[CANCELLED] 29-May-2009: Toyota Pavilion, Scranton, PA, USA
I guess that if more than 70% of the tickets are sold, it is unlikely that they'd cancel the show. If it is less than that, then there's risk.

Aww, so nice, you are gonna make a new friend. :nice: Maybe she could get a lawn ticket? There are some on eBay on reserved seating selling below face value. ;)

Just found this...
So lame, doesn't even make sense. Oh well, I guess people will be wasting their time on stupidities, just like the whole world since prehistory has done.

WHAT TIME WOULD YOU START LINING UP FOR GENERAL ADMISSION??
People, this is COLDPLAY! Grab yourselves a tent, food, water, cellphone, etc. and start the line at the venue 3 days before the concert. I am sure that by doing this, you'll be guaranteed to have front view of the stage. ;)

Has anyone ever been to a Coldplay show by themselves?

I had luck in selling my 'not-necessary' tickets in StubHub at face value, try there or on eBay.

Awww, to be honest with you, I have experienced what it is like to study in a foreign country when you are also foreign. It's very hard the first couple of days and very strange, but I am sure that you'll be adapted very quickly and will overcome this challenge. ;)

Of course! I want to extend you my gratitude to you for putting the update of the GA Pit tickets for this show, without your update, I wouldn't have been able to get them. I am highly appreciated and I felt that something was vaccuming me yesterday to get into this thread for some reason. Maybe fate? I am so sorry about that, but I tried to message a lot of fellow Coldplayers around 6pm on 4/09, and NO ONE was online. The tickets sold out in about 8 hours, there were 200 of them. But hey! There are still tickets available in sections 1, 2 and 3 so GET MOVING! There are some selling on eBay, but no way with the prices.... around $450 for a pair.... :inquisitive: (Again, get moving to get sections 1, 2 and 3 at least, they are on sale right now!) I'll be updating this thread if I get more tickets in the pit. What I am now trying to do is to sell the other tickets that I'd bought. If anyone interested, PM me: 2 tickets for Section 7, Row T. (Selling at the exact face value, 'hard' type/In hand, they're considered premium seating according to the LiveNation venue map ).

Ticket drop! Better seats now available for some shows
I was flabbergasted when I saw that the pit tickets were on sale on Livenation, I am going to the West Palm Beach show and the final Tampa show. Or in other words, the opening and closing nights. :smug: I am so happy that I was able to find two tickets for the GA Pit in the WPB show, I can't believe that I am going to be so close to the stage! And without having to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a ticket! I made posts on every show thread this afternoon, trying to spread the word to fellow Coldplayers here in the forum, and some recently created threads in order for them to buy these wonderful seats! But sadly, I haven't received a reply from anyone. But anyway, I am still shocked to see such a wonderful thing... Now the thing is to sell the tickets that I'd already bought, they're premium seats but in the upper level... Congratulations to everyone who got GA Pit tickets!

Clocks Interpretation
Well, first of all welcome to Coldplaying.com! :nice: I had heard about Chris Martin's great grandfather, and his invention of the daylight savings time. I do believe that the song "Clocks" has to do with his memory and to some extent the invention of daylight savings. But if you take a close look at the lyrics of the song you'll be able to see that there's no reference to an invention or even less to his great grandfather. In my opinion, I just think that Clocks is a song about life ticking like a clock that never stops and it continues through hardships and good times. But there might be a reference to his great grandfather, I guess that only Coldplay knows this, or only Chris knows it! :sneaky:

Better Seats Being Released Issue...
Hello there, Well yeah, this same thing happened to me today! This is awesome!! But at the same time it's a little bit stressful, I have two general admission pit tickets for my show at West Palm Beach (Opening night of the North American tour), and apart from that I have two reserved seating tickets in an upper level section. My advice to myself, to you, and to anybody who already bought better seats and has extra tickets on upper level sections would be to wait for a couple of weeks more before selling them. You can try on eBay or any ticket site, and see how it goes, and remember to sell them to recover the expense, don't sell them outrageously overpriced! :smug:

15-May-2009: Cruzan Amphitheatre, West Palm Beach, FL, USA
As of right now, only West Palm Beach has the pit for sale, as well as sections 1,2, and 3. They're selling out very quickly! :surprised: Tampa doesn't have any for the pit, but for sections 8-10 there are PLENTY available! :D

U2
To be honest with you, the music background that the Black Eyed Peas have doesn't really 'connect' with U2. The producers (Paul McGuiness, etc.) should really think before they put as opening acts.

Your Coldplay Dream Setlist
It would be nice to get at least 2 hours and 30 minutes in a concert, and not 1 hour and 40 minutes like most all of their concerts are. The concerts are varied into 22-25 songs on a average estimate. Now in order for them to fulfill my 'time' they would have to play more than 30 songs: 1. Life In Technicolor 2. Glass of Water 3. Rainy Day 4. Violet Hill 5. God Put A Smile Upon My Face 6. A Rush Of Blood To The Head 7. Shiver 8. Trouble 9. Cemeteries Of London 10. Green Eyes 11. Strawberry Swing 12. What If 13. A Message 14. Speed Of Sound 15. The Hardest Part 16. Clocks 17. In My Place 18. Politik 19. 42 20. Talk 21. Daylight 22. See You Soon 23. Everything's Not Lost 24. Lost! 25. Lovers In Japan First Encore 26. Viva La Vida 27. Death And All His Friends 28. The Scientist Second Encore 29. Yellow 30. Moses 31. Life In Technicolor II 32. Fix You Now, I am sure that Coldplay after reading this will play this setlist! Come on guys! For $1.5 million on each gig, that's nothing to give to your fans! :escaping:
