Fact: There are people on here that always feel the need to start shit. They post stuff with no other objective than to inflame people. To you I say: get a fucking life! You're not being cool. Ok the first post was over the top and and more of a joke than a serious post, although i do think coldplay are the best band ever. Yes I can read and i get what you are saying. I agree with what you said about not connecting with the songs on viva and that it's ok not to like everything by coldplay but i take issue with what you said about it being unhealthy to listen to just one band... As i said before i dont listen to just one band but there are no rules when it comes to music. Im sure people that only listen to coldplay have heard other music in their lifetimes but if they dont like it...then they dont like it...its unfair to label them "unhealthy" because of your particular views. Also I agree that people should be more tolerant of other peoples musical tastes and should never insult someone over it...that should really go without saying. This should also apply both ways to the people that love coldplay just a bit too much.

what is all this fangirl bullshit?? and how is it "unhealthy" to listen to only coldplay? thats nonsense. you cant help it if one band is all you like. For the record i listen to lots of diverse music but i dont think there are any rules with regards to who you listen to. Music is an individual thing so nobody should feel ashamed for liking every coldplay song. Also i think alot of people on here are agreeing with briggins to pretend they are not obsessed with coldplay. just be honest with yourselves, you clearly are. and so am I.

MY stance - Coldplay are the best band ever. ALL of their songs are amazing. A rush of blood is the best album of all time and forever. Impossible to beat. They are the best live band in the universe (even though not all bands in the universe can be witnessed coldplay win by default due to sheer brilliance). Viva is their weakest album but still better than any other bands best material. Radiohead are amazing but compared with coldplay are like a lightbulb to the sun. U2 are a candle. Snow patrol are a lit match. Chris martin is a musical genius. The Viva demos are better than anything ever by anyone ever.
