You're a lucky girl to have met all four of them! I think it's especially hard to get to meet Tom. ;) @mc_squared: You're not going to see them in Cologne again, are you? ;) It's so sad that they'll return to Germany and I won't be able to see them. But I hardly can do anything if they seem to forgo the whole South... :( It almost breaks my heart as I'd have loved to see them again this year... :\ I even consider to pay 110€ for a festival ticket just to go there for one day so I can see the lads... But I know that this is quite a ridiculous idea... :confused:

To be honest, I didn't even feel like watching this show this year because in my opinion it loses a bit of its (already low) level each year... But I usually have a lot of fun at the part where the points are being distributed, mostly because most countries are so predictable. :lol: So I thought I might give it a go and hey, it wasn't that bad this year! That kind of surprised me as well, but there were some more decent entries and less annoying entries, at least in my humble opinion. :) I really liked the fact that the bigger part of the participants rather counted on ballads and "slower" songs instead of the annoying stuff with a lot of show and less focus on the singing. :) I've never been thinking much of the German entries as I can't even remember the last time we had an acceptable one, so I don't really care about how far we get. ;) Instead, my favourite tonight was Denmark. I'm not a big fan of Ronan Keating, but I somehow liked that song and the performance. :) I also liked Portugal and Iceland. Well, as for the winner... That guy actually seems to be quite likeable and he's obviously impressively good at playing the violin, but I didn't like his singing/voice that much. Nevertheless, the song's quite nice and I think he deserves the victory, so congratulations to Norway! :D

To be honest, I've never really paid that much attention to Snow Patrol... I of course knew some of their songs, but I just thought they were quite nice, nothing more... Until I heard Run a couple of weeks ago! :stunned: I loved it immrediately as it simply took my breath away! So I thought I might give them another go and bought their new album. And well, what can I say? It really got me into their music! Today, I even bought a ticket for one of their shows this month and I'm really looking forward to that! :D

Yeah, I watched it yesterday. It's funny as he always chooses one song I really like for every show. So I was really interested in how he'd perform "Why does it always rain on me?". Well, to be honest, I think it was okay and at least better than his first song, but in my opinion he still can do much better. ;) Anyways... Travis uploaded a new video on Youtube. :lol: Dougie shows their tourbus and I think it's just really cute and also funny. And to be honest, I've always been curious about how a tourbus looks from the inside, too. :D In case you haven't watched it yet, there you go: [ame= ] [/ame]

Dr. House. I just started watching it a few weeks ago (I know, I'm late... :rolleyes:) and it's so addictive! :D

The Reader - 9/10. I really wanted to watch that movie because I had to read the book in school last year, so now I finally made it to the cinema. :) I actually think the book is pretty good and so is the movie! I liked the fact that it was quite close to the book (at least in my eyes ;) ) and it was really moving! Most of the scenes were even like I'd imagined them to be. Plus the actors were brilliant. :)
