On note!

The Classic Disney Films Thread.
I grow up during the 'Renaissance' period... I saw 'The little mermaid' at the theater when I ws about 7 or 8... I love as much old ones like 'Lady and the tramp', 'Cinderalla', 'robin hood' , "rox and rouky' etc.. as the 'renaissance' ones like THE LION KING!, Beauty and the beast... Don't like the Pixar ones....too much visual effects...don't have the 'magic' disney touch... I saw the 'Princess and the frog' recently. It's good to see Disney going back to their roots with 2D. The movie is drawn like 'old school': no computer effects, only drawing. It was beautiful! Loved it!

Pareil.

The Tudors/Henry Cavill/Michael Hirst Projects Thread
Ok girls, I've just finished to watch 'Town creek'. I spent all the movie torned between  and :laugh3: This is probably one of the shittiest horror movie ever! It's started quite well but after 15min, it turned out to a complete disaster.... The storyline is, as every horror movie, completely unbelievable but this one was shooted badly (poor CGI) that it's more comical (?) than scary! There is lot of blood and gross thing but it's more :dozey: than scary. As for Henry baby...well, our boy plays a paramedic whom brother (the guy from Prison break) is missing after returning from Irak. Turns out Prison break guy was captiv of a weird family who tortured him. He manages to escape and go get his baby brother (beloved Henry) to help him kill the family. They discover along the way a dark secret.... (includes zombies, ancient runes, nazis and dark magic). The ending is predictable but I don't see how Henry baby will manage to achieve his goal... Anyway, he looks fine in it...got some naked torso scene  but I spent all the movie wondering WHY he agrees to play in that shit?? I hope it's just an error of judgement (or an 'alimentary' movie) in his career and that he won't keep doing that kind of stuff! Now back to the Tudors! Here a new pic of Max Brown (our dear Ed Seymour)...looking goooood as always!

Florence + The Machine
WHAT?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! :stunned: His debut album (2 years ago) was n°1 in England and in a lot of countries and it's the same with his second! I was in London 2 weeks ago and this is the first pic I took on my trip descending from the subway... :D He's a scottish soul singer/songwriter. He's only 23 and an AMAZING voice, totally unique. He's acknowledge by legends like B.B King and Mick Jagger (for who he sang a duet)... Here his thread in here http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32048 But I'm sure you've heard of THIS song which was on his debut album and was a hit: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL8NGnvkpLE]YouTube- Paolo Nutini - Last Request[/ame] His first album was a mainstream but on the second (that he produced) he took control of what he wanted and did a 'soul' album and it's even better!! So???? Have you heard of him??

Florence + The Machine
Argh for the last one you added, I just saw she's in competition with Paolo Nutini (whom I worship!!) so this one is a heartbreak for me.... Hope either of the two of them win!
