You've never worked in showbiz. Of course he is biased, and moreover he is a journalist. It's his work promote things. W/o news he will lose his job. And believe me I know how it works because I has something to do with movie industry - when you saw movie at the preview you've never said it's awful because you want to be polite. So my point - don't built high expectations and take this twitts with grain of salt.

Ok, so chap from The Sun went to the gig and wrote how is he excited and it's has nothing to do with his job. We live in a pink world, I guess.

Hold on, I wouldn't be so excited. It's their job, tease us and sell product. And gig is one thing, the other is an album. Guardian praised December charity gigs as well, even w/o new material. Great gig doesn't mean LP5 is great.

Ok, that's clever. So what about the music? How was it? What direction or style? More piano or acoustic guitar? How the stage look? Etc.

Reason why they didn't announce it because they don't have artwork and other stuff ready. It means they had unexpected delays, so now they are forcing to rush things.

Well it could be the first song they wrote for LP5, so it could be closer to VLV era. I don't know. The title isn't depressing, it's kind of poetry line, poetry is all about feelings and emotions, so in the end it could be step forward comparing to soulless VLV. Also VLV first single was one of the weakest song. Perhaps this time it could be the same.

Dinner party for 150 people? Definitely, a small, private gig. 3 years ago such gig was announced and we got photo and tracklist. Something really weird is going on there.

So much buzz about nothing so far. But one thing is for sure - promotion of LP5 is absolutely terrible so far. Those "teasers", which means nothing in the end, rushed single artwork, kind of costumes again. We still don't know album title and when it would be released. That's a bummer.

Marvelous! So maybe it would be global event, so Russian/CIS fans could expect the same performance at least in Moscow!

How about one week vacation? Jeez, you would be able download it from cellphone in metro - it's couple of mb. I will download it at work like Violet Hill 3 years ago.

It looks like coldplaying stuff has short memory: Chris Martin reveals several titles for the new Coldplay album Aside from song titles beginning with the letter U, Chris revealed there are tracks slated for inclusion on the album including 'Hurts Like Heaven' and 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall', which will likely be the album closer.

Well it's a given fact that lyrics represents only 15% of the music, personally I even don't bother read it. For non-native speaker it's a complete mess ;)

Well AFAIK band had really narrow time frame for everything to be ready. So it looks a bit rush and uncompleted. But I like direction. And that's something new. Also perhaps they want attract younger girly fans, why not? I wouldn't mind about fresh blood :)

Well, at least this better than VLV costumes, also noticed addiction to pink and violet color. Did you know that violet is color of madness? Also this sorta rainbow colors and emblem - they want attract new homo fans???

Yep, but it's not *typical* release. They are going to show Glastonbury gig in IMAX, it could only mean presentation of a new album in such extraordinary way. Perhaps even in 3D. That's why Guy said Glasty is still a headache for them. If they would really play new album, it could mean sooner release. Maybe in July-August. Besides in digital format they could release it ahead of cd/vynil.

Who said otherwise? Certainly they should keep moving forward, but it doesn't mean they should lack emotions. And of course each band has its own ups and downs. I hope the latter was passed with VLV.
