25 songs...wow, that's a long setlist nowadays! Thx for the review! I'm glad to hear that Caleb's voice is better than ever and that the new songs are working out well live (no that I had a doubt seing part of it on YT :awesome:) Pity for Cold desert, but maybe next time you'll see them! +1 They're evolving and I'm curious to see how it will turn out as long as it doesn't affect the quality of their music. So bring it on boys!! That's just one song of the band...

The Tudors/Henry Cavill/Michael Hirst Projects Thread
Yep! And I love the irony of life: the bastard became the greatest queen of England... :D He wanted to be famous for his acts as a king, he was remember for his wives and she, on the contrary, did everything he didn't do and made England the greatest conuntry of that time! He was a womenizer and married 6 times and she never married and called herself 'the virgin queen'...I guess seeing all the disaster that marriages brought to her dad, she learnt her lesson!!. On everything, she did the total opposite! I think I'll do that too and rewatch all the seasons but for now, I'm mourning :bigcry: On the news front: They just announced the Emmy nominations. The Tudors has been nominated in a few categories : Art Direction. Cinematography, Costumes and Hair Styling. No acting nominations sadly. Seriously, no Emmy for JRM??!!! :whip: And apparently Natalie is set to play the late Queen mother in Madonna's Wallis Simpson movie. http://natalie-dormer.org/natalie-to-play-queen-mother/ Nathalie said: “This country tends to remember the Queen Mother as a rather wrinkly 97 year-old, but I am playing her when she was quite an enchanting, engaging twenty and thirtysomething,” Natalie Dormer told me. “She was quite a savage and savvy game player.”" Sounds interesting....but I don't know about Madonna doing this film...I'm a little scared...

why so defeatist ??! Maybe they'll surprise us?! A new guitarist will probably bring a new energy and dynamic... It might be good thing  We'll have to wait and see before trashing them... Anyway, it's been so long we haven't hear from them, they could play me the phone book, I'll be happy  Can't wait to hear new Flea bass kickin ass lines :awesome:

Actually in the last issue of Q, there is the big article, but they spoke also of TP on the 'tracks of the month', they suggest 'the good book' <3 and elsewhere, they're speaking again of the band in a short presentation (illustrated with the photo of the last article I put earlier). And on the review page presentation of new release they basically said that this month was a downer with bad record from Kylie and so on but that TP was the exception to the rule :smug: Q likes Gary, I've noticed that for a long time but all the reviews I've seen so far on TP are really great so no coincidence! AND there is a one page advertising for the album <33

hum....tough call.... I personnally would advise you to start with 'easy' tracks like Ferreting, Snow crystals, Electric eye, look kids, Josie or frozen fingers :) If you want 'inventive': deadbeat, datascroller, Flum...

Kings of Leon
Thanks for the details! It's cool you got to see them and it went well :) As for their attitude, I red an unofficial biography (made by a journalist & son that follow them since the beginning all the time) and like your friend, they said that some fans find too that now they are kinda acting like 'divas' with fans  and that they must be careful to not alienate their fanbase. I guess everybody has a bad day and I can understand that with all that's happening to them, they can be arsh or cold sometimes  But I hope it just on occasions and it won't become a pattern... It doesn't surprise me they have massive security, it's kind of a package deal nowadays with big bands... the producers want to protect their cash machines....v.v

Religion
An interesting documentary/reflexion about religionS [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZpREDn4NFA]YouTube- Religulous (now available on DVD)[/ame] Personnally, I don't believe in "God" even if I've been brought up as a catholic. I believe in a force that unite us, what we call 'life', but to me, it's a force as the same degree as gravitation. I don't see any 'mastermind' behind it, or devine plans... I don't like religions cause I don't see the point to follow arbitrary rules edicted ages ago by random people. If you want to be 'spiritual' and believe in sthg, I don't see why wearing a certain outfit, saying a certain thing, eating this or not that will make you 'better' in the eye of your 'god'....that's just material facts and it's totally arbitrary...!! And the fact that people are fighting all over the world on those arbitrary things is just nonsense to me....believe in what you believe but let others be! :nice:

:o really..lucky you!! So how are they in 'real'...?? I don't know when we'll see them in Europe, and in France... I guess next year for the LP5 tour. But we'll probably only have one date in Paris, so I *hope/pray* it will be on a day I could go...
