  1. Hi Nancy! Dinner and hanging out with girls is great! Viva La Vida! Haha :P I've had a good day. I've had classics (? You know, ancient Greece and Rome - Chris Martin's major), English and biology. The classics lecture was okay; I got to say some stuff. English class was great. Biology was boring and I don't understand or remember half of it. Home now, my big sister and her boyfriend have arrived here from Copenhagen. :) I'm trying to get some homework done. I know! :awesome: I'll be of age! :D We'll have family coming over for dinner on my birthday. :nice: My siblings are coming home today. Whose have I missed in my absence? :( Bye Christa and Antonia.
  2. Antonia! Sounds great! I'm good! Finally weekend - such a relief! Lots of homework though. I need sleep. :P I had a great vacation last week. I got my room rearranged with new curtains a lamp, I've thrown lots of stuff out etc. :D I might post a picture when I've gotten my Coldplay posters on the walls, framed. What have people been up to? I haven't been here in a loooong time! Anything big and new? I can see that Cooky is in Argentina! So exciting!
  3. That doesn't sound too good. What happened? I hope it goes well at the doctor. I'm drowning in homework. :uhoh: Otherwise fine. :nice: I'm tired right now though, because I stayed up too late. :dozey:
  4. :curtain: Hello. How is everyone? :nice:
  5. Voted. :nice: There are many good ones! Thanks Karen. :) Oh my goodness... :stunned: What IS that?! :freak:
  6. My history teacher just mentioned Frida Kahlo! :awesome:
  7. I really like the place, so that must be a yes! :D I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad you found Coldplay though. :)
  8. I was hoping for a 2010 release, but this doesn't really surprise me. I don't understand why EMI feel they need to say something already though.  I agree. You have a very good point, Carrie. That was what I thought too, I really agree! Haha!
  9. Aha! Thanks! :) They probably don't accept if I just write "on Saturday, but in '92". :P
  10. Thanks for telling Antonia. I'm voting right now. Although I have no idea who to vote for 2nd and 3rd. Probably a stupid question, but what does DOB mean? :uhoh:
  11. :awesome: Something similar... I've told it before, but the very first day I ate in the canteen of my high school, the whole "X&Y" album was put on LOUDLY blasting out the speakers and I was thinking "I'm feel that I'm going to really like this place. :smug:". :D
  12. Haha, look what it says in WikiColdplay under Radiohead http://wiki.coldplaying.com/index.php/Radiohead: "Radiohead are just another band." End of story. I wonder who wrote that. :)
  13. ^That's awesome in a way... A question in the Danish version of "Who wants to be a millionaire?" was just "What is the front name of the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, born in 2004?" :cheesy: There were to people playing together. The guy was really sure that the answer was Apple, but the silly woman got him in doubt... :dozey: He said he had read it randomly somewhere. He convinced her to answer Apple after all. :) (He thought her name was Apple Fiona Martin  I didn't understand how he got that idea, but it must come from the singer Fiona Apple... :P)
  14. I love this! That was the funniest interview intro they've made so far, I think! :laugh4:  I laughed so hard by myself in my room. My mum had to see what I was laughing at and got caught by it and watched it too. :P The whole interview was hilarious in general (really!! :laugh4: I could mention a lot of things, but you already have and know what I talk about) and some interesting stuff came up - for example what kind of vegetarian Chris is. I'm actually in that video. :awesome: They used clips from the video Roadie #42 made from the Bergen and the Herning gig. :D Chris is so gorgeous... :wacky:
  15. I like the idea. :D I little too many ingredients though, I think. :uhoh: I mean, marshmellow also? How about just a strawberry icecream with chucks of fairtrade chocolate and strawberry?
  16. The show finished a couple of minutes ago... Was the Best Performance in 30 years announced? Who won? I only got to watch about 10 min. in. I never saw this award given?
