Five more years in Iraq, say defence papers Sean Rayment London Telegraph Sunday April 8, 2007 Britain's "overstretched" armed forces will fight in Iraq for at least another five years. A confidential planning document drawn up by defence chiefs called the Operational Tour Plot, parts of which have been disclosed to this newspaper, reveals that troops will be serving on operations in the Gulf until at least 2012. News of the future operations can be revealed just three days after four soldiers, two of them women, were killed in a carefully planned ambush in Basra, taking the British forces death toll in Iraq to 140. Almost 100,000 of the 180,000 members of the country's armed services have now served in Iraq since the war began in March 2003. Two of the four provinces in southern Iraq are now under the control of official Iraqi forces. Maysan province is due to be handed over later this month and the Iraqi military should take official control of Basra province later this summer. But British troops will remain for at least another five years, the government documents reveal. The Operational Tour Plot, which lists the units to be sent on operations, reveals that 12 Mechanised Brigade, which saw service in Iraq in 2005 and which is about to embark on a six-month tour to Afghanistan in May, will return to Iraq in 2012 on Operation Telic 19, the codename for the war in Iraq. Troops in Iraq are currently serving on Operation Telic 9. The contents of the document, distributed last month, appear to be in marked contrast to a statement made by Tony Blair in February giving the impression that British troops would remain in Iraq for less than two years. He said: "The UK military presence will continue into 2008". Mr Blair told the Commons: "Increasingly our role will be support and training, and our numbers will be able to reduce accordingly." Patrick Mercer, a former infantry colonel and former Tory homeland security spokesman, said: "The reality is that many troops will remain in Iraq for the foreseeable future and continue to take casualties." Senior commanders also revealed the number of troops committed to Afghanistan is likely to increase over the next two years.

London Telegraph Sunday April 8, 2007 CCTV cameras that berate people for misbehaving on Britain's streets are the latest staging-post towards the creation of a surveillance society. But is the Government really making us safer, or are we simply handing too much control to a Big Brother state? Ross Clark investigates The blunt Glaswegian voice of John Reid, the Home Secretary, is a formidable tool for bringing Labour rebels into line, but perhaps less suited to reassuring the public that a proposed network of talking CCTV cameras does not constitute anything sinister. Speaking last Wednesday of plans to extend a pilot scheme in Middlesbrough, where louts are regularly reprimanded over loudspeakers, he said: "There are always people who will claim that it's a 'police society'. It isn't. It's a society where the vast majority of law-abiding citizens are doing their utmost to respect each other." Tony Blair will be hoping that his "Respect agenda" will form part of his much-desired legacy. What is more certain to form part of that legacy, however, is the increase in mass surveillance of the British. His last few months in office have been characterised by moves to help the state monitor our behaviour. advertisementHardly had the controversy over speaking cameras begun to fade than John Hutton, the Work and Pensions Secretary, announced that benefit claimants in Harrow would be subjected to lie detectors when they called benefit offices: software will analyse voices for frequency changes believed to be indicative of lying. Big Brother Hutton is listening, but he's also collecting. In January, Mr Hutton proposed creating a super-database that would collate all the information held by different Government departments. It would put an end, he argued, to appalling bureaucratic episodes such as that suffered by the family of a road accident victim who had to contact Government departments on 44 occasions to inform them of his death. The Department for Work and Pensions has so far been unable to explain how a super-database of all citizens would have made any difference to the family. There would, though, be many other uses for it: such as matching religious beliefs, as stated on the 2001 census, with applications to put children into church schools. January's Serious Crime Bill carried proposals to enable the Government to share personal information with private companies, for the purposes of investigating fraud. Moreover, the bill includes a clause that will enable the Home Secretary to allow departments to share information on anyone suspected of any crime, or who owed money to any public body. It will also enable public bodies to embark on 'data-matching' exercises - trawling through millions of records to identify suspicious patterns of activity. "For example, you would be caught out if you were claiming benefits in one part of the country and working in another," a spokesman for the Home Office