  1. OMG I'd be too scared to be on that pillar, and it's even turning around! :stunned: Those lights must be hot as well. I posted the link in the Muse thread, here it is: http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/player/7387/q_awards_2009.html
  2. Aww Lore, no need to apologise!!!! Did you watch that Absolute Radio Interview? Matt is watching Dom while he's speaking... he looks as if Dom was speaking in a language he doesn't understand  And Lady Gaga? :wtf:
  3. Hola!! Yes, my boss is back and only on the last day I gave up... or more my stomach... and I had to stay at home. But I'm better now. Sorry for the spamming! :uhoh: But I can't stop trying to convince you all: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZSih1yJTbc]YouTube - Spaced - Pump Up The Jam[/ame] I saw Lore's and your tweets, glad you had such a good time watching the concert!! Now hurry up and please come back for a little before you go to work!!
  4. HAha, thanks! :nice: I made it with screenshots which I added together to a gif when I joined the board. That time I didn't know how to make them with GIMP so I took the long way with the screenshots :embarassed: I haven't changed it since and don't intend to. :) Everything about that Christmas Message is great. When I came home from my first CP concert last September I went on the internet and spent my night on CP.com (reading the entire timeline) and youtube. The Christmas Message was one of the first videos I watched  And I still have the sound as a ringtone on my mobile for some friends! :laugh3:
  5. Oh I've had loads of those this year... Maybe this helps lightening your mood: Tim was sad as well, until he remembered something  [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW0LF3G8ofI]YouTube - Jaffa Cakes[/ame]
  6. Absolute Radio interview before the Q Awards: http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/player/7387/q_awards_2009.html
  7. Hi! --> The Tonight Show with Jay Leno 17/07/2008 Here's a video: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMsW-2bBdeQ]YouTube - Chris from coldplay at Tonight Show[/ame] I posted the link to the interview where the gif is from at the beginning of this page.
  8. :stunned::stunned::stunned: Ok... then good luck getting that sorted in the next 24 hours!! But I'm sure it'll be possible to participate even though you can't tell your address yet!
  9. Oh ok, because in this pic it looks as if there were stairs:
  10. Thanks!! Feeling better, drank tea all day and my stomach isn't talking to me anymore :) Did you have a good start into the week?
  11. That made me laugh out loud - alone in my room!:lol::lol: Chris, just send the PM now and let the elves do their work, you don't need to be able to speak to type your address! :whip:
  12. Good evening Antonia!! Rania, you were so close! Love your pics. Are there stairs inside the pillars??
  13. Aww, I'm sorry. Too much "Hakuna Matata", eh? Your avatar is great. GIFs FTW :D Imke, it's a big difference. Düsseldorf was a good concert but the crowd was rather lame. 11 days later in Paris it was a real party. Not a single moment of silence in the crowd, cheering and applause until the next song started... In Düsseldorf there was a short pause between two songs and guess what? The arena was silent. :stunned: There's a reason R#42 said that Paris was a great concert! It was the same at the Main Square Festival. But then I only went to one concert in Germany (3 in France and 4 in the UK)
  14. Yes, it's in France! Out of the CP concerts I went to the French crowd was the best.
  15. Thank you Rania, that's good to know. I thought about arriving about 2 hours before as well. Hi Imke!! How are you? (Looking forward to Wed I suppose :) So do I, but for Kasabian!! Who just won Best Album at the Q Awards btw ) Perrine found two tickets on a French Muse Forum... looks as if we'll be going but I won't start to  and really believe it until I hear from Perrine that she has the tickets in her hands...
  16. Hi Chris and Rania!! :nice: Chris, how's the podcast coming together? I saw your tweet, can't wait to listen!! Rania, that sounds great. I really really want to hear the songs you listed live... and Starlight. Looking forward to see your pics! What time did you go there to get into 6th row??
  17. Thanks for posting the news, Ian!! If all goes well I'll see three of the winners this week
  18. ...aaaand "Best Album" for Kasabian at the Q Awards! I'm happy for them. And I'm so looking forward to see them in just 2 days!!
  19. "Best New Act" for White Lies at the Q Awards!!!
  20. Hey! I had a look through the pictures on LIFE.com last night... Have a nice day everybody!
  21. October 26, 2009 - submitted by Louise, Denmark Q. Who is J? The Oracle replies: There are 2 people whom Chris refers to as J. Jonny Buckland and Jay Z so it will be either of those depending on where you heard him say it...
  22. October 26, 2009 - submitted by Will, Australia Q. Hello Oracle, I was wondering did Coldplay ever make a song or sing lyrics along the lines of "There she goes, there she goes again, right back round the bend?" I heard it on a horse racing ad in Australia and it sounded like Coldplay. Thanks The Oracle replies: I would imagine the song you're looking for is There She Goes by The La's. The lyric is There she goes, there she goes again, racing through my brain... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvPm0-tIQk0]YouTube - The La's- There She goes[/ame]
  23. October 26, 2009 - submitted by Evey, United States of America Q. Hello Sir Oracle, What would be a good song to sing to myself on my birthday? Besides "Happy Birthday"... I find that song overused and dull. The Oracle replies: Although that's the traditional song sung on birthdays there are other tracks out there with that title that you could sing to yourself. Maybe try Stevie Wonder's or Altered Images' songs.
