Anyone who renews a passport will have their details put on the national ID database - but will not have to get a card until 2010. The government has also accounted for those who plan to renew their passports before ID cards start being issued. Up until recently passports lasted for periods of ten years at any time. This meant that many were planning to renew right before it became compulsory to be issued with an ID card when renewing your passport in 2009, giving ten years of ID free existence. The government has put the brakes on such tactics by simply announcing, with no debate or legislation, that passports can now only be renewed for 9 months in advance.

I've got alot, a lot. And I when I say a lot mean....a lot. My brother and I have collected them since around them time shiver was released. I don't have a catalog saved in a text file but I'd dare say it would not be fun trying to write them all down. Nah, that's not how it works. You still will have to get your data onto the system, otherwise you won't be able to use your passport. It's either....have an I.D card with all your biometric data taken or have a passport with all your biometric data taken. Or neither and risk being fined, give up the ability to travel and many other things.

In further developments, more details emerged yesterday of how the government plans to sell access to personal information stored on the database to banks and other private companies, for around 60p a time, in order to finance the scheme which is expected to run into the billions according to studies by leading economic experts. A top firm of headhunters is already working for the government, seeking a consultancy expert to market the benefits of the database to the private sector. The government sold the idea of the ID card database by saying it would make our information more secure. Tony Blair said this would protect, not infringe our liberties. Selling the information of 44 million British citizens to private companies. How secure and protecting is that? Even the biometric information is to be outsourced as checks on applications and the like are to be shifted to places as far flung as Mumbai, Delhi and Islamabad. Joe public will not be allowed access to the ID database but whichever companies the government sees fit to sell the information to will. And of course the intelligence services will be given unprecedented access. You will of course have "voluntarily" given up your details, thus you will have no course of reciprocation at any time in the future. Recently leaked Whitehall documents have shown that ID cards will not be officially made compulsory for more than a decade, under present plans. “Compulsion will be triggered once 80% take-up is achieved in [the first quarter of] 2019,” they state. “It is assumed that, following compulsion, a 100% registration will be achieved two years later.” The same documents also revealed that children as young as 11 will also have their fingerprints taken and stored, even though the ID card bill specifically only applies to adults above the age of 16. The London Times reported: The leaked Home Office plans show that the mass fingerprinting will start in 2010, with a batch of 295,000 youngsters who apply for passports. The Home Office expects 545,000 children aged 11 and over to have their prints taken in 2011, with the figure settling at an annual 495,000 from 2014. Their fingerprints will be held on a database also used by the Immigration and Nationality Directorate to store the fingerprints of hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers. By that time most children will be accustomed to giving up their fingerprints as it is now becoming commonplace in schools up and down the country. Much to the anger of many parents, some schools are doing this relatively covertly, in one case children were even told they were "playing spies" and not to tell their parents. While unaware children are hoodwinked into being catalogued by the state, willing adult volunteers line up to lick the boots of the government who promise to keep them safe by taking scans of their eyeballs. The government itself has admitted that the information WILL NOT keep us safe from fraud and identity theft, nor will it prevent terrorism. So what exactly is the purpose of a biometric database? Of course, if you demand an answer to this question and refuse the system you will be issued with huge fines, equating to figures beyond the average monthly salary of the majority of people in this country. Furthermore, Town hall bureaucrats are to be given sweeping powers to investigate homes for identity card evasion and to impose heavy fines on occupants not registered on the database. The card is completely voluntary of course , yet if you say No to the ID card, the authorities will SWAT your home and you'll be crippled financially. You'll also no doubt be denied the right to free health care and free education. Buying and selling will be made almost impossible as cash machines, supermarket checkouts and other everyday items are linked in with the ID card database. The Government has stated at various times that it feels ID card reading capability could be built into future generations of credit card readers and ATMs. But the ID card will still be voluntary! You just won't be able to leave the country, own a house or a car, have a doctor, a bank account, a mobile phone, get an education, own a business, rent a room in a hotel, or have a job. You won't officially be authorized to live or die. But it's still voluntary!

They are also willing to comply with the ridiculous overbearing "solutions" to climate change that will just coincidentally restrict mobility and freedom of travel, regulate personal behavior, empower and expand global government and reinvigorate the surveillance state - everything Big Brother ever wanted - but surely they wouldn't lie to us about global warming to achieve it, would they? There's no time left for a debate they tell us - we don't want to hear about the medieval warm period, we don't want to hear about how temperatures dropped as carbon emissions increased for four decades from the 40's to the 80's, we don't want to hear about how the troposphere shows no build up of greenhouse gases, we don't want to hear about sun activity and its direct correlation with climate change, we don't want to hear about arctic ice samples showing how CO2 lags behind temperature increase - because global warming is our justification to do anything and we are going to do it whether you like it or not!

