Haven't posted in awhile, it's great to be back! I listened to the album last night, heard it 3 times already through today. Dark, gritty, organic, progressive, atmospheric....it's like VLV and Ghost Stories with more social commentary, but not overly political which is great in my book. Favorites: Church, Arabesque, Broken, Everyday Life I'm sure that list will change soon, as I'm slowly getting used to the other songs too. Quite experimental and unusual, which I love. Hopefully the band will pick a few from this album to play live when the next "proper" one comes out next year, there are some great gems on this record. However, I can understand not touring this album as it's quite dark and I'm unsure how some songs would translate to a live show, at least in the usual "party" atmospheres that are usually live. Brilliant stuff !

I found some $179 ones but they were at the back. Gave them up to try for others, nothing. :( Keep trying throughout the day and weekend. Sometimes venues release seats based on promoter sales, givebacks and so forth. Sometimes they hold seats back until general sales. I don't understand their methodology but it does happen. Don't give up friends!

I'm hoping that they release a mega-limited edition special vinyl set for Ghost Stories. Yes, I'm a vinyl junkie....:D

Internet hoax according to Morgan himself: LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Actor Morgan Freeman said on Sunday that he did not issue a statement blaming the media for sensationalizing the Newtown School shootings that left 20 children and several adults dead. The award-winning actor added that he never made or posted the statement that became a Facebook and Internet sensation, saying it was a hoax. His publicist Stan Rosenfield told TheWrap that the actor's camp was trying to determine the origin of the hoax statement. "It's because of the way the media reports it," the phony statement read in part. "Turn on the news and see how we treat the Batman theater shooter and the Oregon mall shooter like celebrities. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris are household names, but do you know the name of a single 'victim' of Columbine? "Disturbed people who would otherwise just off themselves in their basement see the news and want to top it by doing something worse and going out in a memorable way. Why a grade school? Why children? Because he'll be remembered as a horrible monster instead of a sad nobody." The hoax statement also takes CNN to task over its use of the phrase "body count" in relation to the Newtown shootings and said the news coverage would incite more killings.
