Depends on how long it will take before they finish the album, though I think it will go pretty smoothly now they had many months to try-out the material. I'm sure they will tour next year, though I don't think they will announce new live dates before the start of 2007. I heard rumours Thom might do a smallscale solo tour though....- N*SYNC's Lance Bass says 'bye bye bye' to his 'lie lie lie'...
Ofcourse he's gay. He was in a boy band for crying out loud. Justin Timberlake, on the other hand, is way TOO popular to be gay.- What If single
- Gilmore Girls
Hang on... They're fighting? Hmm.. I might have to start watching it again. Two pretty women fighting... always worth a watch.- The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
I like the album, though I still think Showbiz and Origin Of Symmetry are superior. Might be better than Absolution though...- Radiohead
The tour this summer (may until august) is just for the band to see how their fans respond to the new material they've been working on. When response if (very) positive, they'll probably keep it. When response is mediocre, they'll probably scrap it (or at least work on it some more). So I'm sure they'll keep the best stuff for the album, which probably isn't due for release this year yet. Probably early 2007. However, there WILL be new material this summer. Probably a download-only EP though... Either way, I'll be seeing them in Amsterdam on 9th May + 10th May. I'm really looking forward to hearing the new stuff.- Radiohead
I'm going to try my very best to get tickets for the Amsterdam gigs. This is the best news in months!- Katie Melua
Not Katie, but Mike (who first spoke to the audience about not taking photograhps w/ flash because it ruins the camera shots). And yes, it was clearly introduced as a to-be-released-on-DVD gig.- Radiohead
- Katie Melua
Actually I do. Went to see her in Amsterdam ealier this week. The whole gig was recorded for a future DVD release. Lucky me! Oh, and it was great. The gig I mean.- Coming up: Dutch special edition 2-CD release of X&Y
The Dutch are being spoiled by EMI. As reported earlier, last month 3 exclusive limited edition singles of 'Talk' were released in the Netherlands including live bonus tracks. Now, the band's latest album X&Y will get a re-release in the Netherlands as a special Dutch edition later this month, including all the b-sides on a special bonus disc. Official release date is set for 16th January, though it will be in most of the shops 3 days earlier. Tracklist Disc 1 1. Square One 2. What If 3. White Shadows 4. Fix You 5. Talk 6. X&Y 7. Speed Of Sound 8. A Message 9. Low 10. The Hardest Part 11. Swallowed In The Sea 12. Twisted Logic Tracklist Disc 2 1. Things I Don't Understand 2. Proof 3. The World Turned Upside Down 4. Pour Me - Live At The Hollywood Bowl 5. Sleeping Sun 6. Gravity- coldplay vs radiohead
Have you ever bothered listening to The Bends? If not, try it...- coldplay vs radiohead
I don't think they sound similar. They're opposites. Radiohead are the 'dark side', Coldplay the 'bright side'. I prefer the 'dark side' myself, but every once and again I can't help but meddle with the 'bright side' as well... Or something.- Their Next Single...
They should release all the tracks as singles. One per month.- Radiohead tour - May 2006
Yeah, I heard it on the radio earlier. Awesome! Hopefully they'll do a gig in the Netherlands as well...- Their Next Single...
I'm not sure if there's gonna be a next single, but since Coldplay will be touring until may/june (at least) I think they might release a fourth after all. WHITE SHADOWS gets my vote. It's perfect single material. Second favourite for a single is SQUARE ONE, because it's kind of an anthem. WHAT IF might get a shot as well. I don't think X&Y (same beaudot code as album artwork), SWALLOWED IN THE SEA (too long beaudot code), THE HARDEST PART (rarely played live), TWISTED LOGIC (rarely played live) nor TIL KINGDOM COME (hidden tracks are never singles, except maybe 'Big Yellow Taxi' by Counting Crows) will become singles. Personally I'd love A MESSAGE to be a single, but somehow I don't think they'll pick that one...- Talk single: out ?
Do you mean January or December? :D I heard that "Talk" was released on December 2nd in the Netherlands. ;) I think Jan means the European release of Talk (w/ Sleeping Sun/Gravity).- Woah!! TALK is no.1 in the Netherlands!!
- Woah!! TALK is no.1 in the Netherlands!!
Wow, I just can't believe it. Just checked this week's Dutch singles chart on the internet, and... TALK IS No.1 !!!! :D Top 10: 1 (6) Coldplay - Talk 2 (1) Madonna - Hung Up 3 (5) Katie Melua - Nine Million Bicycles 4 (2) Bob Sinclar - Love Generation 5 (3) Anouk - One Word 6 (23) Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu 7 (4) Black Eyed Peas - My Humps 8 (7) Robbie Williams - Trippin' 9 (13) Racoon - Laugh About It 10 (48 ) Robbie Williams - Advertising Space Looks like 'Talk' has become a X-mas No.1 after all.... Obviously this means 'Talk' is their biggest hit in the Netherlands to date, beating off the success of 'Clocks' (#2 in 2003). http://www.megacharts.nl (Mega Top 50)- Dvd is filmed already as it seems..
Awesome. There can never be enough Coldplay DVD's. Amen.- Upcoming: Talk 12" remix release
Check out Junkie XL's official website Here, the wellknown Dutch deejay writes: So there you go... A 12" vinyl single is coming inluding at least the following two tracks: - Talk (Junkie XL remix) - Talk (Francois K remix) Perhaps another Röyksopp-esque limited edition release ie. Clocks?- 'Talk' single out TODAY
As I already predicted a while ago... Talk will be as huge for X&Y as Clocks was for AROBTTH. It will be a massive hit, and it'll drive you crazy in about 4 months from now - Evanescence
Not a fan. Amy sounds like a frog. - The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
