  1. the densitiy of colour is far below 100% with printers. it's unneccessary on paper, and on this transparency you will always have transparent spots, that's why you see through printed areas. dunno what i used, it read "inkjet" something, but nothing particularly special, just the usual stuff you'd get - didn't buy it myself, dad had it at home anyway
  2. it's crucial to train your fingers, they need to be strong! and also, for a start it's easier to try barré chords on the middle part of the neck, from frets 5 to 9 i'd say it's good, the further you go down the harder it will be, so you can increase or decrease the resistance as disired for your practising
  3. ALL songs on all 4 instruments - coldplay are brilliant but not too hard =) okok, except maybe princess of china, of which we have no real good version yet since it's been played only once so far. but i focus on the guitar & piano
  4. my paper is as clear as crystal, maybe you should look again... but it's a lot better now than your first try. VIVA is definitely the best part. and for cool! organ....... .__________. turn off the rotary effect will ya?
  5. you'll hear no difference between real shit and real painted shit xD sorry... but true ._. it looks pretty good though! and well, someone with a more expensive guitar will not paint it, and if he does, he'll have the money to buy a new one :D if it's not too many layers, it won't affect the tone too much
  6. ^+1 well kind of, i know how to do it but i'd like to hear what you have done
  7. tuxguitar can be used for piano, too, yes. you can change the settings for the sheets so only the normal lines will be displayed without tabs, but i don't know it exactly since i haven't used in ages...^^
  8. would anyone please ask about the new clothes? what brand they are? she answered the question about the watches, so why not this one too? - answer to last question: because i'm asking xD i'm kinda ignored constantly so i won't even bother saking =/
  9. problem is, stuff is expensive you may want to try tuxguitar, it's free and does not only tabs but also sheet music. i recommend a keyboard/epiano with midi ports or even usb so you can hook it up with your computer. you can record midi files which already gives you the exact sheety of what you have played. TOO exact, so adjustments have to be made in a few places, but well, it gets the job done for you in no time - actually the time you need to play it! give the midi stuff a try, maybe visit a local store for musical instruments & equipment, they will have everything you need and can give you direct advises.
  10. NO I DON'T WANNA SWALLOW SUCH A BITTER PILL
  11. princesanji posted a topic in Coldplay
Hey hey, I searched for it but I couldn't find anything. So, what do we know about the new clothes? I really like the shirts and jackets, does anybody know what brand they are? I've seen around here that the trousers are from Carhartt and the watches are Casio G-Shock GW6900 models if i recall that correctly. Any info on the shirts? what type of shirts are they, how'd you call them ? (in case you want to look for something similar) --> i'm a man, so forgive me for not knowing about styling & clothing :D
  12. image no do work not xD [that WAS intended i'm not that awful]
  13. 1) i think it's "... they smashed...." 2) looks really good! 3) the rose could be more "combusting" ;D
  14. dude it looks so crappy to be honest xD the left part above the keys looks good, VIVA dosn't seem to be odd either... the fix you lyrics suck a lot ._. the right part above the keys, too and i like CK
  15. LIIIIGHT A FIIIIIRE ON THE SPOT AND LIIIIIGHT A FIIIRE FLAME IN MY HEAAAAART WE RUN WIIIIILD WE'LL BE GLOOOWING IN THE DAAARK
  16. i get what you wanna say^^ well taking it apart is not necessary if you are very careful... but really, in any way (whether liquid paint (uuh spray paint would be awesome*__*), inkjet or whatever) you should add colors! maybe colorful shapes like... "CK", butterflies, MMM-Towers or UFOs etc, i think it would look neat, maybe put some on the picture to see what it looks like
  17. LWGYH. ... i don't like that part, write it out in full or leave it off, it looks odd... and weeeell there is a lot of space left, don't you think? maybe color it a bit up, not just plain boring silver
  18. he's been playing the new jazz bass since the start of the tour. c'mon, it's like asking jonny for why he's using more strats now and hardly his thinlines - most likely sound reasons (if not, maybe guy didn't want to repaint his nice old bass so he got a new one)
  19. it is better yes, i like it more now, but.... how are you gonna do the white parts?
  20. yay thats good. let us see what you did ( gonna go to bed now ^^)
  21. btw there is a lot of things you have not notived yet! (i recently discovered another lead e-guitar in white shadows!! veeery hard to hear... and i never knew shiver had a piano, too) but i think you should look in the multimedia section, we have instrumentals (official ones) to almost every song
  22. duh me neither, i used a laser printer, works out brilliantly
  23. it will last forever if you don't remove it and sticks pretty good, cleanse the surface from any dust before that and be sure to have a credit card or some sort of softer plastic with a straight edge ready to slowly pull over it to push out the air so that there won't be any bubbles. white will be pretty hard if you do not have a special printer with white ink. but ok, the edges of the inkjet (do you really call this paper? i mean it's transparent plastic :D) may get dirty if you put small pieces of it on the keys directly. (because you touch it a lot with your fingers, in other places it will remain clean) another idea: little butterflies in various colors + don't use that viva logo you have without editing out the 4 titles first, unless you want it to look awful
  24. paper? what paper? if you can print them, you can write on them too ;D the ones i was talking about are e.g. "inkjet", i have used them to put a logo on the head stock of my guitars... they are transparent, so you might consider strong colors or white foil (which will look akward if it's not cut at least a bit) keep us posted with pics, yeah?
