Dont know. I guess it differs. Im probably just very pragmatic about it. I figure you can never be 100% sure people will be there for you so I dont even factor that in the equation so I´ve gotten quite used to just rely on myself. Which is I think 98% of time a good thing I find, but the 2% not so good...when you´re in a relationship and you need to slowly get used to count on someone, rely on them, let them in. Its not easy and you have to unlearn a lot of the behaviour you have as a single man to embrace a new dynamic as a couple, so thats where I found it hard, but Im getting better at it, at embracing the thought hehe :)

I rarely listen to it myself. I dont even have it in my iTunes actually...I must say its probably one of my least favourite Coldplay songs hehe

I randomly listened to Daylight today and those chords almost give me a queasy feeling *lol* Such a weird song...

Cant say I think either adds anything to the songs... To be perfectly honest I dont think Coldplay have made many memorable videos all in all hehe Ironically my favourite is probably the one they ended up not using for ASFOS! I also like Every Teardrop and Princess.

They should almost be renamed Chirplay hehe

Not sure if the Birds video had a secret subliminal message sent to my brain, but after seeing that I saw Adventure video again and for the first time I really liked it! Before I was mostly meh about it, but now it was like "nice!" :)

Hehe well I think its an Oldplayers decision more than anyone else...they are mostly the ones who cant get how anyone can like the new stuff while I think very few find it baffling that they like the old stuff hehe Are there actually a lot of Newplayers? I dont know if Ive encountered many who ONLY like the new stuff hehe I may be wrong of course :)

LOL Well the all seeing eye on the dollar bill is well known to be a Freemason symbol. Lots of the founding fathers were freemasons :) Nothing too occult there other than they were leaving their own little mark on the land they founded :) And LOL about that Bank of America haha I had no idea...I thought they´d use something like "John Doe" :)

I just wanna say how I noticed they are doing more and more things for the fans this time around: Im thinking of the request booth especially. Its like I feel now they have reached a sweet spot in their musical journey, they are where they have always wanted to be and they are ready to look back, embrace it all and indulge some of the fans wishes for old songs to be played live. This Birds video is another nod to the fans imo as well as the exclusive interview. Im expecting more "for the fans" stuff like this in this era...we shall see. :)

^^Exactly! That, coupled with the little easter egg, almost makes me think it was a little thing for us the hardcore fans. And they honestly could not have picked a better song. I think its hands down the most popular here off AHFOD across all Coldplayers hehe

Jonny is the man on all albums but I think he has grown exponentially with the later works. Compare his work on Parachutes or A Rush to what he later did on MX and now AHFOD. He is just blossoming more and more!

Me too. Viva was the revolution. I think a lot of Oldplayers kinda forget to wonder why Coldplay actually made the change they did. They really were not going anywhere after X&Y. They were repeating their "old tricks" as per their own admission and they had hit a wall. I honestly think without Brian Eno and Viva Coldplay would not still be making music now...

"Neutralplaying" actually gives me more the feel of "Im entirely indifferent about any Coldplay song" LOL

Love the easter egg *lol* I think this was a little video a la Midnight, but perhaps also mostly aimed at the fans :) Perhaps they picked the song they know pretty much everyone here likes hehe

I like how we can see the full sentence now "God is love" from the still in the booklet where it just said "love". I like how they tied the shot with the video. Nice continuity.
