  1. I confess I think he's making really stupid decisions for his life, especially when he has so much going for him, and I wish I had the authority to tell him.
  2. I'm pretty sure what they have now isn't final; it's probably just a substitute that needs to still be worked on. :nice:
  3. "Wembley Every Day"? "We Excite Dragons"? :uhoh:
  4. Miller! And Lovers in Japan (although my fingers are crossed that they'll still play it on every tour to come).
  5. Is it really all over?! It just dawned on me when I went to Coldplay.com and saw the absence of all the red, white and black VLV's. Hope you all had a fabulous time/glad those of you who have reported back had a fabulous time! It must have been the most epic gig in history. :cheesy:
  6. A secret gig too? No fair ;)
  7. *Exactly* what happened with me. I think part of the reason everyone was sitting was cos of security. And ahhh, jealous that you've seen them 3 times!
  8. So do I, and it's definitely the best venue I've been to! Yeah, it was really disappointing. :( I'm definitely getting general admission tickets if I see them again.
  9. I can't believe it's over. :bigcry: And yes, what were the setlist changes???
  10. ^Oh, I really need to see that.
  11. I know, it's such an amazing place. It's really trippy on the inside, too, with all this antique rainbow/neon stuff and these giant Buddha statues.
  12. Finally got around to uploading my Killers photos from the awesome awesome awesome Shoreline concert last Saturday!!! Sorry for the massive photo spam. Review on my blog!
  13. So AM was awesome on Wednesday, however, the show overall wasn't so great. The opening band, location, and music overall were brilliant, and Alex seemed completely sober and in a very good mood (he kept interacting with the crowd in the pit, which was lovely), but the audience was so horrible that it nearly ruined the show for me. The theatre I was in had 3 balconies and then the pit, and I was in the 3rd balcony (but I snuck down into the 1st balcony almost right away). The pit looked very lively, but nearly everyone in it was completely wasted and stoned out of their minds. It would have been much better than the balcony, though- cos where I was, absolutely no one was standing or singing or moving at all. People clapped at the end of each song, but no one stood up even once. I got my friends to get up with me at one point, but we got yelled at by the people sitting behind us for blocking their views. Quite simply, it was ridiculous. :\ It was really hard to enjoy the show while sitting still, but the Arctic Monkeys themselves were fabulous. They played an awesome and flawless set, and it went on for about 20 minutes longer than expected, which was exciting. But overall, I had a pretty disappointing experience (and I don't blame the band at all, obviously!!).
  14. I wish I was there so badly! I'm so excited for everyone, can't say that enough
  15. At the Arctic Monkeys concert (but wearing my Killers shirt): I'm on the far right :)
  16. :wacky: So excited for everyone in this whole London business. Eeeek!
  17. DCFC, Grizzly Bear, The Killers, Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, AND Muse? :D
  18. Happy birthday, Rolle!
  19. Haha, I like that idea  I've decided I'm definitely going to this, even if I have to settle for GA lawn tickets. I'm currently trying to win tickets through an organization, but I doubt that'll happen, so I'll buy some when they go on sale! I just have to pick a day to go.
  20. I still haven't listened to any of the remasters. I'm mad at my self for procrastinating on that. I suggest watching some of their short films, then!
  21. Oh god, I had the biggest crush on him when I was like 9. I can't believe it when I think about it. :wacky:
  22. Mountain View, California. It's about a 30 minute drive south from San Francisco! Unfortunately I just found out that all the good reserved tickets will be auctioned off, and since it's a well-known benefit concert I assume they'll be for pretty high prices. :( The general admission lawn tickets, however, are at fixed prices- $39 I think.
  23. Oooh thanks, now I'll know not to leave after the lights go off! Yep, that makes perfect sense.
  24. Good, either way I'm sure I'll be pleased, considering I've never seen them live before so my standards aren't very high. How long of a set do they usually play?
