Seems like they don't want to fill up their hotel for only two nights at this weekend: When you only want two nights - it says there are no rooms. (Fir-Sun) When you want to stay until Monday there ARE rooms available!!

Thanks! I read about that program but wasn't sure if it is harmful for my PC or not... Malú is in that concert DVD as well :) Just listened to the record on youtube and I prefer the live version! And to all that CP South American tour thing: Do you remember those acoustic sessions at the end of January? Chris listed a lot of countries, S-Am as well and the others have been announced later... So I think they will announce dates for South America as well...

I bought his album when it came out! (That's some years now as well... I AM OLD!!! :o) But unfortunately since that Spanish course ended I didn't really come into contact with the Spanish language anymore so I just listen to Mana, Celia Cruz and some others from time to time... I can understand alright I think but speaking is hard. The English words always come first to my mind!! I like "En el muelle de san blas" [ame= ] [/ame] Can you give me other tips for good Spanish music?

A Thread for the beautiful Lore
Good luck!! See, I'm not up to date :laugh3: When I did a Spanish language course at Uni some years ago I first heard about him. I got his Live concerts DVD for really cheap and I was practising my Spanish in singing to his songs and translating them and so on. Was a more fun way than just learning vocabulary... I was just thinking about that time and was curious what you think about him. I don't know the records, just the Live DVD. And Lore, what program are you using to rip all those not cached embedded swf files? (Like the MTV World Stage video for example) I'm trying to do that forever now - no success!! Have a nice day everybody!!

Does the trip from Portugal to UK, to see Coldplay, worths?
Ok, I don't understand completely what has been said before :) But don't take a cab from the airport to Wembley! I don't want to imagine the costs... Take a "Terravision Bus" to Liverpool Street (14 GBP for the return ticket) From there take the Metropolitan line to Wembley. --> Tube map The bus stops right in front of the tube station. The journey from Stansted to Liverpool Street takes 55 minutes, the tube ride about half an hour. This should be the cheapest and fastest way from Stansted Airport to Wembley. And it's definitely worth going!!! (The others said that before, that's as much as I could understand :D) Hope you decide to go!

... and finally "Viva La Vida": [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KM0qZ-sZ4Vs]Viva La Vida[/ame] At the end there's also Chris saying his often-quoted sentence "It's been a s*** day, frankly" and then introducing Gary Barlow.

American Idol Contestant performs 'Viva La Vida'
I couldn't listen to it until the end. For both. Horrible, indeed. And Will's heavy drumming was missing. :) They have a live band playing with the singers, right? I know it's about the singer's performance, but the music was just too quiet.

My edited video of "Back for good" is uploaded!!! I took bello-lo's sound of her video and added it to my video, then it cuts back to my original sound. (Thanks for your permission!!) Double-click, watch in high quality and enjoy!! :) (widescreen ratio) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eayIR6jAHs]Back For Good[/ame] I did the same with "All these things" and "Viva La Vida" from errette's videos - those are still uploading.

I hate to see myself on a video! :\ And "Fix You" got me all emotional... That day I was already overchallenged to be honest  My field of vision was concentrated on the stage most of the time but I looked around me a few times and saw the people standing behind us... Maybe it was him: *click* :laugh3::laugh3: Don't know, but I feel like my head must have been really annoying most of the time! The whole concert I didn't really pay attention to what was going on behind me. Even when Chris said "Look here's *insert celebrity name*" I didn't turn around... Only once during "VLV" though to see how the crowd went crazy doing the "ooooohh's"!

pseudonym.
I would choose (what a surprise) Sue de Nimes! It's taken from the movie "Bright Young Things". An author doesn't want to publish his novel under his real name so chooses the name "Sue de Nimes" because of the likeness (pronounciation-wise) to the word "pseudonym". Speaking of pseudonyms, do you know these "What's your gangsta / pirate / porn star etc. name?" sites? Well, that was funny some years ago  I was just reminded of that...

Wembley/Other venues CCC clothing designs [2009]
Jen, can you please add that there are more options on spreadshirt? Beginning with adjustment of the size of the print to a "personalise" option for each customer to add something personal like the board name? The options on cafepress are really poor compared to spreadshirt. When you add a design on spreadshirt there are far more and better editing features!!!

Wembley/Other venues CCC clothing designs [2009]
Jen found out about spreadshirt.com, the US site! So Jen and Ian would end up having 2 shops if they choose it - one for Europe, one for rest of the world! Great for saving shipping costs and the environment in my opinion. And I really love the spreadshirt site. A friend actually recommended it to me when I told him that a cafepress shirt would have to be shipped from the US. I prefer the intense shade of yellow they have, not the pale one that cafepress has. Intense yellow is easier to spot and more attention-attracting (AND we could all personalise it as well). So many people will see us wearing the shirts who probably never heard of coldplaying - having the best appearance to "advertise" this forum should be a point of consideration as well in my opinion. Ok, now I def. sound like I work for them :laugh3: And the second part... well, I think it's the language barrier... I don't know if I understood you correctly. Do you mean there should only be a shirt for the Wembley gig and not for others?

Post pictures of the gorgeous Chris
I can't put into words what this picture does to me. I won't try, I'll just say this: Thank you so much for posting it. :dead: Thanks for that one, too. I love men in suits... This is probably the closest thing to a suit he ever wore when a picture was taken...
