The flow on effect of the Australian tour is reflected in this weeks ARIA charts: the band sees a number of their tracks in the charts - there's 'Viva La Vida' at No.23, 'Fix You' at No.47, 'Yellow' at No.48, 'Clocks' at No.56, 'Life In Technicolour II' at No.74, 'The Scientist' at No.76, 'Violet Hill' at No.81 and 'The Hardest Part' at No.97. And on the album chart: VLV= # 5 (3xP) Parachutes= # 32 AROBTTH= #33 X&Y= # 38 This is amazing considering the Parachutes and AROBTTH re-entered the charts in the top 50 two weeks ago and X&Y the week after.

No, it's just that she's got her facts wrong. A good parody is the French and Saunders skit from a few years back. It wasn't done in the hopes of having the audience think that Gwyneth and Chris are prententious wankers, it was quite nice actually. This Katy Brand sounds like she'd doing it because she has some sort of vendetta against them.

I seriously melted when I saw the Viva Australia graphic on tv. That last photo of the photogs...they all look angry.

I would like to see a dance off between Peter Garrett (lead singer of Midnight Oil and sometime member of parliament) and Chris. I wonder who would win.... My personal fav is the juggling of the hands eg Grammy's 2009 the moment between Lost?+ and VLV. Another one is the popping hands. See VLV vid for ref.
