I'm really nervous of submitting my mixtape. After checking my partner's last.fm...they listen to about 95% of the same stuff as me, finding it really hard to get a good mixtape for them...but i've done the best I can, I hope they like it!

Coldplay are my favourite band...so I may be a bit biased. When I first heard the 'Viva La Vida' album, I was disappointed but grew to love it...the same happened with Christmas Lights, so I do feel that I'm not an obsessive fan boy which would like everything Coldplay has ever released on first play. One grumble of mine is the fact Chris sings so low at the start, it just doesn't feel Coldplay-ey, but I grew to accept it and I think it is a great Christmas song, but I have heard better. I personally enjoy 'A Great Big Sled' by The Killers more than 'Christmas Lights'

I really like it! But yeah it does sound more like a Brandon Flowers song rather than a Killers song, it's much slower that 'Happy Birthday...' but I think it is lovely! :)

Coldplay are my favourite band ever. End of. But unfortunately I haven't been able to see them live yet...but I have seen Muse...and boy did I LOVE IT! They had an amazing stage show. It was mesmerising. While at the gig, I talked to a nice woman who had seen Muse 17 times, and she was telling me about how she has met Matt and the band and has said that Matt is very shy, that is why there isn't much banter at a Muse concert but the music said it all. In one way I would like banter, but when there is this massive atmosphere going on...banter can break it up and ruin it a bit. From what I've heard Coldplay are just out of this world and I cannot wait to see them. The jury is out for me at the moment, so ask me again when I've seen Coldplay and I can compare! :)
