  12. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081009/ap_en_mu/odd_symphonic_justice Thu Oct 9, 10:18 AM ET URBANA, Ohio - A defendant had a hard time facing the music. Andrew Vactor was facing a $150 fine for playing rap music too loudly on his car stereo in July. But a judge offered to reduce that to $35 if Vactor spent 20 hours listening to classical music by the likes of Bach, Beethoven and Chopin. Vactor, 24, lasted only about 15 minutes, a probation officer said. It wasn't the music, Vactor said, he just needed to be at practice with the rest of the Urbana University basketball team. "I didn't have the time to deal with that," he said. "I just decided to pay the fine." Champaign County Municipal Court Judge Susan Fornof-Lippencott says the idea was to force Vactor to listen to something he might not prefer, just as other people had no choice but to listen to his loud rap music. "I think a lot of people don't like to be forced to listen to music," she said. She's also taped TV shows for defendants in other cases to watch on topics such as financial responsibility. As she sees it, they get the chance to have their fine reduced "and at the same time broaden their horizons."
  13. I saw them in August. Best show of my life, probably. I took three videos but my youtube account is all weird so only one is working now. It's annoying because I also got There There and Optimistic. I'm getting a new account soon but still, here's the one that exists still. It's All I Need: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RNdIRmEecU]YouTube - "All I Need" by Radiohead, Tweeter Center, 8/13/08[/ame]
  14. Ah, Jason Mraz. I got Waiting for My Rocket to Come after hearing the Remedy a long time ago. The whole album is pretty chill though I haven't really listened to it in a while.

I own people with "that's what she said" whenever I can. When talking about a stop sign while driving with my friend to school yesterday, I actually said, "I wouldn't blow that thing, it's too big." It was so obvious that we didn't even do anything but laugh.
  17. 7-10 depending on where in England it is...
  18. It's really good but I wouldn't consider myself obsessed with it. What's your favorite Thanksgiving food?
  19. Space Cadet, facebook isn't stupid, the people who take it seriously and don't actually have social lives outside of it are stupid. It's a good way to find whoever you need to talk to since almost everyone has one. It's not meant to capture the real personalities of people - it's meant for asking someone when something in class is due, checking a phone number if you don't know, looking into a friend's top artists, or showing off your best photos. Basically, facebook is the iPhone of the internet - it has everything you need pretty much all in one place. Just because people misuse facebook doesn't make facebook itself suck, it makes the people suck.
  20. I'd jokingly be like "Dayumm yer a tool, legit." I mean, music is opinion-based. Lots of people don't like Coldplay. I feel that music can be very trendy. Coldplay is officially "gay" because someone said so in a movie, and then someone else spread it, and then it became an epidemic pretty much overnight. "His voice is so high and he likes it up the butt." Actually all four members are married, but you know, you can go ahead and keep being a dumbshit. I never completely ignore people if they like what I think is crap, though I am often guilty of putting labels on music and sometimes judging people through their tastes. Because like I said, it's all trendy and opinion-based. It happens to the best of us.
  21. Haha yeah I don't wear those anymore. That was from two months ago.
