F*ck greatest hits. Why the hell should they release a greatest hits? They released 3 albums which sold shitloads. Clearly nobody's waiting for a greatest hits album, because they already own Coldplay's complete back catalogue (well, perhaps not all the b-sides)

Chris might be paranoid before the release of each album, claiming this 'just might be the last one'... But seriously, I think Coldplay will be around for years. Perhaps not as long as U2 or so, but at least for 3 or 4 more albums, so say..... 10 years.

I think it's a good list Because... let's face it... most of these albums (ie. Top 10) were quite revolutionary and influential in some way (yes, even Eminem's), whereas Coldplay hasn't (yet) made one yet. You might not like some of the albums mentioned, but you can't deny its 'status'. Sure, Coldplay have made 3 good albums, and many people like them for making beautiful music, but I don't think any of the albums can be called 'influential'.. let alone 'revolutionary'. I mean, Coldplay aren't often mentioned when an interviewer asks some celeb "which artist(s) and/or band(s) have influenced you to make this album". Yes, many may answer: "I dig Coldplay" or "They're a great band", but never "AROBTTH has inspired me to write this song and/or that album". Geddit?

One week to go until Glastonbury 2005. As we all know Coldplay will headline the Pyramid Stage on saturday. Since I'll be home watching it on the telly, I'd like to know when Coldplay will be playing. Can somebody help me out here? I just need a time. Thanks!

I agree with this point. Would be nice to hear some rocking tunes on a future album. Something like the live version of 'One I Love'. Something really jumpy.
