activité tjs aussi intense et j'ai rencontré Gary Lightbody :awesome: dans une pizzeria de Camden (qui se trouve en face du Dublin Castle, si c'est pas le destin ça!) Le truc de fou c'est que j'allais le voir en concert le lendemain! Et la veille, je dine dans ce Pizza express avec une amie et il débarque dans le truc pour commander des pizz...l'hallu totale quoi :stunned:. J'ai pas demandé d'autographes ni de photos car je voulais pas lui foutre la honte, surtout que personne l'a calculé dans le resto mais je suis quand même allé lui dire deux mots quand il s'apprêtait à sortir et il a été ADORABLE avec moi :blush: Ce petit échange représente plus pour moi que la petite photo avec lui+autographe que j'ai pu avoir le lendemain après le concert. Mon amie a fait que de me répéter que c'était le destin XD

Ne crois pas ça...! Parfois, tu peux rencontrer tes artistes préférés dans des situations totalement improbables (et je parle d'expérience pour l'avoir vécu la semaine dernière) et ce genre de petite rencontre totalement inopinée valent plus que n'importe quel meet&greet organisé.... ;) Crois en ta bonne étoile!

It doesn't surprise me that the TP experience has boosted him! I think Peter Buck's magic touch is for sthg... I think Gary must have learnt a lot from him on his way of apprehending music. I'm really excited to see what the guys will come up with :dance: And they will also feature on a tribute album for John Martyn (along with Lisa Hannigan, The swell season and my dear Paolo Nutini *w*)

Du 1er au 23 août :) et là, direction La Réunion et l'Ile Maurice :awesome: C'est hyper calme au taf pendant les vacances, en plus mon collègue est en congés, donc il reste le boss (hahaha :dozey: ) et ma gentille collègue mais toutes les deux, on se fait un peu ch*er... Tellement que ma plus grosse activité de la journée (outre de simuler tu taf XD), ça a été de choper un papillon sur son rideau et de le relacher dehors....v.v Vivement 18h que je rentre chez moi!

Looks like a Tired Pony project 2.0....But as long as great musicians are involved, why not?! Will they surpass the former? Tired Pony set the mark pretty high... Can't wait to hear more about this! bring it on boys!

I think it has its place here. Gary from Snow Patrol wrote review and in true Gary style it's funny and witty. He's very enthousiastic http://www.snowpatrol.com/forum/default.aspx?cid=28&tid=430607 It's only coming out today in France and since I'm working, i'll only be able to see it staurday, but I've been waiting for this for sooo long, I'm excited :dance: It doesn't surprise me that Gary loved it, it echoes all those fantastic reviews of this film. I loved when he said: Think about the pitch meeting with the studio heads: “OK, I want to make a genre-humping, philosophical near 3 hour movie about dream thieves”?? Scratched heads all round… “Er, did I say there’d be explosions and Leo DiCaprio”. Ok, fair enough that may have sweetened the deal but still it’s immensely brave. :laugh3: I guess he was not that far from the truth...!
