there are tons of good schools in the States, you'd be better off narrowing it down to a region you'd like to be in and searching from there. Many of the state school systems (for example University of California, U of Texas) are excellent and have branches all over that state. Also, if you have an idea of what you'd like to study, you can find out which specific schools have better programs in that field. good luck! :)
