LOL! So true. But yes, I think she's very talented. I LOVE 'Embrace' as well. It's a solid, well-crafted pop album.

Ladyhawke's album was one of my favourites of last year. I highly reccomend it. Franz Ferdinand's is amazing as well. I think it's my favourite album from them.

One year... time flies when you're having fun. I remember being so exicted becuase I had just finished my last exam and the first thing I did afterwards was go and buy the album as a treat.

As much as I like Parachutes, it's not my favourite album in terms of sound. I think someone mentioned it in another thread, that maybe by stripped down and acoustic they mean songs like 'Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground' or 'Prospekt's March'.