explains. When pressed further on the practical implications of the bill, the Home Office is a little vague. Will it mean, say, that your spending habits will be passed from supermarket chains to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs? Or will details of your disputed parking ticket be made available to your bank when assessing whether or not to advance you a loan? These matters, adds a spokesman, "will be for a code of practice, to be worked out with the Information Commissioner". That Information Commissioner is Richard Thomas, who two years ago warned that Britain was "sleep-walking into a surveillance society". Last November, he reiterated his fears, arguing that the increasing collection and sharing of data is putting citizens at risk of miscarriages of justice: "Mistakes can be made with serious consequences: false matches and other cases of mistaken identity, inaccurate facts or inferences, suspicions taken as reality and breaches of security." It is unclear how the Government's plans would help the unnamed passenger whose BA flight to New York in January 2005 was turned back in mid-Atlantic because his name was found by an American computer to match that of a terror suspect. In future, those whose identities have been falsely matched to criminal and terror suspects face misery as the information is rapidly exchanged between Government departments. What the Government's super-database certainly will do is to increase the opportunities for public servants to misuse data on private individuals. In 2003, the Inland Revenue admitted that it had reprimanded, fined or sacked 765 employees after they had been caught mis-using their computers - in some cases selling celebrities' tax records. The Information Commissioner has been especially scathing about the proposed national database for all the nation's 12 million children. Health, educational and social services records would be entered onto it, and made accessible to 400,000 public sector workers. Where a teacher or doctor had expressed concern, for example about a mark on a child's back or poor performance at school, they would be invited to add a "flag" onto the child's records. Once a child has gained two flags, an investigation could result. A report commissioned by the Information Commissioner delivered a damning verdict, arguing that the proposal "reduces parental authority and risks damaging their willingness to seek or accept help". Moreover, the report argued that amassing such a large quantity of data could make it harder to spot the few genuine cases of child abuse amid a sea of trivial observations. Another database that has grown alarmingly in the past two years is the national DNA database. The original purpose of this was to hold DNA on known offenders, so that it might be used to tackle unsolved crimes. In practice, however, police have added the DNA of everybody whom they have arrested and many more simply called in for questioning. There are now 3.7 million Britons, six per cent of the population, on the database. Its existence is not exactly helping the Government eradicate 'institutional racism' in the justice system: the DNA of 22 per cent of young white males is registered, compared with 77 per cent of young black males. DNA fingerprinting has proved a useful tool in linking suspects to the scene of a crime, but it is a different matter once police begin to trawl through a vast database of DNA samples in order to fish for suspects. Prof Sir Alec Jeffreys, who pioneered the standard technique now used, has warned that its inaccuracy rate, calculated at one in a billion, is no longer sufficient now there are 3.2 million people on the DNA database. advertisementThe scale of the data-gathering on British citizens amounts to an experiment never before tried in a Western democracy. Last November the pressure group Privacy International produced a study comparing state surveillance in 36 nations. Britain came joint third with Russia, behind China and Malaysia. We scored particularly highly for the number of CCTV cameras: there are now four million of them operated either by the state or by private interests. The obvious question looms: if surveillance really works, surely Britain ought to be the safest country in the developed world. Yet the last International Crime Victims Survey, which consisted of interviews with 34,000 people in 17 countries in 2000, found that 3.6 per cent of Britons reported being victims of crime in the previous 12 months, second only to Australia. Since then, the number of CCTV cameras has continued to rise, as has violent crime and robbery: the very sort of crimes that tend to take place on streets watched over by CCTV. In spite of their dramatic spread, there is little evidence that cameras do anything to deter criminals. A four-year study by the University Hospital Cardiff, comparing towns with CCTV to those without, found no reduction in the number of fights - only that injuries were less severe because the cameras had helped alert police and ambulances faster. What chance the speaking CCTV camera will prove any more of a deterrent?

