay produced by Max Martin is gonna be. No big surprise.
  15. I feel for others in places that aren't ready to reopen. My state reopens fully on May 28 so this era is really gonna be tied into returning to normal life.
  16. Another Mylo release schedule would be disappointing. I'll stick to them announcing the album for June next Friday.
  17. 1. Rush 2. Parachutes 3. Viva 4. X&Y 5. EL 6. MX 7. GS 8. AHFOD
  18. My first post in 11 years! I've been an occasional lurker over these many years, mainly when a new album drops. I had to log back in for a moment because this is their best work since Viva and I'm not sure it's close.
  19. I'd love to know where the U2 downloads thread is.
  20. LIT II and Glass of Water aren't doing much for me. Rainy Day sounds good, but Prospekt's March is the real winner. That one is just beautiful.
  21. Snow Patrol wasn't bad, but Eminem was very nice.
  22. I think Lost is the most logical choice. Not sure some of the other popular songs, such as 42 and Yes would work that well as singles.
  23. Cemeteries - black, dark green Strawberry - blue and yellow, though not red for some reason. Yes - not exactly a color but the desert
