Hi Rick too!! I'm fine! I was so tired all day but somehow managed to stay awake to watch the Oscars... I work at a cinema and am so happy that so many of the movies our little independent cinema shows / will show won!! I'll go to bed now however, it's almost 6am!!! So happy for Sean! Milk is such a great movie. I was on this "high" from the War Child gig and I didn't think it would have been possible, but this movie got me so down. I was so into it... completely forgot everything else. :dance:

Kate won!!! :dance: I'm so happy! Didn't see "The Reader" yet, but she was so great in "Revolutionary Road"! I'm crossing my fingers for Sean and Mickey now...

I only counted 6?? I'm so happy for it as well. It's a great movie and we'll be showing it in March in the cinema! Loads of people will be coming... and loads of popcorn will end on the floor :lol:

I love that song from Slumdog Millionaire!! We have the soundtrack in the cinema and I always have to dance when it's on :) Yay, it won!!!!!!!!!! :dance:

Ok, that's actually a good time then! It's almost 4am here and I'm still watching! I really like them this year! And I'm crossing my fingers for Slumdog, Milk (and Revolutionary Road). Well, the Wrestler was great as well. :thinking: Do you think Kate will win best actress? I hope so... and if not - well, then hopefully not Angelina but Meryl...

And you were still close to the stage - perfect. Well, we don't live that far from each other! That's what I thought as well. The first win is already good. We're still showing "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" in the cinema I work at... means even more people coming to see it now! Slumdog hopefully will be a huge hit in Germany as well. Starts next month here.

Funny! :) Have to confess I was a bit mad when I saw how cheap the album was in GB, I paid 17 Euros for it in Germany!! You saw their concert, right? Was it then that you started to like them so much or even before already?

The DJs played "Mykonos" while we were waiting for the War Child concert to begin!!! :dance: Loved to hear it there as well.