Drug-Dispensing Tooth Could Be Controlled By Cell Phone Local 6 TV | April 5, 2007 Researchers in Europe and Israel are working on a tooth that can dispense medicine into a person's mouth, according to a Local 6 report. The tiny device would be able to release a specific amount of medicine at certain intervals, ensuring that the patient gets the proper dosage at the right time. It's attached to your existing teeth and could one day be controlled by using your cell phone, the report said. Patients often forget or find it too inconvenient to take medicine, especially during night. But, a dentist told the Associated Press that the device would rectify the problem by automating the process. The actual drug-dispensing system is called IntelliDrug and would be small enough to fit in a replacement tooth placed in the back of the mouth, like a molar. Wolff's company, Saliwell Ltd., and German microelectronics institute HSG-IMIT are two of 15 organizations involved with the development of the device. TV News Lies The corporate media have launched desperate attempt to eliminate all discussions about the official body of evidence related to the events of 9/11. Just watch how they are trying frantically to get Rosie O’Donnell fired from ABC’s The View. Also think back to when the media launched a broad based attack against the character of Charlie Sheen for daring to publicly question the official story of 9/11. Rosie, however, is a much greater problem for the criminals in the media. She is on a daily network TV program with a large audience that doesn’t even know that questions and disturbing facts about 9/11 exist. Let’s understand one thing: the 9/11 truth movement is doing nothing but growing. People who have been exposed to the actual evidence and understand the ramifications of what it reveals are not waking up one morning and suddenly deciding that they believe the official story. The dynamic works like this: those who are not aware of the evidence believe the official story. Once they start poking around they realize that the official story about the attacks could not possibly be true, and they discover the plethora of evidence hidden and misrepresented by the Bush administration, the 9/11 Commission and the corporate media. 9/11 truthers are not suddenly coming across new information that caused them to suddenly believe the official story. It’s a one way flow. The evidence speaks for itself. Could that last statement possibly explain why the media are trying so desperately to quash any discussion about 9/11 or destroy the credibility of anyone who dares to try to raise the topic? You can bet that it is! But there is another angle here as well. The media are no longer trying to protect the insiders of the Bush administration whose involvement in the events and cover up of the evidence is implicated by so much that has been uncovered. For generations, the media have kept Americans in the dark about topics like war, taxation, the monetary system, America’s involvement in atrocities in the world, domestic assassinations, science, health, and our environment. Yet, 9/11 is a topic that hits home like no other. Understand that this is not theory, this is provable. We have to understand that the media have “protected the people” from the truth about many events over the years. I demonstrate this very clearly in a presentation that I give to live audiences. You can get some insight into media deception by perusing TvNewsLIES.org, but my lecture leaves no doubt in people’s minds that the media lie to them via distortions, distractions delusions and omissions. We all felt the pain and horror of that day, and many of us have lived ever since with 9/11 hanging over our heads and in our hearts, and we have seen those events eclipse our Constitution and democracy. Because of this, we have been easily emotionally manipulated and motivated ever since the attacks by the criminal corporate media. That is probably one of the most difficult realities to confront in all of this. Just think about the reactions of the newly awakened 9/11 truthers when they start to absorb the voluminous evidence that the criminal corporate media has hidden from them for all these years! Have you ever seen the movie Cape Fear? In the film, Max Cady is a criminal who is released after a long prison term. While Cady was in prison he teaches himself law, using the prison library. While in prison Max discovers that his lawyer had been in possession of evidence that might have affected the outcome of the trial. However, the lawyer had not disclosed any of it to either Cady or the jury. He did not allow the jury to see evidence that might have led them to conclude that Cady did not commit the crime of which he was accused. For those of you who saw the movie, you know how angry Cady was when he got out of jail. And you also know that Cady’s vengeance is taken out on his lawyer, not on the jury that actually put him in jail. Let me suggest that the in the theoretical Case of 9/11, you, the American people, are very much like the members of the jury, just as and the criminal corporate media parallel the lawyer in the film. In a sense, as you will see a bit later, you also become one of the condemned defendants in the case of 9/11. In attempting to influence the jury as they try to determine what happened on 9/11, the criminal corporate media, like Cady’s lawyer, withheld evidence from you, the jury. Based on the cherry-picked