Yeah, digging it too. It's cool they used Gagging Order. Not many 'album fans' know that song.

Concerts/Artists you have seen/Are planning to see
I wouldn't be surprised if I'd seen close to 1,000 gigs in my life. But to be honest, I haven't got a clue. I've seen A LOT, let's stick with that.

You are my hero! :D

December 21 2012
I've heard this crap a million times. Nostradamus couldn't even predict his own death, let alone the end of human kind. I remember some geezer predicting the end of the world in either june or july 1999. On that day I was at an R.E.M. gig, and Michael Stipe suddenly went: "Oh my God. Is it midnight yet? We made it! Congratulations all, we're still alive", and then they kicked off playing 'It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)'. That was so great. I had goosebumps all over.

Best and Worst Big Bands\Artists Comebacks of 2008
Surely Portishead were responsible for best comeback of the year. The Verve was ok too, though their comeback album should've been better. I guess I expected too much of it. Same goes for The Notwist. I agree with Guns N Roses being the worst. Haven't bothered listening to the Metallica / AC/DC albums, because I don't care much for either of these bands.

Speaking of downloads... Have any of you guys bothered downloading the full Live In Japan DVD yet? It's cheer genius. It's approx. 88 minutes in length and consists of 17 brilliant performances of old and new songs. Info: http://www.ateaseweb.com/mb/index.php?showtopic=235059305 I recommend downloading the 4GB DVD, though it might take a while before it's completely downloaded. But it's worth it!

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Go to their site http://www.muse.mu/ Wait a minute, and a flickering picture of a gift package comes popping up. Click on it, and you will be able to download the video :)

Well, yeah. May 2000 if I'm not mistaking.

Robbie Williams...
Granted, his last two albums kinda sucked but contained a few very good pop songs. It's just a matter of recording as much as possible and select the 14(-ish) best songs for a new album, and release the remaining songs as b-sides or download bonus tracks. I'm sure he can still make a quality album one day. I still have faith. Summat.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
I must state though that both Chris (Martin) and Matt were very cool when I met them. But it's been over 8 years since I met Matt, so dunno... perhaps he lost his cool over the years (though I highly doubt that) ;)

Muse are definitely a better live band than Coldplay imo. But I do agree that Chris is more charming compared to Matt.

Radiohead
Very likely, because that was a TV broadcast. And a well-known one as well. And it's definitely a bootleg DVD. But that's ok, cause it's a good gig. It has a live rendition of 'Packt Like Sardines....', which is pretty rare.

Will 2009 be the year that sees physical singles die?
I used to be a big, big singles fanatic: collecting singles from my favourite bands. I still buy singles, but only online (recordstore.co.uk mostly). Most shops aren't even selling singles anymore. Too bad artists are kinda giving up on singles themselves. Singles are often released as 7" or digital downloads only, which is a shame. Coldplay, R.E.M., Radiohead and Travis included.

bands that need to reform and save music
Oh gawd. Oh well. Could be worse, I guess. Like, Village People...

Don't forget Phil's soon-to-be-released debut solo album!

Kiss goes Avant-Garde!
Soooooo silly, but I love it.

Radiohead
I have that shirt! But alas, it's way too big (it was an internet order). Anywayz.... off to eat some hamburgers now.

Travis
Too bad Peter Gabriel is pretty boring nowadays. Saw him about 1,5 years ago, and I seriously couldn't be arsed at all.
-
Radiohead
It's insane though that they haven't bothered releasing a new live DVD since...

10-Sep-2009: Goffertpark, Nijmegen - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews, Setlists, Photos/Videos
Ofcourse I'll be there. It'll be the 9th time I'm seeing the band (or perhaps the 10th, if the band are to play the Rock Werchter festival in Belgium next year as well)

The R.E.M. Thread
It's almost december, and 'Accelerate' is still my #1 album of 2008. Would be the first time R.E.M. made an 'album of the year' for me, since I started making lists (I think I started making them in 1997).

Top 5 albums of 2008 .....
