  1. I noticed that URL too! Ha ha! Can't wait!

Gah, I wish I could see Elbow. I hope that touring w/ Coldplay makes more people notice them. They're amazing.
  3. Death and All His Friends
  4. *pokes various press outlets with giant pole* *proceeds to poke weekday gods to make it Tuesday*
  5. When was the last time they did this? It's been eons! :stunned:
  6. Well, they are admittedly stuffing almost all of VLV onto their setlist, and even if it's the VLV Tour, they need it varied. Not that I wouldn't love to hear "Yes" or anything, but it's not a song I'd swap some of the other songs for. Isn't that what Chris said about Lhuna? "Too sexy" to put on the album or something.

Hope they had a nice 10 days off! Still, poor Guy hasn't tweeted in two weeks! I hope he's still okay mentally! :worried:

Every live performance I've watched of The Hardest Part is a different jumbled lyrical mess. :laugh3:

  11. Fit for a king (and a queen, and a bishop, and a knight...I'll stop)! Chris can stay in shape by lifting giant chess pieces! Looks like it's up in the hills somewhere, but I could still probably find a good stalking location. The area's just over half an hour from here. :P (Kidding about the stalking, obviously)
  12. Just steer clear of Sawdust at first. It's basically a B-side collection. All 3 main albums have a different sound to them, so don't be expecting the same material with each. I'm not sure how to describe them individually, but I can say that Hot Fuss is certainly the "rockiest".
  13. If we did, don't you think we would never shut up about them? :laugh3: We hope the information will come soon, but we have no forecast of when that info will arrive.
  14. I've started collecting the singles (only the CD's right now), so here's my new list so far: Albums/EP's: Brothers & Sisters Parachutes A Rush of Blood to the Head Live 2003 X&Y Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends Prospekt's March Singles: Yellow Trouble Don't Panic Clocks Talk Violet Hill Viva la Vida Life in Technicolor II Hope to add a Speed of Sound single and a physical copy of LRLRL soon.

Day & Age took a few months to grow on me (I even expressed my disappointment here upon first release), but now I prefer it to Sam's Town. It's hard to compare to Hot Fuss since it is admittedly much different, though. Sawdust, on the other hand, is a piece of garbage. Aside from a few bright spots that were still rightfully B-sides in the first place, it's not worth the price of a full album. And yes, Shadowplay is a poor cover that gets a surprising amount of love it doesn't deserve.
  16. Apparently many of the representatives who voted in favor of this bill - including the few Republicans that voted Yes - received contributions to their re-election campaigns from environmental groups, and I'm not talking about your basic conservation group. I'm talking about the wacky environmental groups that believe in sacrificing basic freedoms and earnings for these types of projects. This ridiculous and fraudulent bribery is the reason scumbag politicians stay in office.
  17. Swine flu is so two months ago. :P But seriously, this is not a good idea. I've heard of "Pox Parties", which are for getting chicken pox out of the way early in life. But while they happen sometimes, a "swine flu party" is an entirely different matter. For one, swine flu can kill at any age, while chicken pox is rarely deadly at a young age. Second, chicken pox isn't a freaking pandemic. This is a disease that international organizations are trying to keep under control. Not to mention countless millions less people have caught it than have caught chicken pox, which could only add to the crisis. People shouldn't panic over this disease, but while they're at it, they should also use their freaking heads.

  20. ^ It may help us to know what you downloaded. As a general starting point, though, I'd begin with their second album, Origin of Symmetry. Not that their first album is bad or anything, but it's quite different.
  21. Today at work, I was walking past a coworker's office. He was gone for lunch but he left his radio on, and The Scientist was playing! I suddenly stopped in my tracks and continued jotting the material I needed on a notepad while humming along to Coldplay! Thankfully nobody else passed by during that time; I would have looked like a total loon! 19 DAYS
  22. :laugh3: "Morty Martin"!!

Enjoying that beach-front property on Guy? (this is immensely off-topic, lol. Back to the flags.)
  24. Corkus replied to erick's topic in Coldplay
Coldplay should use China's flag. You know, since Coldplay's taking over the fucking world. Of course, the above ideas and designs are also quite fine. :P