evidence selected and presented to you, you were intentionally misled to draw prescribed conclusions related to the case. As a result, you easily found the defendant guilty. As a matter of fact the media in this case made sure that you pre-convicted the prescribed accused before they even presented any evidence to you. But what you did not know when you reached your verdict was that you had not been allowed to see a massive amount of available evidence. The intent of the lawyer was to ensure a conviction, not to expose the truth. For example, in this predetermined trial, among so much more, you were never told about: * A large organized group of highly placed people with known motives to commit the crime in question had far better opportunity to do so. * Aspects of the crime that the accused could not possibly have carried out, such ordering NORAD not to follow procedures, preventing the US Secret Service from doing its job by immediately moving the president to a safe location once they knew the nation was under attack. * Eyewitness testimony directly relating to the events of that day. * Evidence of foreknowledge by people other than the accused. * Scientific evidence that contradicts the official story by stating that pools of molten metal (much hotter than burning jet fuel ) burned below the collapsed building for weeks, by questioning how the buildings could have collapsed at faster than free fall speed, and by challenging the scientific accuracy of evaporating planes and impossible maneuvers by jet airliners.. * And here is the more tragic irony. At the same time that you convicted a defendant on largely unsupported and highly unbelievable evidence, you actually sentenced YOURSELF as well. In this farce of a trial, you condemned yourself to an eternal post 9/11 nightmare world you could never have otherwise imagined! You sentenced yourself to accepting the elimination of your own Constitutional rights. You sentenced yourself to supporting the use of your tax dollars for egregious and illegal assaults on other nations. You sentenced yourself to allowing the reduction of funding for vital domestic programs. In a nutshell, you sentenced yourself to supporting a foreign and domestic policy that has weakened almost every imaginable aspect of our nation. All this has happened because evidence was withheld from you, making it impossible for you to seek the truth with any credible tools at your disposal. But, fortunately, that does not have to be the end of the story. I submit to you that the Internet has served the American people in the same way that prison library served Max Cady. As we read and access legitimate public records on the Internet, we see more and more of the evidence that the lawyer (the criminal corporate media) withheld from us. And with each piece of evidence we find, we understandably become more and more angry with the lawyer – in fact, the corrupt corporate media - who was supposed to work on our behalf! As a result, the criminal corporate media have a lot to fear. They have to fear the response of the American people who may one day discover that they not only withheld evidence from the public, but duped the people of this country into supporting the actual criminals who committed atrocities against them on 9/11. I learned this lesson before 9/11. I started TvNewsLIES.org while I still believed the official explanation of 9.11 but still had the US corporate media tagged as America’s #1 Enemy! I use 9/11 often in my writing because it is an issue that hits home with the American people. It is something they can understand. It is something that they experienced. The media have acted against the interest of the American people for generations, allowing a small group of powerful people to pretty much have their way with us and the planet in general.. Maybe 9/11 can serve as an eye opener and jolt the people into recognizing the US corporate media as the enemy. We don’t need media reform in this nation, we need media replacement. I often wonder what would happen if enough establishment institutions were to become really informed about 9/11. I have to believe that many Americans would probably accept the idea that 9/11 was an inside job and somehow justify it in their mind and heart. But I also wonder what would happen if a great many other people were like me and would not be OK with it. I often wonder how these people would react and who would be the target of their rage. But wondering aside, I know how I am reacting right now, and whom I want to punish. I am sure I am not alone when it comes to being angry with those who lie to protect the real criminals…and that’s why the media are becoming more and more terrified of any discussion about 9/11. Exposing the evidence can serve to wake up the millions of falsely imprisoned victims of their deception. And that can be fatal for the criminal corporate media. The 9/11 truth movement can only grow. It’s not about theories. It’s not about accusations. It’s not about speculation. It’s about the official public body of evidence and how much of it has been kept from us, misrepresented and in some cased totally fabricated. You don’t have to convince people of a theory; all you have to do is show them the evidence. And the longer the criminal corporate media continue to withhold evidence, the harder it will be to explain to the growing body of very angry Max Cadys out there, why they have done so. Think about it.

