Speaking of sales I saw this today at my local Barnes & noble. Notice that the discounted new cd is not only Coldplay . They are currently discounting a lot of new releases (not Adele of course lol). But it's a good sign they are at least promoting a bit :) [ATTACH=full]3700[/ATTACH]

Totally understandable! If we like this listening party idea we will for sure alternate between most favorable west and east side of the globe time :) so we all get a chance. I'd say early afternoon US/evening EU is probably the most favorable time for all but we can talk about it next time. :)

Ok I will be in Europe by the time we do a next time so 3 pm Europe time I dont mind haha But I see no need for our american friends to get up so early for nothing hehe :) Btw I chose 9 pm as the latest time on the poll because after 9 pm my brain starts to go in sleep mode, too sleepy to appreciate the nuances of the songs hehe

Nah I meant that Beyoncé is viewed highly in the US (or so I heard...Im not much knowledgeable on things Beyonce haha) Ah yes you meant comments from celebs. Yeah VIVA was the most talked about era I think, MX being the second one. Grammys I used to think they were something, but after seeing the people who got them in recent years...I dont know I stopped paying attention hehe Either I dont get it, or I dont seem to like the music the Grammys think its amazing.

I totally get what you´re saying. I guess Im just pragmatic. What people think and say about you have very little to do with what you "deserve"imo, what people say have 90% more to do with their own issues than others :) There are plenty of examples of people who get unwarranted praise and people who do amazing things in silence or even suffering backlash. I dont think the "judgement of the people" have much to do with reality...I surely hope it doesent get to our boys. I dont think it does much anymore :) I can imagine you develop a thick skin for that being in the public eye for many years.

Am I the only one who dont wanna see any song like "Warning Sign" ? Mind you, I love the song, but I expect the show to be colourful and vibrant. Im an existing fan and I´d still much rather see ASFOS or Hymn than The Scientist at this particular show

I agree thats probably where they most were known, cuz of Viva the single as well. Though I must say they got more backing now than ever in terms of "big name stars". Even "the chief" put his Hancock on the new album hehe

I hear ya...but welcome to planet Earth, where people think and say what they will about you. lol I used to get kinda upset about it too but I figured you just have to live with it, no reason bothering about something you cant control. As long as you know you´re truth, thats what matters. Im pretty sure the boys know that too :)

I totally agree and they probably never will. My theory is that its their earnestness...they are so earnest in a way which is rarely seen in our world nowadays. So people often react to earnestness with thinking "they are so nice, it must be fake it must be contrived and cheesy". Its the sad truth of how we live that a true honest public display of positive emotions without cynicism is a rare sight, so rare that when we see it, we dont know what to make of it.

Are you in GMT? So far its gonna likely be at 6 AM central european time. And yeah thats early hehe We´ll see how it goes this time, but next time we might consider say an early Sunday afternoon/noon for americans, which should be late evening for Europe.

You kinda forget the other side of this coin....there are a lot of people who began liking Coldplay from Viva through Paradise. There are also people who liked them before and still like them now. Bottom line: there were always people who liked them and people who didn't and its the same today. I guess Coldplay wanted to please all and finally realised they couldn't....
