  1. 1st question: Yeah, I'm pretty confident that this has to be Richard Colburn because that's at least how Gary always called him when introducing "The Golden Floor" at the three gigs I've been to. :) 2nd question: Umm, I haven't got that one yet! :stunned::confused: But yep, "Post Punk Progression" would be my answer as well. It's on the Live DVD from 2004, I really like that song. :D And I guess "PPP" is just the abbrevation for it... ;) 3rd question: Did some research on that as well and it seems that we both found the same sources... So, unless those sources are wrong, "High Wycombe" has to be the answer... 4th question: The answer's probably "Spiderman". Research on youtube led me to this video: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6DD6mqcez4&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - Spiderman climbs speakers during Snow Patrol, T In The Park[/ame] Gary's comment on that is just legendary... :laugh3::laugh3: But I'm not quite sure about the question which album was Mercury prize nominated... I've got the feeling that it's Final Straw, though. I think I read that somewhere... Is there anybody who can confirm this? And that Park in Bangor's called Ward Park, isn't it? At least that's the name I remembered. Might be wrong, though, because my memory's not the best (Bianca can actually tell a thing or two about that...:lol:).
  2. Hey Kim! I already had a look at the questions as well and I must say there are quite some tough ones, but I did some research yesterday and think I found out about most of the answers... I posted them all to Bianca yesterday and just wanted to wait for her comfirmation. ;) But yeah, I'd already thought that it obviously HAD to be Run and then I looked for some videos which would confirm that on youtube and found a similar one to yours, so I guess "Run" should be right. ;) Seriously, I think such people are just annoying and I would never DARE to do that, especially not in that situation! Just like you, I'd probably either be rooted to that very spot and not able to move at all or just busy trying not to faint... You know, "Run"'s my absolute favourite, so I'd nearly die anyway if he just came near to me during that song.
  3. I'm glad it wasn't about my bad memory once. Got your point, just send the PM and I'll gladly add my two cents to it. :nice: But really, I don't think this is creepy or anything. ;) Hey Crests! :)
  4. I know... :shame: But as I said: It's hard to resist because it's so funny. Really, first time ever I don't get your point? I don't think so, but, you know, my memory's so bad anyway... :dozey:
  5. Nicole, is that YOU saying THAT?:P Yeah, but this was the last time. As I said: I think it'd be better if we stopped now or otherwise it'll just go on and scare even more people. But I knoooow, it's going to be hard... I mean, at least for me it's really hard to resist... And: I don't really get your point about being creepy or whatever...
  6. Haha Bianca, that was very nicely put indeed!:uhg: And so true. :nice: But wait, we could also say: Where's Gary, there's Mary. :wink3: Oh no, wait. I better stop with that now or otherwise it'll never take an end.:laugh3: Nicole, they look great! :wideeyed:
  7. Just wanted to say: The link's not mine, I only discovered it on on the SP boards, so a massive thanks goes to the assiduous folks over there! :) And Bianca: That cover looks absolutely amazing! :wacky: Although I must admit that I'd have liked it even more without the host on it (her facial expressing looks kind of scary, that's all ;)).
  8. Welcome back Bernard! :) Yeah, I can only agree with you: This new design's freaking me out as well. Hopefully it'll be gone soon again... :dozey: Aww Bianca, I'm so sorry. I hope it'll get better very soon!
  9. Bianca, you're the best photo- & old-songs-finder in the whole wide world. And I mean that. :smug::hug: @Meredith: I'm glad you like those videos. :) And yep, those are all mine. :) @Jea: Haha, he said so many funny things in Hamburg! I watched the livestream and hreally enjoyed it! :cheesy: I especially loved his comments on those two beer bottles and the smell of the food.
  10. I missed the first part of the show because I wasn't at home at that time, so I really hope someone managed to record it. :( I tuned in accidently about 30-45 minutes ago and then I just heard Gary talking and they played a Kinks-Cover... I guess the other two songs will be played sometime in between the show...? What a pity because I don't think I'll be able to listen to the radio all the afternoon... :\ Again: Hopefuly someone will record them... So, here are all my videos that contain bits of Gary's babbling in between the songs. :) I'll then dedicate them all to you Jen! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YXHwIHBLsI]Gary embarassing Troy :D[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YXHwIHBLsI]Gary and the robbers on the roof :D[/ame] Still one of my all-time favourites... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foiCbTNWZdU]Lots of babbling during Shut your eyes[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4blbeQBTvSs]Gary and his new husband[/ame]Oh dear, that was SO hilarious!!! :laugh3: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giUnYd6y-Ms]Gary and the go kart accident[/ame] Classic! It was definitely funny at that moment, but hearing the whole story afterwards, I felt really sorry for him... :\ [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x98dxeNALO8]Gary and the moth[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXMe58mCBNY]Gary and the definition of dedication[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnl3KPn8NI4]Gary pretends to have swallowed the moth[/ame] Yeah, I guess that's about it. I hope you'll like them. :) @A Distant Echo: It seems like Round 3's up already! I had a look at the questions and, well, let me tell you: Most of them are pretty tough! :stunned: We'll definitely have to do some serious research again...
  11. That was either at the gig in Lörrach or in Dettenheim, at least at one of the shows I attended in July. :) I think it was Lörrach, though... Anyways, it was SO funny! In fact, he said so many funny things between the songs, the audience literally burst out every time. I caught many moments on video and I think I've posted most of them already, but in case anybody would like to see them again or hasn't seen them yet, just tell me and I'll gladly post the links again. :)
  12. Oh, I got your point! And it makes a lot of sense! :D So, those are kind of sneak peeks for the DVD... Which would mean that we'll get to see even more old photos and stuff like that... :wink3: Yay! You found them on your computer just now? How could you forget about them until yet? ;) You better dig in your files a little deeper, so you'll perhaps find even more treasures... :D
  13. Those webisodes are SO truly amazing! :cheesy::heart: They made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and all that! :) I especially loved all those hilarious moments such as that first tape (What was it called? "The Yoghurt vs. Yoghurt Debate"? Oh dear. :laugh3:) and some older photos of the boys. :D But will those webisodes be on the DVDs as well or not? I got a bit confused now, I must say... Bianca, omg, where did you find those two gems?! :stunned: What a great great find! :) Although I must say they sound pretty weird to my ears because of the lyrics... Creates a kind of strange feeling, I don't know. ;) On the other hand, they indicate how much their music has "grown" in the meanwhile (if that makes any sense). :)
  14. Hey there Giulia! I AM Mary?! :stunned: I mean, I'm flattered by those words, I really am, but ehm... I can't see that many similarities between her (or him?) and me... :inquisitive: Seriously, my legs aren't even half as gorgeous as hers (or his? :P)... I really wish I had such legs, though. :wideeyed: Oh dear.

  19. Aww, I'm sorry to hear that... :( I hope you'll have a great time in Dublin and that you'll get to distract yourself with nicer things! See you! :) Would love to go to Dublin now, too... I'm kind of longing for the faraway at the moment anyway... Well, it's less than a month until I'll be heading to London, so yeah, I guess I'll survive until then.
  20. Oh my, she's so stunningly beautiful! :stunned: That coat's awesome, but I have to say that I love the way that her hair's been done even more! :wideeyed:
  21. Hey everyone, just thought I might show Bianca's thread some loving as well! :D Bernard, that was a very nice idea indeed! ;)