When you have spent years, countless days and nights researching this and reading governmental & parliamentary policy documents written by the very people I talk about then may be we can talk on more of a level playing field. I don't know what you want me to say or write?....but I can come to no other conclusion based on the vast amount of information I have witnessed. I can tell you one thing though; I certainly will not be influenced by people who have demonstrated a very limited understanding, who litter every primitive sentence with pointless name calling and write, and more importantly, think things like this: "We are the United States of America and we alone have the power to crush anyone, we dont need justification for shit. We could have just said F.U! and bombed both Afganinastan and Iraq back to the stone age and no-one would be able to do anything about it" - Improvisation, 6th April 2007. The problem is - You are....; Asking questions about areas that I have already covered in this and other threads too. Not reading all of what I have written - then making rash comments about the first few sentences I write. Furnishing your replies with far too much insulting language about my intelligence and only addressing about one percent of the information I write. Assuming that I don't know both sides of the argument in detail - a grave mistake on your part. Now, I'll say again....if you are not prepared to, or if you can't, act like an adult on this very serious matter then I suggest you go elsewhere to insult people because I don't wish to waste any more of my valuable time pointing out, what I assume to be extremely obvious flaws in the way to have conducted yourself. US to attack Iran by end of April: report From correspondents in Middle East, 03:00 PM IST The US is planning to attack Iran's nuclear reactors and other nuclear facilities by the end of this month, the Kuwait-based Arab Times newspaper reported Wednesday. Citing anonymous sources in Washington, it said that various White House departments had started preparing the political speech to be delivered by the US president later this month, announcing the military attack on Iran. The speech will provide the 'evidence' and the 'justification' for the US to resort to the military option after failing to persuade Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions, said the report. The ensuing attacks, cleverly designed to look like the work of Arabs, blasted and torched American and British targets.......... First, the Israeli terrorists firebombed the Alexandria Post Office. Then, they firebombed the U.S. Information Agency libraries - one in Alexandria, and one in Cairo. Then, they firebombed a British-owned Metro-Goldwyn Mayer theater, and a railway terminal, and the central post office, and a couple more theatres......To smuggle their bombs inside the buildings, the terrorists used devices shaped like books, hiding them inside book covers. Once inside, bags filled with acid were placed on top of the nitroglycerin bombs. After several hours, the acid ate through the bags and ignited the nitroglycerin, causing explosions and blazing infernos....... In the early 1950s, the United States was making fast friends with Egypt, taking advantage of the new pan-Arab Egyptian government of Gamal Abdel Nasser. The warming relationship between the US and Egypt caused a very insecure Israel to feel a bit threatened........... Nassar also had plans to nationalize the Suez Canal, which had been controlled by the British for decades. Egypt had been known to blockade Israeli shipping through the canal, and Israel feared Nassar would make a blockade permanent...... After U.S. President Eisenhower began encouraging the British to leave the Suez Canal Zone, Israel started looking for a way to make the British stay, and a way to remain best buddies with America....... And what better way to treat your best friend than to stab them in the back and tell them one of your other friends did it? David Ben Gurion, Israel’s founding prime minister, thought that Egyptian terrorist attacks against Americans would be a perfect way to cool the growing US/Egypt relationship. And, since there were no Egyptians planning attacks against Americans, Ben Gurion’s proteges did the next best thing: they recruited Israeli agents to PRETEND to be Egyptian terrorists. The top-secret Israeli terrorist cell, Unit 131, had existed since 1948.........In 1950, Israel’s Directorate of Military Intelligence, Aman, was created, and Israel sent an undercover agent, Colonel Avraham Dar (alias: John Darling, British citizen of the island of Gibraltar), to recruit more members to Unit 131. He also trained them how to build