My style is very energetic yet I can be mellow too, I would say my style has been shaped mostly by John Frusciante, I love his style but when I write it's kind of different too you know?, my wallet is pretty deep when it comes to instruments, I was thinking of either the Joe Strummer Tele or the Billy Corgan Strat, I've never changed any pickups in my guitars, mostly because I love the sound of my Strat and Jag how they are and if I want to make them sound different I do it with effects, then I have The VG Strat which can be altered at the turn of a knob, good luck with finding your way with your sound by the way:D

Can I just say it's really great to talk to other people who love thier playing and thier equipment as much as I do:D Can I ask you guys, I've been thinking of getting another guitar and was thinking about maybe getting one of the artist models, do you think I should or just get something else and customize it?.

Why is it that some people never see shades of grey only black and white?, south Ossetia had a huge amount of Russian citizens in it, the Georgian army attacked and the Russian army came to thier aide perhaps a little heavy handedly but overall I think they were justified to react, The US have not tolerated acts of agression against thier citizens in the past, why should it be one rule for them and another for everyone else.Putin must be doing something right because a great many Russians seem to like him and the country is economically resurgent, this is my view as a half English, half American, I can manage to be unbiased towards Gerogia I don't know why some others can't see theres more than 1 side to this story.

As I've stated before I'm not at all a fan of Coldplays music but after reading up on Jons effects on here I don't think his are particularly complicated, the Edge is a different matter, mine seem to keep growing now it's funny when I started guitar may years ago(after hating being forced to play piano) I always said to myself I would try and be a pretty clean player and I've ended up as a complete box stomper:laugh3: I think I could make do with far less than 250 guitars if I was a player on his level!!, that said all of mine would be vintage apart from a VG Strat which since I've had I thinks a brilliant invention.

Do you think Russia would take the UK seriously?, they didn't over Litvenkos killers and the diplomatic fallout there, Russia doesn't view us as a superpower and rightly so as really were not-more a bad joke really, our military are overstretched, underfunded and badly treated it's a disgrace that the current government treats the brave men and women who fight for our country with such contempt. Personally I agree with Russia on the situation with Georgia, they are protecting Russian citizens and some of thier peacekeepers were killed, Georgia are pretty idiotic to pick a fight with a country like Russia in my opinion.

I don't bash them as such I just say personally I'm not into thier music at all, for me strong guitar is a vital element in rock which is something Coldplay lack, Buckland isn't a great player in my view but don't take this to mean he's without talent because I'm not saying that, his style suits the band and thier style as a band works-look how many fans they have, I do like softer more emotional songs too, in fact I have a very broad musucal taste but Coldplay just don't fit in it anywhere, that said Oasis doesn't really either, my favourite song they've done I think would have to be Supersonic.

What do you use for distortion?, i use a Big Muff pi and Boss DS-2:D

I don't like Coldplays music, doesn't mean I would hate them as people or have any opinion of thier fans, if people like thier music thats fine it's thier choice good luck to them and I hope they enjoy it , just don't be expecting me to drag me to any Coldplay concerts soon:P
