  1. It was a breeding ground for Al Qaeda way before the US & UK liberated it. How could the US & UK arm the citizens without overthrowing Sadam though? is that what you are saying? Or are you saying otherthrow Sadam, then get out of there and give the citizens help on how to do it?
  2. no sorry but maybe it says the location in that documentary where he plays wedding bells/christmas lights, i forget the name of the show even though its world famous!!
  3. Hi everyone, didnt realise this was here, Im not new, I think I already have some friends and some people that hate me. Anyway my name is Mark, I have been a coldplay fan since yellow and Im sure I always will be. I am into alot of other diverse music but not to the extreme of Coldplay, the only band that comes close is radiohead. I am the owner of a signed Coldplay platinum award which I bought from a charity event. Im too scared to display it. There is a photo somewhere of coldplay receiving it but i cant find it anywhere! I am a designer for a company that supplies all the signage to most of the stores in the UK, Tesco, Ford, KFC etc... Which i enjoy, plus its funny to go into the stores and see your signs all over the country. I also am a freelance artist. If anyone would like a painting done then please message me for details! I play guitar & piano and I am obsessed with science! I love to learn and am scared of ever being ignorant! I love to cook and im also obsessed with healthy eating, (Im sure I have OCD) Well thats all I can think of at the moment. I doubt many of you will make it to this sentence, you probably stopped reading when i said "radiohead" lol.
  4. lol yeh i know you did, just the others that are asking questions like " so chris isnt a vegetarian" etc...
  5. we used to have it, it was called the bronze age. I stand by the comment, pie in the sky im afraid. Unification and a world government is the route the future will take us, not devolution. Our civilization will have to become Type 1 or Type 2 to survive in the future anyway. Throughout history we are reminded that combining governments, tribes, etc is a benefit to the nations.
  6. are any of you people reading the comments?? i said at the start he is a pesco vegetarian, that is not a vegetarian. To be a vegetarian you cannot eat any animal.
  7. lol theres no point, the oracle said that even if any number of people sign it, its not gonna happen. I hold out hope for a future DVD called, "Coldplay - The ultimate Live DVD" which has all the eras on it. lets petition for that!
  8. It annoys me because it would be so easy to do, they did it for free with LRLRL so why not get the dvd out for money? The X&Y live videos are amazing, i really dont understand why they are reluctant to release them, swallowed in the sea live from toronto was about a trillion times better than the album version, all of their live stuff is!!! DAMNN YOU ORACLE OR WHOEVER PULLS THE STRINGS!
  9. We cannot accurately predict no, but by looking around the world we can see that the removal of dictatorship and the implementation of democracy leads to a more stable, prosperous environment. perhaps twenty years is a bit soon, but I am convinced that Iraq will benefit from the liberation, I think alot of people have heard so much about the failures of the war that they no longer realise that the removal of Sadam was a great event, and that he had held a tight grip over the wealth, health and lives of the Iraqi people. He defied international law many times, he probably was developing WOMD despite the independant findings, (One of Iraqs chief scientists was killed after he made claims that there were WOMD). They were just good at hiding the evidence.
  10. Its a nice idea but almost impossible. I think the government deserve more credit from the public to be honest, There are so many unknown problems, decisions and immense pressures that politicians have to face, all of which are thankless tasks. Co-operation is what happens in the governments of the world anyway, they are a microcosm of their countries in most cases, but if everyone had a direct say it would be complete chaos.
  11. Your missing the point, I conceded there was a tragic human cost but if you come back in 20 years you will see an entirely new country that will have benefited beyond measure from the removal of Sadam. To simply answer you second point, There are people that want to take Iraq backwards into corruptness, the war isnt over yet.
  12. lol i agree with this, he couldnt become anymore respected, he would become a living god.
  13. No Sadam and the terrorists did, they people recieved nothing. Sadam spent all that wealth on palaces and developing weapons, thats a fact, you can find the information anywhere.
  14. You could visit the tunnel from the fix you video? im not sure of location other than its in London but a simple google search will probably give you some results. Also you could visit Primrose Hill (correct me if im wrong) as it was the inspiration for Violet hill. Also you could visit their University, UCL, which is easy to find. Just being in London reminds me of coldplay. There are probably tonnes more locations but they are just a few obvious ones off the top of my head.
  15. I think the oracle said there wouldnt be one
  16. The kind that before the war they had a murderous dictatorship, now they have a government. How is that "fucked up"?
  17. Hmm Im not sure, by initial guess is that it was around 2002-3. I was watching that documentary episode from the south america tour recently and he said he wasnt a real vegetarian and that he is what is known as a pescotarian/pesco-vegetarian which means he eats fish. He also went on to say he based his eating style on whatever he thinks he would be okay killing, to which he said he could and has killed chickens. So im not too sure what he is?
  18. LOL really?? It would be cool if it spoke in his voice
  19. lol everyone is either against the government, thinks it should be abolished or doesnt give a damn!
  20. Yes i am dense, wtf do you mean?
  21. 1. You're the one that said you didnt want to get into it. 2. As some other guy said this is a pie in the sky so i dont think it deserves real criticism. 3. People put millions of hours into circulating conspiracy theories, myths & nonsense so that doesnt mean a thing. This could never work, what would happen to criminals, what would happen to the sick, who would educate our children? 4. You may dismiss these questions as elementary but if you cant effectively answer them your idea of non government cannot possibly work. You are increadibly naive to even consider this.
  22. well teach me then, what have i said that you disagree with?
  23. There is a reason why no country adopts this. It wouldnt work.