bombs and terrify Americans and British civilians working and living in Egypt...... Before the terrorist cell was activated, another Israeli agent named Avraham - Avraham Seidenberg — was sent to take control from Avraham Dar..... Seidenberg first went to Germany to establish an alias: he assumed the identy of Paul Frank, a former SS officer, complete with underground Nazi connections. By 1954 his new identity was in place and he went to Egypt to take command of Unit 131....... Unit 131 decided to call their terrorist plan Operation Suzannah. The name came from Susan Kauffman, the fiancee of Victor Levy, one of the Israeli terrorists. The name also referred to the unit’s call to action: the unit would activate when it heard an Israel radio broadcast of the American song, Oh! Susannah............ In the summer of 1954, Colonel Binyamin Gibli, the chief of Aman, arranged for the tune to be broadcast........ Israeli Terrorist Ring was then Busted.........Everything was going well for the Israeli terrorists it seemed. But, there was one thing the members of Unit 131 didn’t know: their terrorist sleeper cell had itself been infiltrated by the Egyptian intelligence service. The new Unit 131 leader, Seidenberg, had betrayed them to the Egyptians........... So, when Unit 131 member Philip Nathanson made his way to bomb the British-owned Rio theater in Alexandria, not only was he being followed; the Egyptian intelligence service had a fire engine waiting to put out the flames.......As Nathanson stood in the ticket line, his bad luck turned worse when one of the bombs in his pocket ignited, and then exploded...... Nathanson was burned but not killed. As nearby pedestrians shouted warnings and wondered if he was a suicide bomber, Egyptian policemen stepped in, calmed the crowd, and identified Nathanson as one of the terrorists who had been blowing up American and British buildings................ Nathanson was interrogated by Egypt’s military intelligence and confessed the whole plot, which led to more arrests. When the Israeli spies were given a public trail, all the details of their terrorist training in Israel came to light.... Former Israeli Prime Minister Ben Gurion and Israel’s Aman chief, Binyamin Gibli, tried to frame their own Defense Minister, Pinhas Lavon. They even offered forged documents as proof. The frameup worked for a while - so much so that the entire incident is still popularly known as the Lavon Affair. Lavon resigned, and Ben Gurion came out of political retirement to replace him as Israel’s Defense Minister...... However, the truth did finally emerge......... In 1960, a review of the inquiry discovered the fake documents, as well as perjury by Seidenberg. A committee of seven Cabinet members cleared Lavon. And, although Ben Gurion never admitted fault, he did resign his post as Defense Minister. ____________________________________________________________________________________ This next case is an important one.... Most Americans can’t conceive that officials at the highest levels of the U.S. Government would murder thousands of its own citizens to advance an empirical agenda. We should all, very carefully, think again… In 1962, the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff unanimously proposed state-sponsored acts of terrorism on American soil, AGAINST American citizens. The head of every branch of the U.S. armed forces gave written approval to sink U.S. ships, shoot down hijacked American planes, and gun down and bomb civilians on the streets of Washington, D.C., and Miami. The idea was to blame the self-inflicted terrorism on Cuba’s leader, Fidel Castro, so the American public....and the international community....would beg and scream for the marines to storm Havana. Another benefit would be the wave of patriotism that would spur American teens to join the Army, do the fighting and dying, and return home with bloody stumps in place of their limbs. But, put simply, starting a war with communist Cuba was the motivation for the Pentagon’s Northwoods plan. The public learned about Operation Northwoods 35 years later when the Top Secret document was declassified by the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Review Board. (The complete declassified Top Secret document can be read at George Washington University’s online archive: Northwoods Document.) Among other things, Operation Northwoods proposed: Faking the crash of an American passenger plane. The disaster was to be accomplished by faking a commercial flight from the U.S. to Jamaica, and having the plane boarded at a public airport by CIA agents disguised as college students going on vacation. An empty remote-controlled plane would follow the