Well, that's the thing....people can reduce their carbon footprint all they want....people can be as 'green' as they wish and I am ALL for discontinuing the use of many harmful chemicals that are present in many area's of our lives......BUT....we should not be made to pay huge taxes and completely change our way of life (in terms of carbon) when it's down to pure lies and distortions. The complete list of lies we are being told about "the end of the world" that is down to carbon output by humans is a fraud, pure and simple. I've been aware of this for a long time now and this documentary addresses many of the main issues but it does not fully discuss the more sinister reasons behind the lies. It's all about manipulation of our lives again, it's always about that. We (and people like me) are not about being anti-green with this issue....it's about anti-lies.......Lies that have been cleverly spun for a long time now and that are now deep within us from childhood. Our world IS heating up - but so is every other planet in our solar system. And that is not down to human activity. Our Sun is cause and it's amazing how many professors have been bought off by our corrupt government’s lobbyists and submitted to signing off on false information - and also many could not have their names removed from reports, even after requests - and had to fight through the courts to achieve their signature removal. Questioning the global warming issue and motives behind it has indeed become comparable to holocaust denial. You seen as an enemy of the human race - just think about that.......how did we let this happen? So we need to get smart on this and not be taken for a ride, again.

Even the layman knows that any modern building is anchored by core columns, not "outside cladding," and the twin towers were no different. To rest a building's integrity on its "outside cladding" is a reversal of all commonly accepted architectural knowledge. Why was the World Trade Center website peddling this nonsense in contradiction with the words of the twin tower's own designers? Included in over a dozen examples compiled here, Frank A. Demartini, on-site construction manager for the World Trade Center, said that the towers could sustain "multiple impacts of jetliners" without collapsing. In addition, Leslie Robertson, one of the two original structural engineers for the World Trade Center, stated that, “The twin towers were in fact the first structures outside the military and nuclear industries designed to resist the impact of a jet airplane.” The twin towers were desgined to absorb airliner impacts by means of their 47 huge core columns. The twin towers could not be compromised simply by damaging their "outside cladding," such a claim is patently absurd and why it was immediately peddled as an explanation for their collapse is highly suspect. Later in the clip, the anchor comments, "It is completely enveloped in smoke, it is on fire, and we understand that this other tower is also in a situation of near collapse." Since no modern steel building had collapsed from fire damage alone and the fires were almost out, as described in the firefighter tapes, to forecast that the towers were about to crumble, a fortuitous act of clairvoyance that was also enjoyed by Rudy Giuliani, was an impossible prediction to make unless a pre-planned script was already circulating. There are also videos of "experts" in news studios and even eyewitnesses on the ground intricately detailing why the towers collapsed within minutes and hours of them falling. As the video below makes clear, if a crime were committed and immediately afterwards "experts" appeared on the scene claiming knowledge that no one could possibly have about the crime, would this be in the least bit suspicious? Shortly after the collapse of the towers, a "random" eyewitness on the street interviewed by Fox News states with perfect clarity, "I witnessed both towers collapse, one first and then the second - mostly due to structural failure because the fire was just too intense." The individual sounds like he is reading a prepared statement. There is no "I think" or speculation in the statement, it's boldly proclaimed as an undoubted fact, despite the many reports of additional explosions relayed by firefighters, first responders and journalists that preceded the towers' collapse. How did this "average Joe" manage to get ahead of NIST and FEMA in clearly annunciating what would later become the official cover story - especially considering that by the time the towers collapsed most of the "intense" fires had been replaced by oxygen starved black smoke? In addition, more BBC video from the day of 9/11 has been unearthed in which a correspondent, within hours of the towers coming down, claims the reason for the collapses is because of their design. He then provides blatantly false information about the designs to justify the statement, without referring to any sources and negating the fact that the towers had 47 massive central core columns. The news anchors in the Channel 5 clip also make mention of a car bomb at the State Department and the bombing of a shopping mall in Washington DC. These were not rumors generated as a result of "confusion" as is often the defense - the anchor cites a "senior U.S. law enforcement official" as the source. Why did officials inform the news agencies of these events when in hindsight we know they never happened? The State Department bomb report was also picked up by Forbes, who attributed it to "State Department sources." Reports of suspicious packages would be expected in a time of such hysteria but can "confusion" account for reports of actual bombings attributed to senior officials? It is commonly accepted that the breadth of the 9/11 attack was planned to be larger in scope because Flight 93 did not reach its target. Were the State Department and Washington Mall "bombings" intended to go ahead but for whatever reason failed or were called off? Was the media fed the script too early as in the case of Building 7? By the evening of September 11, following a "perimeter walk around our building," the State Department publicly stated that no such bombing had taken place. Why were senior State Department officials telling the media that there had been a bombing without even conducting a basic appraisal of the building's perimeter? Can this all be put down to "confusion" or were some elements of the 9/11 script changed according to how events were unfolding on the day?
