  1. Over 250? Do you have every album, vinyl, EP, and single from EVERY REGION? :stunned: Even then, I'm having trouble imagining that many.
  2. I think Chris spazzing out on stage gets the crowd going!

Huh...never actually noticed Will being mentioned. :stunned: One of the best B-sides, though.
  4. Never been to a DCFC concert, but in terms of mainstream hits: - Soul Meets Body - I Will Follow You Into the Dark - I Will Possess Your Heart And to a lesser extent: - The New Year - Title & Registration - Crooked Teeth - Cath Though I'd get familiar with most material from Transatlanticism, Plans, and especially Narrow Stairs (being the latest album they want to promote). I'm not sure what the fanbase is for anything earlier than Transatlanticism.
  5. Hmm...today I'm in a "42" kind of mood. Seriously, that song was the longest grower for me.
  6. ^ Narrow Stairs isn't their best album, but there's still some good stuff besides IWPYH to check out. "Bixby Canyon Bridge" is my favorite Death Cab album opener. The first half of the album is quite good, actually. The second half fizzles a bit, but isn't a bad listen.
  7. It seems the acoustic set is the most fluid in terms of setlist changes. Glass of Water seems to be more solidified now (finally) at the expense of Chinese Sleep Chant, which probably isn't the biggest loss. Speed of Sound was moved to the acoustic C-stage (which I want back in standard set), which seems to swap with Green Eyes every night. I doubt the U.S. tour is going to have as many crazy covers, honestly, so we could see something fill their place. Chinese Sleep Chant was a fun glowstick/cellphone song, but I'm not truly going to miss it. I far prefer Glass of Water and I hope they continue with it. Death Will Never Conquer is the other recent loss, and maybe they'll throw it back in if they ditch the acoustic covers (mostly worth it for Will). Of course, something out-of-the-blue would be the best course, just to keep things fresh. Maybe something normal from X&Y that isn't a piano or acoustic or techno mix. Y'know, so Fix You isn't totally alone.
  8. I'd imagine they'd want to kiss his NON injuries too. :inquisitive::rolleyes:
  9. I love Wigglers. Those little caterpiller things are just so hysterical when you jump on them and they turn red and start going berserk. Wait, The WIGGLES? Not the same as Wigglers, but probably equally awesome. :D

This River is Wild (The Killers)
  11. Heehee, I remember when I waddled into this thread back in December asking how I should get started with Keane. Now I'm fully on-board the bandwagon, no worries. :D Didn't know Bedshaped was so popular, which happens to be my favorite also (on any Keane album).
  12. Honestly, it's still too far off to predict, and we can probably predict a few changes within the tour leg itself, but they'll probably keep a lot of the same stuff. I do agree that I'd like the techno mixes ditched. Granted, they'd have to come up with something else cool for the B-stage. :\ And with all due respect, I seriously hope Speed of Sound is moved back to the standard part of the show. Green Eyes works great on the acoustic set, but I feel Speed of Sound is meant to be played in its original sexy form. Even if it means dumping something like Cemeteries (which I feel is a great song, but unremarkable live).
  13. Today I was digging SQUARE ONE again. :)

  15. So I waltz into this thread every week or so, and every time, I'm no less amazed at this forum's creativity! (as well as potential lack of life) I love what everybody's done with their butterflies, and I really dig those custom album paintings. :) I don't have pics (they aren't that stellar, anyways), but I burned two Coldplay mixes for a friend the other day, and totally went berzerk with randomly drawing on the CDs. Along with fancy letter art, I wrote random lyrics on the outside and drew certain song "themes" all over, such as a clock, the Parachutes globe, birds, green eyes (using a green Sharpie), a strawberry, and a mirror, sword, & shield.
  16. Eh, I'd agree with the folks in the Don't Panic thread that it'd be easier just to confine things to a single thread, or this place is gonna get real cluttered. Shiver is a great song. My only beef with Shiver is that when I attempt to sing it, it's like I'm first hitting puberty again.
  17. It took me a while to get into music in general, but once I did, X&Y was the first CD I ever bought. It's a great peaceful CD with some great anthems. In retrospect, a few songs feel like filler (even Chris has said they stuffed too much onto one album), but this CD still continues to get infinite replay from me. Heck, Speed of Sound was the song that got me into Coldplay in the first place (through which I discovered past brilliance like Clocks and Politik).

Not only did I have to Wiki this Neil guy, but I had to Wiki this Art Attack show. I wish I had that type of show as a kid. Oh, and it helps to have a link to your "source". ;)