  17. With which song?
  18. That was... okay. What happened with his timing? He was too early all the time. I didn't like that. I like the effect of television though!! On iTunes for DK Viva La Vida is #6 in the top charts for songs! Coldplay are in the top 200 with 4 songs! Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends is #10 in the top album charts! :D I miss Coldplay or Chris Martin in your avi and signature.
  19. @milesahead89 Wow, that's awesome!!! :shocked2: You are so lucky! :D Aww, I'd wish I had met one of them or saw movement there... I only saw a black car. :\ I'm really happy for you! :nice:
  20. Haha! Happy belated pornstache day! :awesome:
  21. Haha Amy, you've done it again, haven't you? :P Congrats on getting another one of your questions answered!. :nice: What number is this... 4 or 5? The Oracle loves your questions apparently.
  22. :curtain: Have you forgotten about me? :uhoh: I'm not dead or anything... :shy: I'm just quickly stopping by to say that I have vacation next week, so even though I have a lot to do, I will try to catch up with you guys sometime then. :) I hope that you're all doing great! Talk to you later. Lots of love, Julie.
  23. I didn't know either. Is it real? Wouldn't it be on Oxfam's eBay and announced on coldplay.com if it was real? I mean, why do it differently now? I envy you! That sounds awesome. :nice: Now... is he cute? :wink3: A guy in my French class was dissing Coldplay the other day, when he saw a Coldplay sticker on my laptop and got to know that I'm a fan. He said something about them "not even being rock, but pop", something like that. I didn't really know what to say in the moment. I said something like that he doesn't know anything about that... My best friend wasn't exactly supportive, she had to say at that moment that she doesn't get anything out of Coldplay, that they don't appeal to her, as if anyone asked for her opinion. :dozey: Another girl in my class said she likes some of their songs, which is good. :) That was all the defence of Coldplay I got though. :\
  24. I have quite a few recent and old CP thoughts to share, please read. I was on a Danish website today and saw a quiz entitled "Can you guess the band" saying "We have blurred the singer of 10 famous bands. Can you guess who they are?" I thought I'd try it (because maybe Coldplay would be there?). Coldplay was the answer to the first question! :D The facts in the questions are wrong though, it says: "You certainly know this British band, which has six best-selling albums on the conscience. Who are they?" Look here: http://testdigselv.dk.msn.com/Mand%5Cband%5CTest.aspx One evening Speed of Sound was in the radio. This song is very special to me, it made me a Coldplay fan. Hearing it in the radio made me very happy and brought up a lot of nostalgia up in me both from hearing the song for the first time and being at my first Coldplay concert (where it was played etc.). Opposite to the bus stop near school there is a bakery (:awesome:). It's across the street and I usually never look in the window, but one day I coincidentally saw that the digital number/queue display showed 42!!! :stunned: I was lurking (:uhoh:) the facebook profile of a guy from school and saw several Coldplay lyrics quotes in his statuses. :awesome: It seemed like We Never Change is a favourite. "We never change, do we?", "I wanna live life and never be cruel/ I wanna live life and be good to you" - Coldplay but also "Look at the stars [...] you do" - Coldplay were to find in his statuses. Lyrics by others artists too, but I saw a pattern here. I listened to that one today! I get goosebumps too sometimes. I get tears in my eyes every friggin time I listen to it, mostly by the chorus. I love that song. It's incredibly beautiful. Edit: I almost forgot! At a big party I entered recently the DJs put Viva La Vida on! :wacky: The whole song (with just a bit of remixing)! I tried to pull my friend to the dance floor, but she didn't really get what I wanted, so I stood there by myself in the crowd, danced, sang along and wandered around looking goofy. :P People sang along, especially to the "oooh"s. :D
  25. Carrie!! Congratulations on receiving the globe, I'm happy for you. :nice: Thank you for all the pictures. Awesome!!! The picture of it spinning turned out even better than I expected! It's beautiful. I figured. :P I'm glad you did it.
