ah i'm dead excited =))) for those wondering about the Söhne Mannheims, they're famous in Germany, that's why they're playing for so long - and i believe they deserve it. i'm here for an advice, if you'd please: should i reload and restart the stream before recording coldplay, will that do any good? might this improve anything? (stability of the stream i hope)

i'm doing that for audio-only by the way =) see the respective thread for todays venue ;)

yeah he's right, the schedule from swr is playing almost as planned (they put in a bit of Morning Parade ) .... oh btw. "u.a." is german for "and others", so not only the kooks but some more will be shown until about Sunday 3:00am =) @Dan Medina thanks for praying :D i want those new songs sooo much (everyone here does, right?! ), and since the quality at least for audio is very good, it would be a shame missing that chance!

aaaaah, the very first thing i noticed, strats and strats and strats (he's got more than one after all^^) neatly painted, bad ass sounding strats! you know, yesterday i picked up one of mine, playing some coldplay and thinking "yeah i'm too lazy to walk upstairs to grab THE 'coldplay-guitar', my Thinline, but the strat will do well; however i think jonny did never have any of these in his life? too bad, they're good..." and just that evening, my eyes caught him rocking on a strat *____*

nah sorry dude =/ but to everyone here: I don't want to summon high hopes, though I am able to and a will be recording the whole damn thing tonight =D My second PC is up and running, already got some "Hurts", "Bring me the Horizon" and now it's "Morning Parade" or whatever, pretty much an interview with a german actress, hm, whatever it is, it's being recorded. Quality ? Lossless. Means, whatever the stream of swr3 is giving me, i take it... so cross your fingers the stream won't break in the middle of Coldplay!! =( it's happened only once before, common thing though... at least i hope IF there is an interruption, it won't take to long and is not within one of the new tunes... SOOO: anybody out here able to record it VISUALLY, too ? I encourage everyone around here: record it !!! the more of us give it a try, the bigger the chance we can put up every single song =D

weeeell we'll have the HQ stream (from tv channel ARD plus / SWR3 ) tomorrow (rather today!? i mean saturday!) on 22:50 [GMT+1] (if gmt+1 is german time :D ) running supposedly until 0:20! already got an alarm clock set and can't wait =D

's good to my ears, you can argue about that slide, yeah, but it's not messing it up. um, by the way: when you try to cover the guitar part - that's wrong; can't explain, just listen carefully - how do i know? i'm a guitarist and immediately picked up the guitar and tried it out =D you got the notes right after all

hey everyone, um, could anyone of those who BOUGHT & DOWNLOADED IT from iTunes or amazon or wherever tell me whether there is a difference between that one and the one on youtube (see on official coldplay website) or not? or generally look how long does it play? is it 4:00 minutes exact or more? (just curious because the ending is rather abrupt) as i assume if you read this and answer, it'll go down here, so if you'd please be so kind and leave me a PM, that would be just great, thank you! --- damn, i'd like to buy that one right now, but amazon.de doesn't offer it, and amazon.com says that downloads are restricted to us residents only so far, and since i'm in germany (and do not have iTunes either), that's not gonna work for me now =(

+ piano guy + video + sound + arrangement in total - vocal (he'd literally "go singing out of tune" & sometimes a little "blurry"/inaccurate) - odd drummer :D - little boring bass very good so far, some things to work on, though nothing you would not be able to do after some more practising

sorry, no chance though i know some of the settings, its hard to recall them. however, numbers&letters refer to the DD4 presets, if i remember that correctly and i think CM = C11 but come to think of it, he's got his "pandoras box" as he calls it, it may be any preset on there!

yeah, and get your guitar set up properly, that seems the most important thing btw., why hasn't anyone noticed that? buzzing strings and stuff? the guitar tech at your local store will know how to set it up right, means he knows how to adjust the truss rod, intonation and action properly.

wow, i stumbled across this thread again... the tuning by the way is C#C#E#G#C#C# (low to high) look at the link in the 2nd post, they got the tuning a little wrong but the chords are right

well and guess who's the first person who knows best what an epiphone el00 is like? ;)
