I love that Transatlantism is 8min long and I still don't get enough of it. This is an intervention. GO download something else. Sometimes, I can spend days only listening to the Coldplay discography (Heck, I once spent 9 hours at work and I played Coldplay in the background THE WHOLE TIME) However, try to get something else, so you'll miss them. And listening to them again will be even more magical.

I liked the 30sec piece of "1234" that aired on tv but I never thought about putting it on my Ipod.

Sometimes I'm more offended when I hear some Rihanna's songs (even though I like it (sue me!)). I always see girls from 4 to 11 signing "C'mon Rude Boy, can you get it up" or "it feels so good being bad" :laugh3:

hmmmm how about "love the way you lie" and "Not afraid" by Eminem. They played the shit of out those crap songs and I don't think there is a more violent song on radio in the last 5 years than those 2. At least, in "pumped up kicks", the boy is WARNING the others. He hasn't done anything yet. School shooting is a sad reality and a subject that needs to be brought up. I like the song but I don't love it. Also I made up my own happy ending for the song. The shooter will resolve all his daddy issues and will throw his gun on the river.

WOW they are really promoting the hell out of this album. I love it. Just yesterday, I heard a commercial on KIIS about the release on Oct. 24. I don't want nothing less than 1 million copies sold in the first week.

Hype Williams is too expensive to be dumped! This is definitely for a 2nd video.

Im not fond of the crappy live version but I'm giving it the benefice of the doubt until I hear the real thing. You must really hate ETIAW and Paradise if you think that the bootlegged, hurt your ears, cat screaming version of POC that has nothing special for you is still better than those songs :laugh3:

In the US, music videos usually come out after the single. ETIAW was released on June 3rd and the video came out on June 28th.

Paradise is DONE. They filmed it on Sept. 12 and one month is actually a normal waiting time. Usually music videos are released between 3 and 5 weeks after the shooting.

You're kinda right but you get my point. Technically Paradise is the 1st official single. ETIAW was a street single. Personally, I agree with you even though we are kinda wrong.

I don't really think that the location matters. ETIAW was filmed in an old and abandoned warehouse. Shiver in a living room Talk in a studio etc... Charlie Brown HAS TO be the 2nd single and POC 3rd.

Nope, it's up to the label and how they want to promote the song, what market they want to target etc... Right now, they are targeting the Rock audience only. A good example of this strategy is Walk by The Foo Fighters. That song has been #1 on the rock charts for more than a month and it's not even top40 on the Hot100. That doesn't mean the song is not doing well. These kinda things also happen on the Country charts (a song can be #1 for months but still fail to chart well on the Hot100) But any top10 on the Pop charts is very likely to become a top 10 on the Hot100. Pop stations just dominate everything.

My guess is Charlie Brown will be the 2nd single but it can be anything. Let the crazy, smart and ridiculous speculations begin!!!
