  1. Cuz people are (a) clueless about Pit = closest, or (b) they're lazy about standing for hours (in line, then during concert)
  2. Hi Liz! I wish I could go to DC with you  Yes, I want to go to another concert that has a Pit. Otherwise, I don't see the point :dozey: I mean, I have a good seat for Tampa, section after the orchestra, which is kinda small at this venue (like 10 rows) I have no clue why there are still some Pit tickets available for DC and Atlanta :stunned: They were gone in CT, Pittsburg, and one of the upstate NY concerts in 1 day. What I don't get is that people found the Pit tickets on the general sale. Did you check if it said "Pit tickets" during the pre-sale or did it showed up on the general sale?
  3. There's still PIT tickets available for DC and Atlanta, I don't know what to do :uhoh: I have to wait til tomorrow for the general sale in West Palm. People in Atlanta did, and that's when they were able to buy Pit tickets, which didn't show up on the pre-sale. Good Lord, there should be a pit in West Palm. I mean, c'mon, give us the dang pit GA standing tickets! :bigcry:
  4. In that specific order? Hooray for Shiver, Glass of Water, and the non-remixes of Talk and GPASUYF! :D
  5. Usually, when I don't want to be friends with someone, I either ignore them (on Facebook or on real life) and move on thinking it's not a big deal. I think this time I freaked out at the tought of him liking me (yuck!). He's not my type AT ALL, and he thinking that I was attracted to him because I talked to him and was nice (just as I am with everybody), is just ridiculous :laugh3: Seriously, it happens that some guys think you like them if you're nice to them. I mean, WTF!!??? Are YOU gonna think a person likes you or is interested in you because she or he is being nice to you? Good Lord, your self-esteem is sky high, but you're an ass (in my opinion). Either way, even if he just wanted to be my friend, why was he so agressive in his pursuit? Doesn't he know friendships take time to build? what's with this notion of "Fast-friends"? I hate MySpace, but now I hate Facebook too. It makes friendships so trivial. Look at how this guy thought that by being friends on Facebook after talking to me ONCE we would become buddies/pals/BFFs  Besides, he was a dental assistant, while I was a client/customer. Befriending this person, even on Facebook, is weird. Same thing with befriending your mechanic, or the supermarket cashier, or your co-workers, or your teacher/ Teacher's assistants, or your butcher.
  6. ^I know the seating chart doesn't show a pit, but who knows? it didn't show one for the venues that do have a put until the day of the general sale. Maybe West Palm will get a Pit.
  7. Hey JustSpies and dfit000! I think we should check on Monday to see what tickets are offered on the general sale. But not exactly at 10am, more lik at 10:30 am or so.
  8. ^Yes, that's still fine if you wanna show up almost when the concert starts. You'll still be close. It's just me who would wait in line to be right up front because (a) I'm short, as in 5'1''. Thus, I'll be screwed if I'm not in the front :/ (b) I love Coldplay so [or any other concert with a Pit I went to really]
  9. ^Just read between pages 12 and 16 of this very own thread and you'll see posts by people who are vey happy with their pit tickets
  10. ^Pit tickets are AWESOME! I wish the Tampa show had them! You'll have to wait in line for a couple of hours, but it's worth it!
  11. Oh my goodness, thanks for the tip! I'm gonna try to see if the Pit tickets show up for the West Palm Beach concert on the general sale on Monday
  12. ^Librahi, you got Pit tickets for which concert? Gosh, what pisses me off is the only a few venues have a Pit area. If all the venues had a Pit, then I would be as mad as I get sometimes. I don't get it, No Doubt will be here on June, and there is a pit, and you can buy the ticket and wait in line for hours like a mega fan will do. Why Coldplay didn't demand having a Pit at every venue?
  13. The stadium being nearby is cool, but for most people, they'll be driving 30 minutes, an hour, or longer. Some might come from South Florida or North Florida, 4-5 hours either way :stunned: I read on the newspaper that this concert would go on sale on April 18. Yet there's nothing on the U2 website. Guess journalists can find out anything pretty much  In other news, I made a thread on The Lounge, which now has a poll. I admit it's a long story of something that happened to me recently that was a bit traumatizing. Just want to know what you think, and if I did the right thing to solve it. Thanks! :)
  14. Hi everyone! specially Carla! :nice: I created a thread about an issue that I had, and now I added a poll. Could you please visit and comment whenever you can? Thanks!
  15. ^I think she means the liquid transparent glue
  16. I like that option!

^wait, I did have a root canal. Had to see the endodontist. Then got a crown, now I have a fake tooth :chinese:
  18. ^I'm more like a U2 casual fan. I know some of their previous work. I start following them with "All that you can't leave behind"
  19. Zooropa is the eighth studio album by the Irish rock band U2. Originally intended as an EP,[1] it was recorded between legs of the Zoo TV Tour and released on 6 July 1993 by Island Records as a full-length album. The album continues the band's experimentation with alternative rock and electronic music from their previous album Achtung Baby. Much like that album, Zooropa was critically and commercially successful. The album's title is a combination of "Zoo TV" and "Europa." Source: Wikipedia

Oh, I had five fillings done on December and January. I had not gone to the dentist in almost 5 years. My mom got a better job that offers a dental plan.
  21. Bye Zooropa? (yes, go ahead and kill me for such a lame joke) :laugh3:
  22. I think there's a thread about it. All I know is that Elbow will be opening in Tampa. Nope, I'm going to West Palm (May 15, US tour opener) whatever it takes. I'll be done with the semester, so I can reward myself with this
  23. ^hahaha, I think I'm better off just trying to go to the concert in West Palm Beach. Yeah, I'll spend some money, but way less than flying to NYC or DC
  24. you mean 1/2 mile below me? :laugh3: I would die if Snow Patrol was the opening act, but I think The Black Eyed Peas will open (nothing against them, I just like Snow Patrol waaaaaaaaaaay more) Anyway, I've been thinking if I should go crazy and buy a Pit ticket for this concert or for DC. Mmmmmm.....
