  1. Wow! Love Emeli Sande. And I'm partial to Marina and the Diamonds too. Let's hope by the time the Australian leg comes around they'll have similar types of support acts for here.
  2. I think you've got the wrong version then.
  3. No, the person that told that joke is Kris Smith. He didn't interview them, he's Dannii Minogue's boyfriend (they have a 1 yr old boy together). He was talking about how his father in-law, Ron Minogue met Chris (Kylie was there too) and he made a bad joke about Apple's name.
  4. It's a good song but I think 'Teenage Dream' is more in league with Crazy In Love, Toxic, Can't Get You Out Of My Head etc.... the top tier of pop. Having said that, I love that Chris made such a bold statement like that.
  5. Fun fact: It's Coldplay's 4th consecutive #1 album in Australia. :D
  6. From ARIA chart official twitter: Congrats! :D
  7. Everyone who doesn't understand the outfits and is complaining about them needs to read this: Thank you for posting!
  8. It was such a good interview. Short but good. Glad Andrew G did it. Also, the bit afterwards where Kris Smith (Dannii Minogue's partner) tells the story of when Ron Minogue met Chris after Apple was born made me chuckle even though I'd already heard it before. Such a dad thing to do.
  9. Awesome! I think they also put videos up after their shows on their site
  10. Ooh, I got my copy yesterday from JB as well. There was no display for it though or anything- just on the shelves in the artist section :( Played it for the first time and 1am last night and it was such a wonderful experience. Just sitting there and taking it all in for the first time. Just have to order the pop up version now :D
  11. At this point, I would like to quote Robbie Williams. Journalist from NME: Can I get a quote? Robbie: Yes. Fuck off.
  12. I usually agree with Cameron Adams reviews but this one has left me feeling cold. That and I haven't heard the album yet so I can't yet give my own judgement.
  13. Actually people do buy albums. Just like some people buy vinyls. And there are different types of fan practices. For those of us waiting to listen, it goes back to a habit that maybe most of us formed before the era of mp3s and leaking. There's an emotional attachment that the act provides and for us, enhances our cultural capital in the fandom. I'm not saying that those of us waiting are better fans than those who've listened to the leak, it's just different practices that we see as being part of fan culture.
  14. Kanye is a genius. And Chris is right- even by listening to Kanye's last album it was genre leaping, but it worked so well.
  15. Holding out. I've waited this long, what's another 3 days?
  16. I just noticed Moses is making the same face as Chris in those pictures. Genetics...never ceases to amaze me lol!
  17. I agree, but perhaps it's the benefit of hindsight in that he no longer sees that previous relationship on the same level as his with Gwyneth.
  18. I'm pretty sure it's midnight Aus EST.
  19. They could be filming a video for a future single and just have it ready to go when that single is released.
  20. Nope. Waiting until I have a copy in my hot little hands :D
  21. That's not real. If you read the post, it's just a fan mix of what they would like to see on there.
