  1. Aww, they're being interviewed?! That's awesome! :nice: They indeed are a very lucky bunch of people! :)
  2. Good God, I've only been away for about 2 hours and the last page I read was #74... Obviously, I feel like I must have missed a lot! :stunned: Well, I need some time to warm up first, my limbs are numb because of the cold. :\
  3. I know. It's not fair. :\ But at least all those lucky people share their experience in some way with us which is at any rate better than nothing at all. :)
  4. Firefox for me as well. :nice: Chris even promised to come back again after the soundcheck! He's so lovely and caring. :cheesy:
  5. vivacrew: Chris Martin came and said hi AGAIN!!!!!! ^^ Omg, those lucky lucky people! :bomb: @Tamara: Welcome back! Eating the lunch in 10 minutes?! Wow! :stunned::lol: Haha, it's the same here with me and my knowledge in French. ;)
  6. But at least you'd understand a lot and that's something, too! :nice: And then you could still answer in English. :)
  7. Aww, Guy came out as well? I'm sure it's only a question of time until Will and Jonny pop up. :) Well, that's a long time! I'm sure you're pretty good at it anyway! :nice: And yeah, I believe learning/understanding how to use the articles can be very tricky indeed... @Tamara: Enjoy your meal! :)
  8. Hehe, okay. Deal. :nice: So I'll take my camera with me when I'll go to the Christmas market. :) @2GreenEyes: Awesome! :) How long have you been learning the language already? @Thalia: Kann nich verstehen. @Crests: Hi there! :)
  9. Aww, I'm sorry. I can understand you! Well, you know: Here in Southern Germany, we've got loads of snow, I'd really like to share it with you. ;) If you want to, I'll take a photo of the snowy streets for you later...? Is that a deal? :nice: @Thalia: Ja, alles klar hier. :laugh3:
  10. Hi Tamara, nice to meet you! :) @Thalia: Hey du, auch grad schon lange nicht mehr gesehen! :) @Jo: Hi there! Later, I'll probably go out for about 2 hours as well... Damn. Actually, I don't want to go outside because it's snowing like mad and I really don't want to miss anything on here and on the photoblog, either. :\
  11. Aww, how kind of him! :cheesy: Lucky folks being first in the queue and THEN meeting Chris as well! :stunned: :)
  12. Yay for the photoblog, I'll definitely follow as well and join you guys on here. I'm all in for another try for a shoutout! :D @Bianca: Good morning!
  13. Just found a video of Run which was the third song Gary performed: [ame= ] [/ame] The quality's pretty much amazing! :cheesy: (There's the bad memory again...) I actually liked the idea they had in the documentary of Gary being too lost into the "moment" and forgetting the lyrics because of that. It sometimes really seems like that's exactly the case. :) Haha, Gary seems to have a thing for T-Shirts related to children stories etc., doesn't he? I remember him wearing a "Dr. Seuss"-T-Shirt when I met him in July. I wonder whether it's the same mug all the time... Maybe it's something like a talisman, who knows? :)
  14. I found this video yesterday when I was searching for one of Gary & Lisa singing "Set the fire to the third bar": [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRRewAzWcX0]YouTube- Snow Patrol Set the Fire to the Third Bar - Reworked Tour Dublin 2nd December 2009[/ame] Well, one can't see much of the two of them, but better than nothing. I really love the (new) country-feel to the song. :) And here's another video of Gary's performance in the HMV in Dundrum: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K4FTIyGv8o]YouTube- Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars[/ame] Poor Gary, he seems to be so lost without Nathan... I'm not so sure whether he walked on stage with the mug, but it certainly was there at some point. It appears in quite a few of Anna's and my videos. I even took a photo of him holding the mug as a proof for Bianca, but it unfortunately turned out rather blurry (just like most of my photos). :dozey: Yeah, I loved that part in the documentary! I think nobody can really explain it, but I guess it's already kind of "routine" and something would be missing/feel strange if Gary suddenly remembered ALL lyrics. At least I find it quite amusing and cute anyway. ;)
  15. Oh dear, that acoustic version of JSY is so damn beautiful! I think Gary's doing a pretty decent job on his own, but I must admit that I miss Nathan nonetheless... Especially his backing vocals. ;) Has anybody noticed Gary's mug? You can see it in the video, too. It's so funny because he seems to carry it with him almost everywhere. And the Macbook... I guess that one's quite "famous" now as well... It's there to help him remember the lyrics, but he still tends to forget them anyway... :laugh3: The interview's awesome as well! That story about his parents is so cute. :cheesy: And the fact that he showed his mobile phone... :laugh3: He also mentioned his niece Honey again! Gary's obviously loving her to bits.
  16. Lucky you! :) Well, you know, I'd totally come with you... If only I could. :( But attending one of their gigs all alone isn't too bad, trust me ... I've been on my own both times I saw them and I still enjoyed the show a lot! Plus you usually find loads of nice people around to talk to anyway... :)

  19. I know. But there's no way of adjusting the date where I'll have that damn oral examination. I don't even know when it is, but I know it will be sometime around the end of June... And since I need to get prepared for it as well, I really can't go... :\ Oh well... Next time then, I guess... ;)
  20. No problem. ;) Oooh the jealousy. :P:rolleyes: Well, then there are at least some reviews guaranteed for us poor souls who (probably) can't go...
  21. Where's all the love for Keane gone?! :stunned: They just posted some MASSIVE news on the official website: KEANE ANNOUNCE NEW 8-TRACK EP AND ENGLISH FOREST TOUR Doesn't it sound just so lovely? :D I'm really looking forward to that EP, "Sovereign Light Café" already sounds SO promising! :cheesy: And the forest tour... Sweet idea, isn't it? If only I could go. That'd have been the next best reason to go to the UK and attend a gig, but seriously, the timing's just not the best, at least not for me... I'll have the last part of my A-Levels during that time, so I better don't think about attending one of those gigs anymore... :dozey: Oh dear, the one in Kent would've been so perfect... :\
  22. Mark Haddon - The curious incident of the dog in the night-time Finally found it after having forgotten both the author and the title. I only remembered a bit of the plot, but luckily the staff at Waterstone's is very helpful. :D
  23. The Killers - Live from the Royal Albert Hall (Having been there recently, I just couldn't resist...:D) Milow - Maybe next year
  24. In case anyone's interested, here's the first part of Monday's setlist: Kite, I know there isn't gaffer tape on it, but maybe some notes will do, too? Looking at those notes, I think I got Tom's setlists. :) @Anna: Thanks a lot for sharing all those videos with us! You know I love them so much! :cheesy: Especially the video of Nathan going nuts... Absolutely priceless! @darkchoc92: Thanks for sharing that video with us, it's awesome! "One day like this" was one of my favourite songs they played at the gig on Monday. :) So, how did you like the whole gig in a whole? Would love to read a review, even if it's just a short one. :D
  25. Martin & James - Broken Sword Just discovered them. What a gifted couple! :stunned: Need to get more songs by them. :)
