I might be going crazy but every live performance of Fix You I've heard, it sounds like it gets faster 2 seconds after Johnny starts playing the main guitar riff. Why do they do that you think? :o Or... why am I going crazy?:thinking:

I just re watched the concert on iTunes and they took out the part where Chris talks about the missing Malaysia plane before Fix You. Why is that cut out?

So he's not going to be one of the main judges who sit in the chair and push the button right? He's more like behind the scenes to help the contestants for an episode I think. No reason to freak out. That's like the same as him appearing on Jimmy Fallon for an episode or something.

I think what most people are hearing and thinking it's autotune is just the harmonizer he's using. It just takes his voice, automatically copies it and shifts it up and down. So it sounds less human. But if Chris was singing out of tune the harmonization would be out of tune too. With that being said, a bit of pitch correction might have been used here and there but pretty much every artist will do that in the studio. I love the song though :) I wanted them to go down a darker road forever and do something that is non commercial and shows their musicianship.

Ever since I have been on this site, everytime I checked the Coldplay subforum it would say that 100-200+ people were viewing it. I liked it. I felt cozy. Now after the new board update. It only says about 14 people are viewing it. I don't think there was that much of a change. So something must be glitched. But whats glitched? Was it glitched before? There was never 200 people viewing the sub forum? Or is it glitched now? It mean seem stupid but it always amazed me how there was always 200+ people in the Coldplay forum. It made the forum have a not so lonely feel to it. Like it was crowded and full of energy. Was I being lied to all these years? D:

We all know Coldplay tries to not to the same thing every album. And I believe we all felt kind of worried before Mylo Xyloto (at least I did) because we knew they hadn't done that "pop" album yet and it would make sense for them to do so since that's usually what big bands tend to change do... So since they already did that with Mylo Xyloto, and pretty well too I must say, this is one of the most exciting times for me to be a Coldplay fan since I really have no idea how their sound will be. All the possible sounds I thought they could do, they have already done. And the genre I thought would be the worst has already been done so I'M JUST SO PUMPED. I HOPE I DON'T HYPE IT UP TOOO MUCH.

Every time a singer from my favorite bands decides to do a solo album, the next band album is never anything close to their previous works. (The Killers, Radiohead... especially the Killers ughh.) It's like the solo disease. Once they go solo, when they go back to their main band it still sounds like a solo album. I have a feeling it would be different with Coldplay but I wouldn't want them to take that risk.
