I WANNA JOIN IN! :D This is a poem I wrote for English and it's the ONLY one I'm proud of I've EVER written ever :wacko: tis very emo!! Liars When every single step you take fills you up with pain And you're always looking for a break though y uknow you look in vain And when every morning that you wake dread seeps cold through your brain When every grinning face you fake is part of some sick refrain: And through the fray, the disarray, you make your way, day after day, You hurry down the lane With every single step you take, you leave a liar in your wake and stifle your groans of pain. The liars sneer as you walk by hurrying so slowly, going nowhere far too fast, you might be seperate from the lies they lie, you keep away from their peering eye but the rallying flag against them's drooping ever quicker to half-mast the ones that fought against them are drifting back into the past now there's no one standing with you and it looks like you're the last. The schemers and liars all surround you and the honest are so few! "That's just the way it is" they say. But it feels so wrong when every day they try to get you to obey you try to shoo them all away but all they ever do is stay, They're ruining this world with all their talk and cheating play They're always trying to get you to talk their talk and walk their walk and pray what they pray and say what they say, day after day after day after day And there's nothing you can do, there's nothing left for me to say! I hope people like it :sweatdrop:
