  5. I... swim. Competitively. And I'm actually pretty good. I could probably whoop this entire forum's ass (at least on breastroke.) WOOO! 5923th in the nation for the 200 LCM breastroke with a time of 3:11.95 in the Kentucky Long Course State Championships, July 24th, 2008, BABY! F'kyeah! XD okay when I put it that way, it doesn't sound that impressive. But 5923th in the entire country is... Alright, it SOUNDS like it sucks, but I could STILL WHOOP YOUR ASS. DON'T CRUSH MY SELF-CONFIDENCE. NYEH.

Noonsun! um, because it sounds cool... and I use it on the interwebs, like, constantly. Cuz it's like, noon (which is a good word) and sun (which is good because we couldn't, you know, exist without it) and I like it because it sounds all warm and yellow and nice.
  7. The Fray's amazing. Their lyrics are really good, and so is their music. And they're all such nice people. And Isaac Slade is a really good vocalist. And they're good. :D Actually, I think they're sort of trying to copycat Coldplay, because they're so nice... and Coldplay are nice... so... yeah.
  8. So now I actually have an avatar, so I think I'll play. I give yours a 9, because if you look at it it looks like it's shaking. Yay for trippyness! ^-^ ...or maybe someone just slipped something in my soda...

Ouch, man. I've known people who are anorexic, and my friend has a family member who has cancer, and I've gotta say, it's going to be a long, hard road ahead of you. The best thing for the person who is anorexic is to NOT GET ANGRY at them. Let them know that you're there for them, and you should insist on medical help or therapy. Most anorexic people only really open up at a pretty late stage. And you have to remember that anorexia nervosa is REALLY a nervous disorder. It's a sickness, and fixing it isn't going to be easy. The best thing to do is get a qualified specialist and always be ready to support them in every way. Good luck with your friend, man. Get them help, and stay with them, and they'll probably be able to get over it.
  10. Something funny happened at school today. I was in the hallway listening to my iPod before school started (I think I was listening to Speed of Sound) and I was sort of bouncing back and forth to the music because a) I'm hyper like that sometimes and b) I had just had a lot of sugar for breakfast. One of my semi-crazy death-metal headbanger gothic friends was all like, "What are you listening to?" So I took one earphone out of my ear, stuck it in theirs (saying "oh, you probably won't like it") and then they're all like, "Hey, this is actually pretty soothing. It's a good break from what I normly listen to," etc. etc. And then, "What is it?" And then he started bouncing a little too (probably because he eats raw sugar for breakfast just like me.) "It's Speed of Sound," I said. "Do you like it?" "Who's it by?" "...Coldplay." "What?" My friends eyes practically popped out of his head. "You listen to Coldplay?" "...Evidently." (My witty repartee for the day. :P) "But... Coldplay sucks!" "No... not all their songs are really that bad. Granted, they can be overplayed sometimes, but I like a bunch of them. And I thought you liked this," I added, pointing to his head, which was still bobbing cheerfully away. He stopped. "Oh... yeah..." And then we both started laughing. And he still had the earphone in his ear until the bell rang and we had to go and start a NEW EXCITING DAY OF LEARNING. It was very funny. (When one of his freinds asked what we were listening to, he cut me off and made up some death-metal sounding "indie" band that "you probably haven't heard of." Haha. I started laughing so hard.) I think my friend is a closeted Coldplay liker. There are a lot of them, actually. I know a few who listen to them once their ears are going to bleed from the music they normally listen to. I think it's ranked just a little above the Jonas Brothers on the Deathmetal Music Coolness Scale. So yeah. It was funny.
  11. Has anyboy ever had Korean/Japanese shrimp fries? They're like french fries, but, with, you know, shrimp. They're very yummy. Especially if you don't like shrimp, oddly enough. O.o Wasabi peas are good too... they're kind of like drugs, actually. :P
  12. ........I don't have one. I can't think of a good one. (Anyone have any suggestions?)
  13. OHMIGOSH I HAVE A GOOOOOD ONE!! pantpant 773 When it's really crowded and everyone's facing toward the door, FACE THE OTHER WAY! I've done this. It is the MOST FUN thing. Everyone's all like, ".........is this person a terrorist?" It's very fun. :D
  14. ^^....who is that? and what does she have to do with PETA?? O.o
  15. I agree with what HorrificAttack said. Although I do a Christian person who is naturally nice... but, I think her parents, like, brainwashed her to be. Christianity is fine, if you want to believe in external forces to comfort the fact that eventually you'll die, whatever, man, I don't care. But I know so many Christian people who really need to mellow out and stop trying to convert people and stuff. It's like that with most major religions actually. (I'm thinking of becoming a Jew just because Jewish people are so nice and don't go around looking for converts. :P) I think you should live your life the best way you can, whether or not you believe in any religion. If you die and it all turns out to be true, and God/Zeus/Allah's all like, "Sorry, man, you were a great guy, but you're still fucked because you didn't worship me every day," I would at least know that God was the meanest bastard ever while I was, you know, burning in eternal hellfire or whatever. What I'm saying is, religion shouldn't be your motivator to be nice. So I basically agree with what HorrificAttack said about being nice.

Originally, I thought that he was saying "If you love me, won't you let me GO," not "Let me know" in Violet hill. And the very first time I heard Clocks, I thought he said "a target's waiting to be framed" instead of "a tiger's wating to be tamed." I was like, what the fuck? o-O

  18. This reminds me vaguely of West Side Story. :P "When you're a... person who votes for this song, you're a person who votes for this song for life...!" Or, you know, maybe not... Strawberry Swing 242 - In My Place 200 +
  19. No. On top of swimming on average four-five miles per day and having the metabolism of a shrew, I can eat up to six thousands calories per day (I counted once. Although I did eat a LOT that day.) with no reprecussions. Actually I'm really light, which is bad for swimming, because it mean's I'm weak. Ish. I'll probably be paying for it when I'm fifty and my coronary artery completely closes up, though. :D
  20. .... This isn't going to end. Ever. That being said, I may as well participate. :D Strawberry Swing 243 - In My Place 199 +
  21. Icy One Act... isn't that just another name for Coldplay? Lmao. Where did you find that??
  22. I like listening to the instrumental LiT more than I do the singing one. Anyone agree? I don't know why, it's just nice to listen to the rest of the band get all the attention.

My favorite quote is probably "Chocolate and bondage." XDXD When I first heard that I was laughing so hard.
  24. I like Yes mainly because it's like, the only Coldplay song about lust. And now that I think about it, I'm amazed they haven't really made any songs about lust before (mostly just sadness and a little self-pity) And gawd is Chris Martin sexy in it. It's like, instead of being made of atoms or something, he's made of sex. ...okay, that made no sense and it made me seem like a raving fangirl. Currently Yes is one of my favorites.
  25. I'm glad there are other people out there who like Coldplay. I only know about .... hmm, two, besides a couple who like a few songs. :)
