Everyone stop being so negative especially the ones who don't know Oasis very well. Liam's pretty simple either you like it or you don't. Back in the day he was cocky but he was in (and still is part of) the best band in the world that will make the best of us a bit cocky. Its between The Scientist, Yellow and Viva La Vida I'll have to go with The Scientist, its the song that sold coldplay to me and is just an all around great song (its great on guitar and on piano - its perfect)

Thanks flickahidalgo Im glad you think so. howyousawtheworld - going into directing is not easy you have to do alot of work, it usually starts from the bottom unless your related to Lucas or Scorsese but I'm not so :( Anyway film or broadcast are really general courses that cover everything directing, camera, editing, scripwriting ect and the student just drifts into the area that best suits them. Getting into a program though requires a portfolio but schools usually look at your English marks (for the writing part) and make you write a test which is always an essay..I hate writing essays lol. The portfolio is made up of photographs rather then videos (sometimes they look at your films though) They look at how you compose an image if you have a good eye then your good to go.

Well I've always wanted to be a director and since high school I've gotten somewhat addicted to editing I guess hah. When you have a band like Coldplay though who are amazing musicians and put on a visually stunning show its really easy to get into work like this. I'm always finding something to edit but lately i've been doing videos like this. The program I finished was broadcast television and videography but the courses that I focused on were all film courses. I do my edits on Final Cut Pro which is professional video editing software for mac computers. I filmed in HD specifically for this purpose and I think the end product turned out nicely I'm just really glad to hear others like what they are seeing. My dream job would be to film a band like Coldplay for a living but for now i'll have to continue with my undercover productions.

Thanks, these videos have taken a very long time to arrive at this form I have probably seen and downloaded every HD version of these songs on youtube. I went through every video afterward and found the most interesting shots and used them in my edit. Both videos have gone through dozens of variations before I came to the finished product. I would literally have the video done and think hmmm I think this has potential to be better. In Toronto I had a real wide shot of the Rogers Center so I got shots such as the cell phone wave ect. When I saw the final two night at Wembley Stadium I was lucky enough to be right at the front so I got those really close up stage shots. For a while I just had these edits on my facebook profile for friends and family but I'm glad I have finally shared it with the people who I have really made it for. 42 people have now seen the first part of my video

Hello im a fan of Coldplay just graduating out of Broadcast/Film so I used what i've learned and applied some Coldplay to it and this is what I got. These are two edits that I did of the Viva La Vida Tour its a mix of live footage from youtube and my own personal footage from the Toronto July 30 2009 and Wembley Sept 18/19 2009 shows. Thanks so much for responding and sorry for taking sooo long to respond. I've been visiting the site but was not signed in so I never got your message till now. Well I managed to get two GA tickets for the Rogers Center show on July 3. My tickets says GA25 row GA0 seat 17.. I'm assuming this is what they put on the ticket but it is still just a GA floor ticket and there is no actual seat. Please say im right haha. Did you go to a Toronto show or were they all shows near you? Also how early did you go? It says doors open at 5 but I can only imagine everyone who got GA floor tickets will be heading there real early.

U2 360 Canadian Tour question Hello I live in Toronto and wanted to buy 2 tickets for the U2 360 tour at the Rogers Center in July 2010 only thing is I have never been to their show and don't know what the layout is. I saw the seating chart but when I look for tickets online I see things like "Field GA 2" $98 a ticket im willing to spend that much but I don't know if its good. Is the GA floor area split up into sections? Please if you have been to the show in Toronto before please shed some light on where the closest/best areas to be are. I will spend about $200ish if you know where to get tickets from.

If there is not a new song there just might be A Scandal in Bohemia. Yeaaahh 50 posts...i know thats sad.. :(
