  1. Oh that's so great when you have someone you know who is into the same music AND likes to go to concerts! I'm so addicted... My friends are just calculating all the time how much money I spend etc. It's so frustrating when they just don't get it. I told my friend in Cologne about the awesome time we had in London and she was just like "WTF, you spend time with strangers from the internet???" :dozey: But on the other side I don't get what is so great about getting drunk every weekend and go to the same club EVERY weekend and still saying how great that is...
  2. :D Haha, I just happen to meet ppl every time who are great to spend time with so it's not that "hard" to wait in the cold afterwards :) It was so funny, we were shaking because of the cold when we were taking the pictures and Jack the drummer admitted he was a bit drunk when he came outside so M. helped him close his coat!! This one is one of my favourites because Harry looked straight into the camera: :wacky: About the Muse tickets: Perrine and me have our tickets but I have a friend who really wants to see them... and Perrine found another person with a ticket so we hoped it would arrive today but it didn't :( I have to tell her the bad news later... but she already said she wants to drive with me anyways if it doesn't work and try to get a ticket at the venue.
  3. And it was so great that I met this girl from Greece! I just said that my car is parked near the train station - she said her hotel is there too so we said we'd walk back together... in the end I had parked my car literally directly in front of her hotel!! We laughed so much. What a funny coincidence! Her hotel was opposite the place where my friend lives! :stunned:
  4. Hi Noelia! So when they came on stage and the first notes of "Farewell to the Fairground" started everybody went nuts! It was like every single person in the room knew the lyrics!! We were all singing and dancing and jumping and having a great time and you could see that the band liked it a lot as well. The made us sing parts of songs on our own and you could see Harry smile so much!!! I talked to one of the roadies and he said that Wembley was a great time. Was his first time to fly in a helicopter :) So afterwards we waited and they came outside! They weren't in a rush, so cute, talking to us and taking their time, posing for pics with us!! They said they saw the ppl in the yellow shirts as well! We talked about Jay-Z and loads of other things... They will start writing and recording again in about Feb / March!!
  5. Oh it was just awesome, can't find words! Everything worked out perfectly yesterday. I visited a friend who lives just around the corner of the venue, could park my car right at his door (which is lucky in ton centre). Then when I arrived there were 3 ppl from Belgium, 2 Scottish girls and a Greek girl. Had a nice conversation so time passed quickly until we went inside... Did you see my pictures already? CLICK! It was a really small place but the atmosphere was amazing!
  6. Good morning Chavi!! How are you? I'm still tired, didn't get home until 2:30am but it was sooooo worth it! That Halloween theme is so strange! I'm so used to the blue background colour!
  7. Hi! I found them accidentally on a website. Absolute Radio had a competition where you could win a trip in Coldplay's jet and go to see the concert in Munich. So this picture is from 26 September 2008. Here is the thread with the pictures: CLICK Here is the documentary: CLICK
  8. Hi Emma! What do you mean? The pics are still there: and others are in the High-res Coldplay pics thread...
  9. :sneakyjoe:  I really have to get away from the PC now before I wake up completely again and can't sleep anymore... would love to talk to you now!! Have a nice evening!!
  10. To the beat of "Don't stop me now"?? :laugh3: (James McAvoy's favourite song ) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ0gSbcG1FI]YouTube - Shaun of the Dead Dont Stop Me Now[/ame] Aww, you have a ZombAid shirt!!! I was watching the movie a few days ago again because I was so sad that I finished watching all the "Spaced" episodes!!! Can't wait for "What is Paul"... Did you see Simon and Nick are on BBC1 on Sunday morning? Ok *adds NYC with Chavi on travel plans list* Yes, I'm mushy and proud of it!!
  11. Yeah! :awesome: She sent me the best text message a week ago and made me miss the last 5 mins of the movie I was watching because I couldn't concentrate anymore after reading the news! I was trying to get tickets since June or July I think it was... Can't wait!! We'll try our best to bring back some goodies! :) Night night!
  12. Oh and at the risk of being called mushy again: It won't be the same without you!! :bigcry:
  13. Yes, and she's taking me with her!!!!
  14. :curtain: So sorry I didn't really participate in the chatter today :( I feel like a zombie! That late nap certainly wasn't good... I'm going to bed so I'll be in good shape for Little Harry & co tomorrow (:uhoh: they're so young!!) LET'S GROW OLD TOGETHERRRRRRR    Before that I'll visit a friend in his new flat just around the corner of the venue!! Oh and Muse is a go - Perrine received the tickets! So... have a great time everybody, I'll be back soon :) Chavi, let's invade NYC together!!
