(couldn't do it with Lovers, seeing as how we were too stupid to throw as many paper butterflies in our bags as we could at the end of the last concert) BTW, speaking of LIJ, I'm relatively drunk right now and decided to turn on the music video just for thrills and laughs. Considering how actual reality is spinning to me now, it was the first time watching that I didn't get dizzy. :laugh3:

In fact, I think we should all be respectful of that by giving people at least a bit of time to read others' stories, especially considering how this is all being condensed into one thread, making it easy to miss something. :) So expect a delay from me until early next week.

Silly, silly Bono. :lol::rolleyes: If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure there's more than one swear out there to describe you. No doubt Chris and Coldplay in general is on the band's minds as they prepare to swoop back into public eye. Heck, Bono even admitted it a few days ago (and then complimented Chris).

Actually, Viva la Vida is just everybody in the stadium flailing their arms around like maniacs and screaming. I actually think it's one of the worse glow stick songs, especially since the lights are pretty bright during it. I'm thinking more along the lines of the techno mixes, rave-friendly songs like LIT and CSC, and songs that you can wave them back and forth slowly like Fix You and The Scientist. Speed of Sound is also a potential winner seeing as how everything is almost completely darkened, making lights stand out much more.

Haha, of course we're planning way ahead! We have to make this the best concert experience ever! There's two days between the SD and Carson shows, so I suppose we can figure little things from there, but it's not too early to start planning other things! :P

I use some more Scorsese parallels soon. Obvious ones. The overall plotline is original, but it certainly has its share of Scorsese influence, so good eye.

^ Obviously "Speed of Sound". Casual fans have no idea what "High Speed" even is. :\ "In My Place" is actually already available. Reason being is that I was checking the latest content for Xbox Live the other day, and I saw one labeled "In My Place", which made me think, "The same song as that Coldplay one?" Surely enough, it had the AROBTTH icon next to it. Of course, I was merely looking for Guitar Hero material, as I don't own Lips. I want more Coldplay songs for Guitar Hero. :P

Those Jonas Brothers are some crafty pretty boys. They beat out Coldplay for best act at the AMAs, which are largely a public vote, and they beat out Coldplay for worst album at NME, which is also largely a public vote. Make up your damn minds, mainstream public! :lol:

It's here! The beginning of my new 8-chapter Coldplay story! It's a mob story featuring shocking revelations about the band's behind-the-scenes lives that you may have never suspected. Indeed, I can safely say this is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever written, so you expect to find anything truly emotional or thought-provoking, please look elsewhere. Some parts get a tad brutal, but I'll post warnings for those, and there's none of that in the first chapter (most of the story is complete; just need to rewrite a few parts). Chris is probably blushing. If it was Thom Yorke who said it, though, Chris might have gone quite literally insane. Haven't heard much about Coldplay from the mouths of U2, so good to hear.

You may be able to find them at party stores. Though to sneak them in easier, make sure they're not yet inflated. And make sure they're colored YELLOW.

Yeah, Carson gets some nice ocean breeze. It tends to be smoggy, but you're not going to be needing the most overprotective sunscreen if you plan on arriving early. Have no plans as to what time I'll arrive, and a lot can change in five months. Depends if we're coordinating a Coldplaying meet-up.

In honor of Mastermedia's special prayer day today for Coldplay, I wore my Viva La Vida shirt to class to "represent". One person said, "Oh my God, your shirt is awesome!" I responded with, "I know. Coldplay is awesome!" Granted, while most people are blaring rap from their rooms in the dorms, you're much more likely to hear Strawberry Swing coming from my room. :D
