The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Sorry I didn't clarify... the setlist and fingernails belong to Stef (einafets on muse.mu)!! I wouldn't want to have missed either one to be honest! Although I am not totally fascinated by NSC it was cool to have heard it live, it worked I gotta say! And we had IBTY on the Fri which was nice as well. If I'd have had the energy on Sat that I had on Fri, the Sat would have been perfect... but like I said for the first 3 songs I wasn't really present. :disappointed: Oh and YES, Tom is a cutie! :wacky:

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
So, second night! We had a blast during White Lies, soooo good to have seen them again! They played new songs... in a way that was nice but the older ones might have worked better, everyone was so into songs like Fairwell To The Fairground! I got GRRRRREAT pics of Harry!!! Perrine, don't worry, I'll post them all for you in the WL thread   Just before Muse were about to go on stage I felt like I won't survive the gig. I was considering to get myself carried away by security and go to a seat even. I have no memory at all that they were playing SMBH. :stunned: So for the first 3 songs I was just physically present... but then the adrenaline was stronger than my pains and I had the time of my life!! :bomb: :awesome: Here are just the Muse pics for now: Again, I didn't take many pics because I was just busy stretching my arms into the air and singing and trying to survive the pressure from behind. I did a little video which is completely blurry. Might upload it to youtube just for the fun of it to show you why it was almost impossible to get sharp pics! DomBum :bomb: Matt-the-walking-disco-ball was sexy as hell, I didn't know which one to look at, Dom in his shiny tight suit or Matteh. :laugh4: So many more little details to tell but I need to hurry up, sorry! Best part of the concerts however was that Imke was with me. It's great when you meet someone that you instantly get on with and you can share all those things with instead of just internally bursting of happiness. Byyyyye for now!

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Hey everyone! Just a quick post because I'm leaving for a work trip in a few hours and I didn't pack yet. :uhoh: I'll quickly post my pics to be done with it, uploading them from the hotel won't be that easy I suppose... So Imke and me made it to the barrier TWICE! :bomb: How awesome is that? Still can't believe that everything worked out the way we had hoped... (ok, even better haha) So the first night we were on the side of the middle ramp, close to the stage but not soooo close that we'd end up with a stiff neck afterwards. The gig was amazing and we had a great time before as well. There was the cutest security woman in front of us. She came to me and said "I may have to move you..." and I was like :wtf: but then she added "because you're singing and dancing and I mustn't but I want to sing as well and it's unbearable that I have to look at you all the time!". :laugh4: Aww, she was the best. She was really taking care of us and said we just need to tell her if we're being pushed! Then she wondered why we have Christa's flashing glasses on and I said she'll see it later. She wasn't allowed to look at the stage though so I waved her to me when Matt was wearing the LED suit and glasses and said "Pretend to talk to me and look to the right!" and so she could see the stage for a little while... Anyways, what am I talking about? I just felt like I need to mention it because she added to the aweseome atmosphere as well. Here are the pics from the first night: (I didn't take many, was too busy dancing and singing... There'll be better shots from the press anyways, right?) I know that those are all of Dommeh... :shame: Imke has the good Matteh pics, don't worry, but I've got one as well: This is us on the barrier: Afterwards we got our tickets signed by Tom Kirk!!!!

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
September 8, 2010 - submitted by Andres, Mexico Q. Hello Oracle! Do you know where can I find/download/buy/anything a version with better audio quality of this song? I tried everywhere I could think of... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjTY-Bv2SQM]YouTube- War Child - Bono, The Killers & Coldplay - All These Things That I've Done[/ame] The Oracle replies: As this was a one-off charity event there's no place you can buy an audio version. It would be great if it did appear on a future War Child album of course so let's hope they're reading this... However, there are many different clips of that performance online.

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
September 8, 2010 - submitted by Aaron, United States of America Q. Dear Oracle, I am in need of your all-seeing knowledge. Recently I visited the page for Viva la Vida (the album) on Wikipedia. It said this: "Lyrically, the album is a concept album of a man's consequences to escape from London in order to marry a woman in the fictional city of Strawberry Swing, and is a musical departure from previous releases.[citation needed]" I just visited the page again and that sentence is gone; edited out. (Maybe 'citation' was never provided.) But is this sabotage, the speculation of an overeager fan, or is it at all grounded in fact? It has been driving me crazy for weeks! Thanks! Aaron The Oracle replies: Well Aaron, I can put you out of your misery by telling you that there is no truth in that sentence at all! Wikipedia is known for being a great source of encyclopaedic information yet due to how and where it derives its content, there's room for error and unfortunately quite often mistakes do appear. "Citation needed" is usually a sign that the provider of the "fact" doesn't always have the necessary access to truth to back it up. In this - and other - cases the details are incorrect.

Hahaha yes, that was unmistakable! :laugh4: Maybe EMI forgot to pay the bills. :P

Update of Coldplay Website / Hypnofeed
I'd be more excited if EMI got their servers to work properly and the site wouldn't look as if it was designed by a child with no picture editing skills. :escaping3:

Kings of Leon
I like the song, it would have worked better without that choir though. :uhoh: Doesn't sound that much like KOL, Caleb doesn't sound like Caleb if that makes any sense...

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
Coldplay.com picture uploading issues September 8, 2010 10:25 am We've having a few problems with our servers.. Good morning. As you may have noticed if you're tried (and failed) to upload any pictures to our Live Transmissions or Exhibition Room areas in the last couple of days, we're having some problems with the website's servers, which are hosted by EMI. This is also preventing us from updating the Exhibition Room itself each day. The label tell us they're doing everything they can to resolve the problems. Apologies for this - hopefully it'll be fixed soon. We'll let you know when it is. In the meantime, did you ever see the Winner of the National Student Television Association Award for Best Music Video 2006? I already wrote an email to them about this, it looks so amateurish!! Even included some edited examples of what it should look like. \anal At least the Timeline is working again! It didn't for a long time, so that's a progress already...

Yes, it's down. I hope they're replacing the badly edited picture files at least and that it's not another hack or something. EDIT: just came back on. They didn't edit them. :disappointed:

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
September 7, 2010 - submitted by Aleq, United States of America Q. Oracle! I hope you are doing well. Have you ever been to New York City with the band or at all? The Oracle replies: My NYC history goes thus: 1. A very brief stop over due to a delayed flight connection to a holiday destination many moons ago. 2. One cancelled flight 11th September 2001 (to see Coldplay who's trip was also obviously cancelled). 3. One non-Coldplay but music based trip (July 2002). 4. One trip to see Coldplay perform at both the China Club and the following night Madison Square Garden (June 2003). So yes, I have been lucky enough to go there and to also see the band perform in both a tiny venue and one of the world's most famous arenas.

September 7, 2010 - submitted by Jack, United Kingdom Q. Hi!! I have been wondering for a while...where were the pictures of the band taken on the back of Parachutes? It looks like a spot in Hull. I really want to go there! Thanks The Oracle replies: It's not Hull; it's Blackpool.