  15. :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:
  16. There are two videos with highlights from the concerts. http://www.youtube.com/user/BridgeSchooler Chris is in part 2, at about 2:27mins into the video: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdeKZPd1Bhk]YouTube - 2009 Bridge School Concert Highlights Part 2[/ame] Hope this hasn't been posted already... I'm a little confused today.
  17. Hi everybody! I'm back from Cologne! It was a great time there... Now I REALLY NEED to relax on the couch, just wanted to say that I'm back and everything went fine. :) I didn't stop at Frank's workplace, I had other people in the car (to share petrol costs) so it wasn't the right time to do so. I wrote a few words in the Kasabian thread here. So yeah, the way to Cologne wasn't that pleasant but the day had a happy end  I'll come online later again... maybe see you then! Big
  18. Hi! I'm back home from my trip to Cologne to see Kasabian!! On the way there I felt sick again... it's getting annoying  but one of the guys I took with me to share petrol costs continued driving while I was shaking on the passenger seat. Later in the day I was worried if I would be fine during the gig but luckily I was!! I arrived shortly before the doors opened and there was a long queue in front of me so I thought my chances to get to the front = zero. But guess what? These people went to the bar first  So I was in 2nd row and met some very nice people :nice: 4 Oasis fans from Germany, Ireland and Finland who are seeing Kasabian tonight again! Before the band came on stage there was a DJ playing songs - I think he was more a comedian  Nobody really knew what to think about him! (But he was cute :uhoh:) Kimmi, I took this pic for you: The roadie wore a MTV World Stage Malaysia shirt! Here is the setlist: I had a great time! Take Aim was one of the many highlights. I couldn't enjoy Fire so much because there were loads of drunk guys pushing behind us... one of them particularly got on my nerves because he wasn't just doing for fun but to annoy people. :dozey: Vlad was such a great great great encore    The entire flickr album is here. My favourite pics: (Wow, Serge  has looooooong legs!! :wink3:) I'm too tired to write a full review - let me just say that I had a really great time!! Maybe I'll write more later... at the moment I just want to rest a little before I go to the next concert tomorrow )
  19. Oh that sounds great!! Do you want to make a longer trip out of it? San Sebastian and Barcelona are great cities as well.   Una fiesta!! :awesome: Oh my, time is flying here as always... I should go to bed and try to sleep. Camera is charged. Bag packed. Good music on the USB stick for my car radio. (The two guys I'm taking with me in the car will have to live with my music choices :P) EDIT: Hi Lore!!! :nice: I've seen it as well, it's hilarious! See you again on Thursday!  (Oh it'll take some time to catch up here :bomb:)
  20. Thanks! I just quickly listened to parts of Fools and Fire Escape and I like it! It's the perfect music for Sundays at work :) Do you like /know Corinne Bailey Rae, Nils Landgren, India Arie.. oh there are so many! :dizzy: And completely random... I love this song: Alex Valentine - Sunshine I have two of his albums. Discovered him by accident some time ago.
  21. Oh you intend to go there? Do you know when? I've been there for one day only in 2003 as a stop on my InterRail trip trough Spain and Portugal. It was the hottest August for aaaaages and we could only walk trough town after the sunset because it was a little cooler then. Have you been there before? So many questions, sorry! Btw, you look lovely in the pic you posted with the Scrubs-band (sorry, name escaped me)!!
  22. Perdon!! Joe habla espanol tambien? :stunned:
  23. Bye Steph! Come back soon, please! :uhoh: That's what Pete said to me in London as well... hope that's not a bad thing :) Nice to meet you too! Who is that in your avatar? Bye :sneakyjoe:! Have a nice evening!!
  24. You are such a nice and rare edition of the male species! Aww, that's so nice! I warn you, I might actually do it! Come to London as well!!! Well, it depends, but most of the time you're definitely right!
  25. That's good to hear! Mushy? Haha, I like that word :laugh3: Yay, younger men rock, Joe + Noe  @Chavi: Sure!! Sevilla, right? I have a date in London in July with Noelia though! And it's incredibly hot there in the summer... so I could come in the spring and try my crappy Spanish :P @Noelia: you're here :) Have a nice shift! Of course, I'll be back here Thursday!