commercial flight as it left Florida. The commercial flight’s pilots would radio for help, mention that they had been attacked by a Cuban fighter, then land in secret at Eglin AFB. The empty remote-controlled plane would then be blown out of the sky and the public would be told all the poor college students aboard were killed. (Note: This was the favorite choice of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.) Using a possible NASA disaster — astronaut John Glenn’s death — as a pretext to launch the war. The plan called for “manufacturing various pieces of evidence which would prove electronic interference on the part of the Cubans” if something went wrong with NASA’s third manned space launch...... To turn neighboring countries against Cuba, false Cuban planes would be used to bomb the Dominican Republic. The U.S. plan called for using actual Soviet bombs, and intercepting fake Cuban weapons shipments, such that the frame-up of Cuba would be complete...... Blowing up buildings in Washington and Miami. Cuban agents (undercover CIA agents) would be arrested, and they would confess to the bombings. In addition, false documents proving Castro’s involvement in the attacks would be “found” and given to the press....... Blowing up a U.S. battleship in Cuban waters when Cuban planes and ships are in the area, so they can be blamed. A fake air/sea rescue operation was planned, as well as fake funerals and fake passenger lists published in the Main Stream Media to “cause a healthy wave of national indignation.” The document actually mentions how a similar incident — the US Maine false flag operation — successfully started the Spanish American War in 1898......... Attacking an American military base in Guantanamo with CIA recruits posing as Cuban mercenaries. This involved blowing up the ammunition depot, and would obviously result in material damages and many dead American troops. As a last resort, the plan even mentioned bribing one of Castro’s commanders to initiate the Guantanamo attack....... That deserves repeating: the Pentagon considered using our tax dollars to bribe another country’s military to attack our own troops in order to instigate a full-scale war.........Operation Northwoods was only one of several plans under the umbrella of Operation Mongoose........... ........Shortly after the Joint Chiefs signed and presented the plan in March, 1962, President Kennedy, still smarting from the Bay of Pigs fiasco, declared that he would never authorize a military invasion of Cuba............ In September, Kennedy denied the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Lyman Lemnitzer, a second term as the nation’s highest ranking military officer. And by the winter of 1963, Kennedy was dead…killed, ironically, by a Cuban sympathizer in the streets of an American city. Even more ironically, in 1975 President Ford appointed retired General Lyman Lemnitzer to the Commission on CIA Activities to investigate whether the CIA had committed acts that violated American laws........... ____________________________________________________________________________________ ...Now, The first World Trade Center bombing was provocateured by the government.....In 1993 the FBI planted their informant.....Emad A. Salem....within a radical Arab group in New York led by Ramzi Yousef. Salem was ordered to encourage the group to carry out a bombing targeting the World Trade Center's twin towers. Under the illusion that the project was a sting operation, Salem asked the FBI for harmless dummy explosives which he would use to assemble the bomb and then pass on to the group. At this point the FBI cut Salem out of the loop and provided the group with real explosives, leading to the attack on February 26 that killed six and injured over a thousand. There are some pretty disgusting scenes from the ROMA - MAN UTD game tonight - regarding trouble in the stands. I've seen some footage (as many of you probably have) of fans taunting the Darth Vader style Police there and some of the beatings the fans got was out of hand. Yes, there were a few fans that took things a little too far but seeing Police club at Man Utd fans many times while they were down on the floor is outrageous. That is way beyond what Police are meant to be about. Have a look for yourself when you get a chance....you can see some real thumpings given out and all the Police are in the Man Utd enclosure. Italy is pretty bad when it comes to the Police State and the way the Police dress & act over there has increased the tensions over recent years until now it is out of control. Thing is - what is the solution? More military style Police! Which is pretty much what seems to be happening everywhere.
