  1. Be patient, this album isn't going to be released until after the festivals are done. They need all their time to promote it. Maybe a single, I think that may be more realistic.
  2. MartinFan replied to Pris's topic in Coldplay
It is sad he had to justify what most of us on here understood as a legal sample from the movie/song. Some people on here shit on him for stealing the chords, when he had every knowledge of it, AND had permission.
  3. Being a fan for 10 years, I have watched every aspect of this band mature, I am in love with each album, all for different reasons, and LP5, I will love with as much gusto as the ones that have come before it. I enjoyed the music, the look, and the live performances of all the albums. The changes I look forward to with each one. They never, ever, have let me down musically or performance wise.:)
  4. Know it all:lol:
  5. This is what was just emailed to me. Dear Regal Patron: I regret to inform you that the Coldplay Glastonbury 2011 Event that you purchased advanced tickets for has been cancelled. Please contact our Customer Relations Department by calling 1-877-TELL-REGAL, option 2 to receive a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have cause you… Clint Roberts Customer Relations Manager Operational Services Regal Entertainment Group 7132 Regal Lane Knoxville, TN 37918
  6. Well I wrote the Oracle, but she didn't answer yet:\ I think if you do it before the 25th you should be okie dokie:D
  7. KEEP CALLING..... If you don't and the 25th rolls round and you show up to see this, you will not, most likely get a refund. I'm sorry, but I am 99 percent sure, this is a cancellation of all show's worldwide.:(
  8. I bought thru Fandango online, then called the Regal Cinema, the manager told me to bring the printed out tickets to the box office and I would get a full refund, also they would give me free movie tickets for my trouble, BUT you need to do this before JUNE 25th. Make sure you ask for some free movie tickets if they were not offered to you, it's their policy to do so.
  9. I think if they made a concert full of Disney tunes, I would still have to go:lol:
  10. You are our leader...............................
  11. Oh your welcome, I hate it's bad news to report on:(
  12. I think there will be no showings anywhere! THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!! Coldplay have made me sad twice now in Florida, this and the cancelled Tampa show!!!<< well Chris was sick, so I can't be too mad.
  13. Being a comma, is a brief pause to life, meaning enjoying everything around you, instead of being stopped and sat in a dead end life, not enjoying anything.
  14. I asked the Oracle, but I have a feeling it might not be Coldplay themselves, I blame EMI. Either EMI, or Coldplay doesn't want the show shown in concert form just yet!:( I'm pissed tho.
  15. I know this will be merged with the other thread, but wanted to at least make sure people will see this!!!! With all the cancellations of different movie theaters outside of the US, I looked on Fandango where I purchased these tickets, and saw I couldn't purchase anymore, so I called the box office and the manager told me that all showings in the area have BEEN CANCELLED, this came from the Corporate Headquarters. Please call your local cinema and talk with the manager and see if your show has been cancelled, because if so, you need to return your tickets for full refund by JUNE 25th!!!! They are giving me movie passes for my trouble:veryangry2: If I can find a corporate # or email, I will pass it along and you can complain or at least find out why this happened.
  16. She didn't say Peter Allen sang it in this movie, "Ritmo de la Noche" was done by Lorca, but they ONLY sang it, Peter Allen wrote and performed this song in the 70's when you were not even thought about yet, so that is why they are listed as the writers, Peter Allen also wrote the music for it. Coldplay sampled a taste of it, and there's nothing wrong with that. For those of you who like Hugh Jackman he portrayed Peter in a musical on Broadway and sang this same song. Here's Peter singing it.
  17. Contactmusic.com 6/3 A spokesperson for Coldplay has defended the British rockers after they were accused of copying their latest single from a 1990s dance track, insisting the similarities are intentional. The band's new track Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall debuted on Friday (03Jun11), but many fans were quick to point out that it sounds a lot like a song called Ritmo De La Noche, which has been recorded by acts including Mystic, the Sacados and Chocolate. A representative for the band has now confirmed Coldplay collaborated with songwriters Peter Allen and Adrienne Anderson, whose original tune I Go To Rio was used in Ritmo De La Noche. The rep also reveals frontman Chris Martin wrote Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall after hearing Allen and Anderson's work featured in Javier Bardem's recent film Biutiful, telling Scotland's Daily Record, "Chris was inspired to write the song after watching the film Biutiful by Alejandro Gonzalez. In the film, there is a nightclub scene - during which a track is playing in the background, based on I Go To Rio by Peter Allen and Adrienne Anderson. As a result, Allen and Anderson are also credited as writers on Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall." Coldplay were sued by guitar great Joe Satriani in 2008 after he accused them of plagiarising his 2004 song If I Could Fly in their hit single Viva La Vida. The case was settled out of court.
  18. You don't have to leave or take a break, I'm sure you can find things on here that still interest you, just don't click on threads you know will upset you.
  19. Awww, Hi Zigster:D step aside, I'm gonna be a Nana in Sept:D
  20. After the last week of teasers and excitement of trying to figure out all the clues the boy's have left for us, I should have never started reading this thread!! It makes me sad that a select few have decided to start ragging on the band, and attacking a close member of this Band who does so much for us as fans!!! Debs didn't deserve one ounce of the uncalled for names, she also didn't need nor should have to come to "defend" a song that is clearly a beautiful, upbeat, NEW, release by Coldplay. Coldplay have been apart of my life for 10 years, and I am proud to say I am turning 49 next week, so I am one of the oldies on here. I have been around, and seen so much music over my life, and I was drawn to this band, and over the years have watched them grow, and put out the best music, best live concerts, and have such a warm connection to their fans, and go out of their way to treat their fans with respect, far better than any other band in the world, IMO. Ok Mom's done now:rolleyes:
  21. :lol:No sorry a wife beater is actually a white looking tank top with thin shoulders, this shirt is like James Dean....... Very sexy might I add:rolleyes:
  22. Lo & Loud ...... Thank-You so much for your info, and the time you took to type up that mini review for everyone that sits here waiting for any kind of feedback concerning this show!!! Thanks!!!!!
  23. That's me too, except for Christmas Lights, I loved that as soon as I heard it:P
