  1. I like it! It fits the song perfectly and is fun. I don't get the Rihanna WFL comparison at all :wtf: Is it that the couple is in a car during some of the video?! I mean that's in tons of videos. I like it better than the live video too. I just don't like music videos to be live. I thought it was a really upbeat and fun video for an upbeat and fun song. Glad they left the piano bit at the end
  2. I'm excited for the forth, but that's because it's my birthday, lol. Wish I had the funds to celebrate the day with Coldplay though! Oh well, my date with them on April 25th will be an early bday pressie!
  3. Last time it was 'blues' so you could try that...
  4. Three months from today for me! :D
  5. If they do the Xylobands, and mix PoC up a little (a la Politik - well maybe not quite that different) it might not be so bad. I just don't want it to be an exact replica of the album version. They need to do something different with it to wow everyone :)
  6. Sometimes they don't post the specific one for the venue at all... I presume you are referring to the floor seats, as generally the others are fixed and don't change. As a general rule of thumb, anything rows 1 - 30 should be pretty decent as the X stage is around row 20 or so for most of the venues floor plans so far.
  7. at his little 'goooo-wwwaaa!' at the end!
  8. Definitely luck and some persistence. When it comes to Ticketmaster, they don't always release the best tickets right when the sale goes live. For example, when the Seattle show went live in the AMEX presale, I was pulling pretty mediocre seats. You have to be willing to not settle and just kept giving them up and re-trying. About an hour into the presale I grabbed front row aisle tickets in the section right next to the stage. It's all a crap shoot with Ticketmaster and Live Nation unfortunately... This method didn't work for me in the Portland show, although that was through the venue's own ticketing system. I kept pulling up OK seats, but kept thinking I'd get better. I never did, so I'm just waiting until closer to the show to see if they release more tickets.
  9. Wow, can't believe they are doing two Dallas AND two Houston. Typical they do this the year I'm leaving! Well Angie will now be happy her siggie will be complete!!
  10. He definitely smoked during the VLV era, so who knows about now. I haven't seen any recent pictures of him smoking...

Well, I tried to get tickets to Portland after the initial sale (and passing on a row 24 seat ) and now there are none available from the official site. Same for Seattle according to friends without tickets - but I have great seats for that show! It seems a lot of the shows are sold out, which is a good sign I guess. But a lot of them are probably on stubhub, etc. I think Houston is sold out too, as my friends said the other day that there were no tickets available from the Toyota Centre. I'm going to shoot for Portland closer to the show date - they usually release tickets then.
  12. I'm hoping I'll be quite close to get some good pics of Will in Seattle. My friend and I are in the first row of the section right to the side of the stage and we have the closest aisle seats to the stage - meaning I'll probably have a pretty good view overall! It'll be nice since we won't have anyone to one side of us. I'm thinking this will allow for all sorts of roadie, band, et al. spotting! Of course, I'll only see their backs on the X-Stage, but I am hoping to get floor tickets for either of the Vancouver shows or Portland. I was dumb and passed on a row 24 ticket for Portland that would have put me dead center a couple of rows back from the X-Stage during the pre-sale! That was before I knew the layout though. Oh well, at least I know the X-Stage goes out to around row 20 or so for most shows. I'm aiming for a low 20's floor ticket! :)
  13. Maybe the added LA date means they are going to film a tour DVD there? :sneaky:
  14. My birthday! Ah, wish I could make it down there - would be a great bday weekend! We'll have to see... Mmm, I smell filming for a possible DVD? :sneaky:
  15. Wasn't that just the original title of Major Minus?
  16. That is so cool!! I guess it wouldn't work when they first go on sale due to all the people looking for tickets. This is really good for buying tickets later. I wish they had this for some of the other shows I'm looking at...
  17. I can't believe some people have actually bought it!!! :shocked2:
  18. Ooh, how does that work? I've never heard of being able to actually select your specific seats before. :stunned:
  19. Mmm, well I guess it's always a gamble if you go through third party. Either way, you are on the floor, so even though it's not the side you want, you are still going and have a great seat! :D I remember Guy and Jonny randomly switching sides on the VIVA tour during the show anyway, so you'll probably get a bit of both...
  20. It's probably because those are VIP seats for the packages. Scalpers can't buy and sell them as they are pick-up only night of show (at least at the venues I've looked at). The name on ID in person has to match the ticket order too. If they don't sell all those seats as VIP, they'll get released eventually. That's what I'm holding out on for the Vancouver or Portland shows. They usually release tickets the day of the show too, and since I already have great Seattle tickets, I don't mind taking the risk for a second show...
  21. Well after rummaging through it last night, I must say it's a nicely put together package. Love all the juicy morsels of inside info on the tracks and I like how it's all contained in the book itself so it's almost like a coffee table book lol. I also like the size and thickness - fits on my bookcase nicely! The only things I don't like are the tiny copies of chris's notebook :snobby: and the fact my outer slipcase is slightly dented in on one side :(
  22. This. It seemed like it was headed that way, but never really took off? Probably some sort of suit since Ticketmaster/Live Nation weren't getting as many fees with the paperless option? I can't remember.
  23. Got it!! It's looks :awesome: Now I have to spend my evening going through it all!
