  1. Ah, there wasn't a car there when I went... I think it's funny the sign in the alley says 'No Parking' but they still parked there anyway!
  2. LOL, yeah of course ... Ah, I wish I could have gone inside! I'd be like :shocked2:
  3. You go and visit the Bakery while in London, now that it has been found, while listening to Coldplay on your Ipod ;)
  4. I don't think you can go in, lol... I would figure if you even knocked on the door no-one would answer - or if they did, they'd probably tell you to politely go away! I wouldn't be worried about just visiting, it's a public street!! When we visited it just seemed like any other typical place really. Just respect their privacy and don't hover around for ages or look suspicious :laugh3:
  5. I was wondering the same thing! I was considering going to this show when I was visiting a friend, but we ended up changing the dates. If you go to Live Nation now and use the 'select a seat' option thing (the graphical layout that shows the exact seats) you can get amazingly good seats... PIT, first 10 rows in the front sections... it's so weird... Anyway, I'd suggest anyone who hasn't gotten tickets, or wants better ones, to go to Live Nation now and use that option to select your seats!
  6. The area is quite surprisingly gross, lol. I had no clue that Chris and Gweneth lived just down the street. When I head back home in December, I'll have to take a longer stroll, and this time I'm NOT forgetting my camera! So the other side that faces Agincourt Road that has the two garage door things, is that the back if the entrance is down that alley?
  7. So you don't have to buy it in advance? On another note, yay for Snow Patrol being the opening act! It's going to be a great concert. I'm glad I decided to do both the shows. Also, I don't feel so crazy driving 3 hours to another concert now since I'm getting to see one of my other favourite bands. Plus they won't be coming to Houston...
  8. Hurrah!! I love Snow Patrol too!! I'm glad I decided to go to the San Antonio show as well!!! This is going to be a great concert with them both there! :D
  9. Singing games have them. The best is Singstar for the PS3. It has a whopping EIGHT Coldplay songs (The most of any artist in their catalogue! :smug:). I have them all, lol, but suck at singing them. Singstar came with 'Clocks', and then I downloaded the other seven ('Shiver', 'Yellow', 'The Scientist', 'Speed Of Sound', 'Fix You', 'Talk' and 'The Hardest Part'). The online catalogue is constantly updated, so now I'm just waiting for the VIVA singles! The great thing about Singstar, is that it's the real artists and the real videos, so you can collect your favourite music videos on there, ha. Plus they are only $1.49 each, so it's just like ITunes, but you can not only have the video but particpate in it too... Funny thing is, with all the songs I have sung on it (including non-Coldplay), 'The Hardest Part' is my highest score in the whole game, lol :shocked2: It's a really fun group game though. Other than Coldplay, I particularly enjoy The Ting Tings tracks I downloaded :)
  10. I'm wondering if the indoor shows that were added (after the initial July/August outdoor shows were announced) will be similar to the current shows. The arena setting is more fitting for that stage set. I don't see how they can do that set in some of the outdoor amphitheatres to be honest. I also wonder how they'll do the B and C stage sets in the amphitheatres? I'm going to two of the shows - one from the indoors group and one from the outdoors group, separated by a month and a half, so I'm hoping they will both be different. I've also noticed that many of the shows in May and June are in locations not visited last year... If you look at the US dates, the first bunch (which I believe are mostly indoor venues) is May to the end of June, then they head off to Europe, and come back in July for the original tour in mostly outdoor venues. I'm wondering if this will be where the changes to the stage and show occur...
  11. LOL, how funny. I love how they are all comfortable enough in their own skin to do silly stuff like this and not care, ha. BTW, is it just me, or does Will STILL have a mark on his face from that drum incident?!?! :stunned:
  12. I actually had this same situation and made a disc. I just added as many singles and my favourite album tracks onto one disc, lol. It turned out nicely I think and has a nice flow to it, although it was still missing a few singles... I just didn't have enough room, ha! Oh, and they liked it enough to go by the albums :smug: Violet Hill God Put A Smile Upon Your Face Speed of Sound Viva La Vida Clocks Talk Life in Technicolor ii The Scientist Yellow White Shadows Lovers In Japan In My Place Fix you Shiver Politik The Hardest Part Trouble
  13. I just got back from London on Monday (after visiting my mum and sister in Bristol) and visited the Bakery. It's very easy to find now that the location has been revealed, lol. It was so surreal to be where they create the music etc. We basically went to Belsize Park station (on the Northern line) and then walked to it. I felt kind of stalkerish, lol, so we were only there for a bit to see it. I didn't even take a picture since I forgot my camera (and was so freakin' mad) but it's in my memory and I'll be back again soon, so I'll take one then. It's a very plain looking building, so I guess that's a reason they chose it. Anyhoo, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it if you are in London. I don't think it's bad just going to see it, I mean you might even run into one of the band members if you are there at the right time. I just wouldn't hover around, that's a bit creepy ;)
  14. LOL, I dunno, they are just easy to get in and out of and you can get a better view if someone is obstructing your view, etc. Also, when they are near the stage, they are great! On another topic, does anyone know about parking at ATT Center? I didn't get the parking when I bought the ticket, and realised maybe I should have. Do you have to get it in advance, or are there other options??
  15. Personally, I think aisle seats are great! :D
  16. I might be wrong, but I think that means you are on the further away side of the section (like I am) since you are on the opposite side to me :\ Maybe there is a possiblity they don't know what they are talking about (fingers crossed) and we are BOTH right next to the stage, lol! Oh well, either way, they are both great seats, so I'm sure we'll be fine, ha! I am thinking you might have an aisle seat too though... all the aisle seats I've seen so far in certain sections ended in ones (1, 11, 21, etc.)
  17. Ok, so I called the ATT Center and found out how the seating goes, so this might help others too... The seat numbers go from left to right if you are facing the sections. So on the LEFT side, seat #1 is furthest from the stage (GRRRR!!!) and on the RIGHT side, seat #1 is closest from the stage. I'm still super happy with the ticket I have, but was hoping it was the 'closer to the stage seat' lol! I guess this way I'll at least have a more full-on view of the stage...
  18. Does anyone know how the seating numbers go for the non-floor seats? Do they start at seat 1 by the stage and stay the same for each section, or is it section specific? I'm trying to figure out where seat 1 vs. the end seat is for each section...
  19. WOW, that place is huge :stunned: It kind of looks empty because of that, ha :laugh3:
  20. OMG, that's so funny! I was right behind you then, ha. I realised I was actually in ROW 6, not 5, ha... I think Chris is blocking you out in the Chronicle pics :( I'll have to go and find it and look! EDIT: Chris's big bum is blocking you out in the unedited pic I have in my avi, but I think I see you in the other two of the pics, but barely... how do i post pix on here?!?!?
  21. Mmm, that could be an aisle seat... Obviously 1 is, and that's what I have. I'm just not sure if 1 starts closest to the stage or it's closer to Section 8 (hoping it's closer to the stage!). Either way it's good I guess. Toyota Center My friend and I were sitting Section 105 Row 5 Seats 1&2. That's how that pic got taken, since the Houston Chronicle took it from somewhere on the floor when Chris was on the catwalk! We were :shocked2: when we were browsing the paper the next day since we were dead center in the photo behind Chris's head, ha!
  22. Yes! That's great! That's even better than mine, lol, by 6 rows! It's super close to the stage - See my avatar? If they have the catwalks, THAT's roughly how close you will be!!! Is it an aisle or are you squished between others?
  23. AHHHH! I'm soooo excited I got Section 10, row 13 aisle seat right next to the stage!! Yay, that makes up for Houston, although I do have a pretty good ticket now for that, but this is WAY better. It'll be like Toyota Center again last year. I honestly can't believe I'm going to TWO Coldplay concerts this year :) I feel kind of lame going on my own, but oh well, when they are the middle of the week and your friends have no sense of adventure, you have to do what you want, ha!
